Ilumi exited the Koser Group headquarters alone, standing outside the building as he flipped through the target dossier in his hand. Out of the corner of his eye, however, he glanced at a black sedan parked across the street.

"Zibonian and Wutong."

Through Ilumi's eyes, the car windows were no barrier—like infrared thermal imaging, he could see two figures enveloped in faint wisps of pale blue smoke.

Ignoring them, Ilumi headed to the bus stop. He needed to buy a laptop from the computer mall; researching without one was inconvenient.

At the bus stop, Ilumi waited patiently. Eventually, a bus screeched to a halt, and several men and women dressed in suits disembarked from the rear door—they appeared to be employees of the Koser Group.

Before boarding, Ilumi pulled out his wallet and dropped two coins into the fare box with a clink.

Twenty minutes later, Ilumi emerged from the computer mall, a brand-new laptop in hand.

"Next, it's back to the Heavens Arena."

He still had his first match on the 200th floor today—a decision made yesterday.

Twenty minutes later, Ilumi returned to his private room in the Heavens Arena. It was 12:10 PM, leaving him four hours before the match began. During this time, he planned to focus on training.

"I've already mastered Zetsu; next is Ren."

Ren was the technique of releasing all the aura accumulated within the body through the pores simultaneously. Mastery of this skill allowed a Nen user to emit significantly more aura than usual.

"In other words, I need to release all the aura in my body."

With that thought, Ilumi clenched his fists and stood in the center of the room, closing his eyes in deep concentration.

"Here goes."

After an indeterminate amount of time, Ilumi's eyes snapped open, and he settled into a horse stance.

*"Boom!"*

A massive surge of aura erupted from his pores like a dam bursting under floodwaters.

"So hot..."

Ilumi felt as though his entire body was submerged in scalding hot water, endless waves of aura pouring out of him. Clenching his fists, he sensed a newfound invincibility—a feeling as if everything in the world was within his grasp. It was an intoxicating sensation.

"This is Ren?"

"My aura capacity is incredible!"

If an ordinary person's aura capacity was rated at 10, Ilumi's would now be closer to 5,000—a staggering difference. Of course, this was just a metaphor. Even ordinary people could increase their aura capacity through training, but Ilumi's natural talent, coupled with years of meditation and brutal practice, placed him far above the norm.

"Alright, it's about time to prepare for the match."

Checking the time—it was now 3:30 PM—he changed into a t-shirt and shorts and headed toward the 205th floor.

One Day Earlier, Around 1:55 PM

After finishing his match on the 190th floor, Ilumi proceeded to register for the 200th floor.

"Tap... tap..."

His footsteps echoed crisply down the dimly lit corridor of the 200th floor. The overhead fluorescent lights flickered intermittently, casting alternating shadows.

"Hmm?"

Approaching the registration desk, Ilumi suddenly turned his head toward the depths of the hallway. A tall figure stood silhouetted against the flickering light, vanishing when the lights dimmed again.

"Foxy?"

Ilumi immediately suspected who it might be—the iconic spiky hairstyle unmistakably belonged to Foxy Fischer, whom he'd seen on the screens during his first day.

Shaking off the thought, Ilumi handed his ticket to the registrar behind the counter. After confirming his identity, she handed him a form.

"Mr. Ilumi, welcome to the 200th floor."

"Please fill out the required information on this form."

"Additionally, would you like to apply for a match immediately?"

Ilumi ignored her, prompting the registrar to continue explaining the rules of the 200th floor without missing a beat.

"On this level, matches are conducted under a declaration system."

"Each participant has a 90-day preparation period."

"During this time, competitors can choose any day they wish to compete."

"Of course, if someone wants to fight every day, that's perfectly fine too."

"Conversely, fighting sporadically within the period is also acceptable."

"As long as you participate in at least one match, your 90-day preparation period resets."

"However, failing to compete even once during the period results in immediate disqualification—and all previous records will be erased. Please keep this in mind."

As Ilumi filled out the form, he recalled the figure he'd glimpsed earlier and smirked slightly.

"On what day is Foxy scheduled to compete?"

"Eh? Foxy?"

The registrar paused, looking thoughtful. "You mean contestant Foxy Fischer?"

"If so, you can check his match history and dates on the Heavens Arena website."

"Or, I can tell you directly."

She sat back down at her computer and began searching for Foxy's next match date.

"Let's see... Foxy Fischer's next match is..."

"July 14, 1980—tomorrow."

"I want to apply for tomorrow's match."

No sooner had the registrar finished speaking than Ilumi handed over the completed form, a confident smile on his face.

"Eh? Are you sure?"

"Most newcomers tend to observe for a while before competing after registering for the 200th floor."

Seeing that Ilumi was still a teenager, the registrar couldn't help but express some concern.

"I'm sure."

Ilumi's response was firm. He was eager to test the strength of the man named Foxy.

He had only one step left in mastering the Four Fundamentals of Nen: Hatsu. Now, he intended to gain experience and refine his combat skills through battle.

"Understood."

Seeing his determined expression, the registrar handed him the competition registration form, allowing him to complete the process.

"You simply need to arrive at the arena on the 205th floor by 4:00 PM tomorrow to face Foxy Fischer."

After collecting Ilumi's completed registration, she entered his match time into the system. Since Foxy was the only other competitor registered for tomorrow, it was clear that Ilumi's opponent would indeed be Foxy.
