Chapter 27 - ** Rise of the Mad Sorcerer**

---

The meeting was set — in one month's time, just outside Olympia.

The team slowly arrived.

The stars above Greece sparkled, and a portal opened with a sonic shimmer. From it stepped the most chaotic lineup the multiverse had ever seen:

- **Ghost Rider**, flaming skull as bright as ever, revving a celestial engine for no reason.

- **Moon Knight**, mumbling to Khonshu, dramatically adjusting his hood.

- **Fan Fei**, the immortal martial artist with a sarcastic smirk and fists that once broke a Celestial's toe.

- **VNN**, the jungle beast of the future, like the Hulk but deeply poetic and heartbroken.

- **Odin**, fully armored and flexing like a retired gym bro reliving his golden years.

- And, of course, **Firehair**, blazing with celestial sass.

Ghost Rider was the first to break the tension.

"Moon-boy! Still worshipping your glow-in-the-dark nightlight?"

"So, moon guy, do you even *moonlight* as a useful member of this team?"

Moon Knight rolled his eyes.

"Better than riding a flaming Mamoth and pretending it's cool."

"I'm the god's vengeance. You're just a flaming Uber driver."

"Excuse you, it's a HellMamoth. And the ladies love it," Ghost Rider snapped back, revving it dramatically.

"It screams midlife crisis with fire," Moon Knight smirked.

Odin arrived last — thundering in with his usual dramatic flair.

"Ah, mortals and their bickering. What a waste of eternity," he said, puffing his chest.

"Here comes the god with daddy issues," Moon Knight whispered to Ghost Rider.

"Shhh! He's flexing," Ghost Rider chuckled.

Firehair leaned beside Fan Fei, casually sipping a drink conjured from solar plasma.

"So, still bored of Earth's battles?"

Fan Fei shrugged. "Meh. Only showed up because I sensed drama. I'm built for drama."

Meanwhile, Vnn stood a bit apart, muscles twitching, mumbling.

"One day... I'll find him again... that soft voice, that glowing smile... brrk..."

"Is he okay?" Fan Fei whispered.

"He's fine. Just gay, grieving, and muscular," Firehair said casually.

Odin overheard and puffed out his chest. "I once courted the goddess of time and she—"

"—left you for a dragon," Firehair said, deadpan.

Odin paused. "Small details."

Odin, not-so-subtly glancing at Firehair, raised a brow.

"So… Firehair… you've changed."

Firehair sighed. "If you're going to ask if I'm single, don't. Weirdo."

Just then, Agamotto's —cleared his throat.

"Ahem! Guys, may I remind you we're facing multiversal annihilation?"

Everyone stopped.

Agamotto stepped forward.

"We're reforming the team. Earth is endangered — again. You all know what happened with Black Panther last time."

Fan Fei raised her hand. "He literally was punched by a god into orbit. I'd say that went well."

Ghost Rider laughed. "This is fun! It's like the Avengers but with trauma and flaming skulls."

Agammoto continued

"This… is General Strange. An alternate version of Doctor Strange from a future timeline. He's gone rogue—absolutely bananas. Lost an arm and a leg to Kraelos the Godking, replaced them with astral-forged metal, and now he's stealing the souls of children to build an army."

"Wow," Ghost Rider said. "That escalated."

"Wait," Moon Knight cut in. "So, let me get this straight. We're looking for a sorcerer with half a body, infinite power, and zero morals. In the whole universe. And we have no way of tracking him."

Moon Knight raised a brow. "So… we're playing cosmic hide and seek with a one-armed warlock?"

Fan Fei snorted. "You're telling me we're hunting a guy with a robotic leg who's mad about timelines? Fantastic."

"Pretty much," Agamotto nodded. "Cosmic hide-and-seek, just with more war crimes."

"Awesome," Moon Knight groaned.

"His plan," Agammoto continued, "is to destabilize the multiverse by eliminating the rulers of every major realm. He fears the Aurorians and intends to conquer Earth before facing them again."

Fan Fei yawned. "Cool. So, we're second fiddle to a planet full of space Vikings?"

"Don't worry," Firehair smirked. "We'll visit. You'll love it. Their young king is charming."

Fan Fei arched a brow. "Is that a blush, Firehair? Are you in love with a glowing rock man?"

"She is," Odin said loudly. "And she's ignoring my obvious charms."

Firehair rolled her eyes. "Weirdo."

"And," Fan Fei turned to Firehair, smirking, "so what's this I hear about you falling for some alien dude? Is he hot?"

Firehair smirked. "Yeah… *He* is."

"Ooooh, spicy. Alien and a Handsome. Please tell me he's tall." fan fei whispered.

Firehair whispered, "Very. And a warrior."

Fan Fei mock swooned. "I hate you and your perfect love life."

Behind them, Odin scoffed.

"Disgraceful. Gods falling in love with mortals—"

"Didn't you fall for a frost giant once?" Firehair shot back.

"That was different!" Odin protested.

"Sure, big guy," Moon Knight muttered.

Agammoto cleared his throat again. "Anyway. Before you all ruin my sanity—General Strange is no joke. He now commands an army of soul-warped beasts. We don't know how many yet, but the numbers are climbing into the millions."

Ghost Rider revved his chains. "Finally. Something fun."

**Elsewhere — in a forbidden dimension…**

*General Strange* knelt within a ritual circle, his body twitching, coughing up blood.

"Disgusting. Humiliated by that monster… that Kraelos…"

He shivered as memories flashed — Kraelos tearing through his defenses, cutting his limbs like paper.

He looked down at his rebuilt arm and leg — fused from twisted metal and corrupted magic.

"They said it couldn't be done… But I *am* the Strongest Sorcerer Supreme."

He raised a crystal soaked in void energy. The souls of kidnapped children flickered inside, screaming silently.

He began the chant — pulling their astral forms, reshaping them into twisted, horned beasts with flesh of shadows and claws of bone.

The first thousand emerged, howling.

Then another.

Millions. Crawling. Wailing.

"Behold…" he whispered, eyes glowing red, "My Children of the End Times."

He laughed maniacally.

"First Earth. Then the Aurorians. And finally — I will collapse every timeline they dared preserve."

Lightning crackled. His metallic limbs sparked as dark magic fused with hate.

"And this war…" he roared, arms raised, "This war is MINE!"

**Back in Olympia**

"So," Fan Fei said, patting Firehair's shoulder, "You bringin' your man to the party?"

Firehair smirked. "Soon. You'll love him. He can break mountains with his pinky."

Ghost Rider whistled. "Kinky."

Moon Knight just sighed. "I miss fighting muggers. This cosmic stuff's exhausting."
