(The problem was that they were in different classes, Lysette was in "2A" and Alora was in "2B" since she was a new student, they became so close that they couldn't bear being in different classes! So when the final exams got over, in the dorms, they lunged at eachother!)
Alora: In maths, in the 17th question, was it option 'A' or 'C'?
Lysette: I think it's 'A', yep I wrote 'A'. What about you?
Alora: 'C'.. I don't know! I had to calculate fast cause I saved this tricky question for the last! I saw somewhere that its 'A' but I got 'C' so..
Lysette: Don't tell me! How many questions you got wrong?
Alora: I checked, three..
Lysette: Then check for this question! If you got one more wrong then you're doomed! Fail!
Alora: What!? No one told me that more than three wrongs equals fail..
Lysette: What did you expect, you dumbo! This is the final exam!
Alora: I am totally done! Why don't you check?
Lysette: Who opens books after exams? But I swear I'll kill you if you fail then you're gonna be stuck here for another three years!
Alora: Then not even a 1% chance of us being in the same class!
Lysette: Nooooo...That can't happen! Let's go and ask Sasha mam this instant!
(Sasha mam was the mathematics teacher for the whole class 2, her elite teaching makes students invested into learning more.)
Alora: Do you think that mam will even be there?
Lysette: We have vacations after this so I think she'll be there correcting papers cause I heard that teachers are allowed to go home after finishing corrections!
Alora: But wouldn't that be impolite?
Lysette: Oh, come on, would you like to bear the burden of knowing that you'll fail throughout the vacations?
Alora: That wouldn't be pleasant either.
Lysette: And it's a harmless question! Not like she has to finish a entire book trying to solve this question!
Alora: I did use couple of pages for this question though..
Lysette: You did? I just selected the answer cause I remember somewhere that it's option 'A'.
Alora: Isn't that memorising?
Lysette: Come on, that was pretty hard to solve and we had barely seconds left!
Alora: I agree though, they should give us more time to complete! Like two hours ain't gonna get us anywhere!
Lysette: So let's go?
Alora: Sure! But if she's eating, we're backing down!
Lysette: Eating at such a odd time? They're teachers so might be...but whatever, deal!
(You can say that at an instant, they barged out of their dorm and left to search for Sasha mam...They searched every corner of the school, asked other teachers and even janiters but no one semt to know..it was when they were about to give up, they saw Sasha mam walking in the hallways..They dashed, Alora went right away, Lysette slipped but grabbed the railings then followed Alora. Alora was definitely more anxious, I mean why wouldn't she be?)
Alora: Excuse me, mam.
Sasha: Yeah child, what brings you here?
Alora: Can you try and recall that in the 17th question, what option was it?
Lysette: She doesn't know our class, dumbo!Mam, I am from class 2A and she's from class 2B.
Sasha: I see, child, let me think...Maybe it was option 'A'?
Alora: Thank you mam.
Lysette: We'll get going.
Sasha: Take care of yourself and your friend.
(Later back in their dorms:-)
Alora: How could that be? I got option 'C' though...
(At this point, Alora's ego shattered.)
Lysette: Calm down, she told 'might'.
Alora: But a teacher's always right!
Lysette: I don't know from where you get this nonsense into your head...By the way, why was she calling you and me, "child"?
Alora: Maybe she doesn't know our names?
Lysette: Impossible! I remember telling her my name again and again each time I asked a doubt!
Alora: She must've forgotten...and tired of you.
Lysette: What did you say?
Alora: Nothing! (Ran off.)
Lysette: Get back here! I'll show you who's tired of who!
(At evening, a paper fell from Sasha's desk, she picked it up, she remembered the students asking the answer for the 17th question...she glanced at the paper...class 2 highlighted at the top and full marks! What a achievement! Let's see...17th question..)
Sasha: Oh my, it was option 'C' afterall...
