SYNOPSIS
Being bullied and thrown out of her home in the middle of the night, Daniella Malvern meets Isabella, who takes her in and gives her to Maximus Malcolm—as a maid.
She struggles to adjust to life with her handsome yet heartless master, who gives her the creeps. According to the other maids, he is ruthless, with a stony heart toward everyone.
To the maids, he was known as the ruthless master—but the first time he meets Daniella, he's a little bit nice to her, which she dares to take advantage of.
All it takes is refusing to go out with him... and she nearly loses her life.
Surviving death, she must now obey five solid rules:
1..You must not leave the mansion without my permission...
2..You must not be seen with any man...
3..You must make me feel comfortable at any cost...
4..You must not be seen or gossiping with the other maids...
5..You must not break any rule, or you will be punished... by me.
After stating these rules, Maximus begins to feel something he's never known before—what humans actually call "love"—towards Daniella, and uses his devastating charm to slowly bewitch her.

He was inside the swimming pool with the lady he brought earlier. Passing by, Daniella kept her head down, not daring to look at them. She went straight to her room and slammed the door. Sitting on the bed, the image of the two of them lingered in her mind.
Why the hell should she be thinking of some crazy nonsense like that?
She shook her head vigorously, trying to remove the thought. But the more she tried, the more it lingered. The next thing she knew, her door was kicked open with a loud bang.
Startled, she looked up—expecting the crazy housekeeper or Mrs. Florida who usually bullied her. But this time, it was different. Just his silhouette was enough to tell her who it was.
"Maidi." His husky, sharp voice pierced right through her heart. Only Maximus called her that—and for some reason, she didn't know why she loved hearing him say it.
"Sir…" she answered, still surprised by his sudden appearance.
"You know you still owe me for breaking my wristwatch, right?" That was when she remembered her promise to repay the watch she accidentally broke.
"I told you to take it from my salary," she reminded him.
"Ahaaah, so I said so, huh?"
"Y-Yes," she replied innocently.
"This week, you seem to be breaking many rules, you see," he said with a smirk.
"W-What?" She thought she misheard him.
"As my personal maid, you were supposed to be inside that pool with me. But you don't do your job, huh?"
"What job...? You were with your girlfriend, so how could I possibly—" That was all she could say before Maximus silenced her... with his lips.

She was in the room cleaning when suddenly Maximus came out from the bathroom—and threw his body on the bed, wearing only a towel.
He raised two fingers, signaling her to come closer.
When she was right in front of him, he said:
"You can start now."
Start what? Is this man crazy? What the hell is going on in his head?
She stood there, unmoving.
"Can't you hear me?" His voice grew sharper. "He is not that patient, so you better start—or you'll regret it," he added, a wicked smirk playing on his lips.
Who exactly was he referring to?
She just stood there—dumbfounded.
