I stood before my fighting force and explained the plan.
"The execution is in two days. I had briefed everyone on the plan while the execution was being prepared. My fleet would launch an attack on the imperial garrison located above the planet. While the empire was focused on that, I would sneak onto the planet under the guise of a shooting star, and then I will wait for the right time. Once I was on the planet, I will give the order for you to retreat," I said.
"But sir, the imperial garrison is a strong force and shouldn't be taken lightly," said a young cadet.
"Your name is James Anderson Cass, am I right?" I said.
"Er, yes, sir," said the boy."Your name tag says J.A. Cass, am I right?" I asked him."Yes, sir," he said."Welp, I'm just going to call you Jackass,
" I said.Everyone broke out in laughter, much to the embarrassment of the cadet.
"I'm just playing, and your point is valid. The Imperial Garrison is filled with impressive pilots, impressive but arrogant. Tell me what they have been fighting against in terms of soldiers and mobile weapons,
" I asked."Um, volunteers and modded civilian mobile weapons," he said.
"So basically they're trained soldiers who have been fighting against a bunch of militia," I said.
"Yes, sir," he said.
"But what do you have now that you didn't have a week ago?" I said.
"New mobile weaponry battle strategies," said the boy.
"Indeed, so don't you think the Imperials may be in for a rude wake-up call?" I said with a knowing grin. His eyes widened, but then he smiled wickedly.
"Good. Now, before we begin, does anyone here specialize in demolition?" I asked them.
"I do, sir," said a girl her name was Alice.
she was dressed in brown freighter togs; if I could describe her as anything, it would be a fan service fusion of Origami Tobiichi and Mei Hatsume, as she had short wild silver hair and heterochromatic eyes, the left one being blue and the right one being red. Her most noticeable feature was a scar on her jawline that had some sort of wired light going through it; I later learned was the sign of cybernetic implants used by the empire to track their people or to create forced loyalists. No doubt that scar was from a surgery to remove it.
"Great, well then, I need you to do something for me,"
I told her.A few hours later, a small transport ship was loaded with smog bombs. The smog wasn't fatal or anything, just colored to give the illusion of nerve gas. As for the explosives, they had the power of a rather loud bottle rocket. Flashy, dangerous, but not that destructive.
"Okay, now that everything is in order, we'll begin with the plan. First, the main fleet will serve as a distraction, while a few of us will sneak into the space around the execution squad. This cruiser will fly into the air under the pretext of an imperial loyalist then when I give the signal, it will detonate and unleash the smog bombs that act as a nerve gas, causing people to panic.
From there, I will appear in my armor on my mobile suit and initiate operation Code Uranus to free the senators," I said.
"But sir, Wouldn't that make us terrorists?" asked a cadet.
"With the way the empire views us, aren't we already terrorists?" I said with a shrug.
"Touche," said the cadet's wingman.

As I landed my Gundam in the deep back alley of the planet Zenobia, where the execution was to take place, I changed into my armor and began to go over my system functions.

"Sweet Jesus!" Kira said, surprised at the system's abilities, especially the ability to evolve not only himself but also his fellow soldiers if they were worthy; it must be something similar to the ability to have familiars in certain fantasy systems. He had 15 points; he put 4 into accuracy, 4 into melee, and the remaining 7 into reaction, and he suddenly felt the effects. He felt his reflexes and reaction become faster, and precision became clearer; it felt like he had drunk 2 shots of espresso and taken 2 Adderall.
"Ho-Lee," Kira said, surprised by the sudden burst of energy.Sometime later, Kira was in a tavern where he met a girl the patrons called her Sue-key, and she appeared to be some sort of alien known by the bioluminescent Prism mark on her forehead.
"May I...help you...sir?" She asked me in a speech that was spaced out between elipses must be her problem with speaking the human tongue."May I buy you a drink?" I said with a gentle smile.
"...sure," she said with a shy blush.
As they drank Sue-key explained that she came from a planet called Veldora and that its people were known for being exceptional telepathic pilots and masters of using quantum brainwaves, Kira smiled."Your people sound special," Kira said.
"...Thank you, Mister Veidt," she said.
Hethen paid for her drink and drove her home in the master Gundam's core lander before heading back to my room. With the plan in motion, I began the rescue.

The fleet arrived just on time for battle; while that was happening, I waited in hiding as the ceremony of execution was beginning.
"Lord Michael Veidt, you are being charged with the crimes of treason against the empire and are hereby sentenced to death," said the Imperial Executioner.
"Not unless I have something to say about that," I said through a voice scrambler as I appeared near the balcony.
"Huh, who are you?" said the Executioner.
"I am the leader of the rebellion; my name is Terrestrial," Kira said, making a gunbuster pose.
"Kill him," said the executioner.
"If you kill me, a ship carrying explosives filled with nerve gas will crash-land here in this square," Kira said, and the people began to rustle.
"You're lying," said the executioner.
"Oh, am I?" Kira asked as the executioner suddenly saw behind me about a few miles away in the air my transport ship.
"Free the senator; you know he's innocent, you charlatan," Kira said.
This made the crowd begin to panic; the man had all the reason to comply now. Kira had the last push to make."Or do I have to remind you of the tragedy of Veldora?" Kira Asked him.
True, Veldora was destroyed by the empire, but it wasn't this man's fault, although it was classified information even he wasn't supposed to mention.
"H-How do you know about Veldora?" said the executioner.
'And just like that you've dug your own grave,' thought Kira, and the imperials all began to gather around the square as the senator was let free and brought to me before I flipped a switch and the explosives went off, letting loose the orange-colored gas.The result was mass hysteria. I placed a mask over the senator and ran off as I snapped my finger. The master Gundam appeared, and I hopped in my core lander before I leaped into the air and landed inside the lander with the senator before revealing my identity."Hello, Father," I said.
"Kira, what in the name of Cordelia are you doing?" Micheal asked."Rescuing you, of course," I said.
"And what about this mobile suit?" he asked me.
"I'll tell you about it later," I said.A few moments later we arrived at the Garrison, where the fight went as expected because the empire had been only battling against civilian machines. They weren't accustomed to dealing with actual mobile weapons meant for war and, as a result, lost miserably since they weren't expecting to deal with battle strategies and combat mobile suits.(Rebel base: planet Andromeda outside the Lycander sector.)After I had explained everything to my father, he was skeptical at first, but there was no use in denying the evidence of new mobile weapons and warships."I see, so this system of yours allows you to develop mobile suits and ships to battle with," said Micheal."Yes, and with it, I plan on ending the empire's reign of terror," Kira said.
-Meanwhile-
"So you said the enemy was piloting a black mobile suit," said a woman's voice over the comms system.
"Yes, that's right, Lady Jane, and I believe it may have been a Gundam," said the executioner. She narrowed her eyes.
"A Gundam, you say? Well then we shall have to investigate this further," said the woman. To be continued.
