Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Undead Race Archer

The Beastman Wizard is not only capable of healing magic, but also simple magical ranged attacks, although the attack power is much weaker than the Beastman Archer, thus its main role is still healing.

Summoning a Beastman Wizard requires 300 Gold Coins and 100 wood.

In no time, Rosen had enough money to perform the summoning.

When the Beastman Wizard was summoned, Rosen saw that it was a female Beastman holding a Magic Staff; looking at the chest, indeed, it's a healer.

Of course, Rosen had no peculiar interest in Beastmen; he actually preferred Humans or Elves.

"So, fifty wood is spent on the Magic Staff." Noticing the Magic Staff in the Beastman Wizard's hand, which holds magical power, it is also the source that allows the wizard to continuously cast magic.

Yes, the Beastman Wizard, when casting healing magic, poses no consumption issue, only the problem of cooldown time, with a single target heal approximately every three seconds.

They can't heal themselves, but this can be resolved by summoning more wizards.

Rosen summoned a second Beastman Wizard, then led five Beastman Soldiers, five Beastman Archers, and two Beastman Wizards out of the main city again.

"It has been a month since the awakening of the territory. Do you know how I made it through this month? On the first day, my territory was ransacked by Dog-headed Demons, and on the second day, a group of Minotaurs appeared. Luckily I hid in the main city, the Minotaurs did not attack the main city, I was very scared at the time. But over the month, I barely summoned five soldiers and started developing."

"Your situation is better than mine; I haven't even started summoning a single soldier yet. As soon as I activated the territory, a group of home-wrecking dogs was wandering around. As soon as I built a barracks, it was immediately torn down. Do you think I'm unlucky? Now those Dog-headed Demons have started attacking my main city. Luckily, there's the Lord Mall, I took a loan to buy magical arrows to kill them from the main city."

"Did you awaken a ranged attack hero?"

...

While leading his army to find a target, the class group chat vibrated, and several classmates who awakened as A-level heroes were discussing.

Rosen glanced at it and realized that he is quite ahead of those classmates with A-level hero templates.

Others have not developed an army in a month, while he has gathered a twelve-person army in just two days.

Including himself, they could probably face an army of thirty Dog-headed Demons head-on.

Luck really mattered a lot in this.

If Rosen had also faced the home-wrecking Dog-headed Demons at the start, he would likely have been doomed too.

As he was thinking, a group of around twenty Skeleton Archers appeared right in front of him!

This was a troop of the Undead Race species, currently wild monsters for him.

And they're all ranged attackers; Rosen feared encountering a large number of ranged monsters.

He made a swift decision to withdraw his army, avoiding these Skeleton Archers.

In this vast plain and forest, the wisest move was to pick the easy battles first; confronting a large number of long-range monsters head-on was inadvisable.

However, just as Rosen moved away, he discovered the movement direction of the Skeleton Archers seemed to be heading toward his main city!

This sight alerted him; he quietly called his army to follow.

Indeed, as time passed, this group of Skeleton Archers got closer and closer to his main city.

Rosen determined that the target of the Skeleton Archers' attack was his main city!

"What's going on? These Skeleton Archers came from the distant forest, as if they already knew of the Beastman Territory in this direction?"

An unspoken thought emerged in his mind; it's like playing Warcraft III against the computer, where there are multiple factions on one map.

Could these Skeleton Archers of the Undead Race be coming from a distant Undead Territory?

Generally, wild monsters are loose, forming small groups; it's rare for them to establish territories, only large races like the Undead might have territories.

Rosen didn't know much about the specific situation of the Magic Beast Territory; although the Lord Mall sells information, it usually costs a lot of Lord Coins and only offers fragmented data.

Rosen worried that this world might also have faction territories similar to those in Warcraft III, which would be too dangerous.

This thought made Rosen more tense.

He now worried not only about his own safety, but his parents' as well.

In his own territory, in his main city, there was no worry about food or clothing, and the territory could ensure a certain level of safety, with the main city's defenses much safer than in a town.

But if there really is an opposing camp, it means his main city would sooner or later face a targeted military attack!

Rosen originally intended to avoid this group of Skeleton Archers, but now it seems unavoidable; if he doesn't deal with them, they'll wreak havoc on his territory.

Quickly, he devised a tactic.

In a frenzy, the Beastman Cavalry swiftly charged onwards, catching up from behind and closing in on the group of Skeleton Archers.

When they were within a hundred meters, the Skeleton Archers only then realized they were under attack and turned to shoot at the Beastman Cavalry.

The Beastman Cavalry's body emitted golden light, repelling the incoming arrows with an invincible state.

As the five seconds of invincibility ended, the Beastman Cavalry had reached the nearest Skeleton Archer.

Raising his battle axe, he chopped it into pieces.

Ranged units inherently have weaker defense, let alone mere skeletons, unable to withstand a single blow from Rosen.

At this time, an arrow also hit Rosen.

With reduced defenses, it only deducted five points of health.

For his 3600 total health, it was a negligible loss.

Rosen felt somewhat reassured that even if he were shot by all these archers simultaneously, the damage wouldn't be significant.

Swish, swish, swish!

Soon, ten archers had been slaughtered by him, leaving twenty spreading out, preparing to skirmish.

At this point, two Beastman Wizards came up, waving their wooden staffs.

With two whooshing sounds, the Beastman Cavalry shone with a green light, restoring all lost health.

Rosen's five Beastman Soldiers also spread out, pursuing the scattered Skeleton Archers.

Meanwhile, the Beastman Archers maintained a distance and engaged in a shooting match with the enemies.

Tangled up by the Beastman Soldiers, the Skeleton Archers had no room to maneuver and were swiftly shot down by the Beastman Archers' arrows.

Seeing the Skeleton Archers, which nearly threatened the main city, wiped out, Rosen felt no sense of victory at all.

A deeper worry lingered in his heart.

Assuming his suspicions were correct, the main city should face even greater threats in the near future, threats from within the Lord World!

Even if the outside Demon Race hasn't invaded, the territory could be destroyed by threats from within!

Yet, while cleaning the battlefield, these twenty Skeleton Archers didn't drop anything, heightening suspicion.

"Is it because they came from an opposing territory faction, not the wilderness, that nothing dropped?"

Rosen prepared to check the other side of the forest, where all problems would be resolved.

While he was at it, he could also find more powerful Demon Race entities in the forest to test his skills.
