Chapter 69: Rare Flower
When Bai Feng arrived at the Blue Bird Orphanage, Director Meili and Fuyu were not Home, only a few children were at Home.
Nanako and Youta, the two older ones, were writing Summer Homework in the Room. Ikki was holding Little Huang and sitting in the Courtyard, spacing out. Little You was taking Rimo to dig for Earthworm on the Ground.
Seeing Bai Feng enter the door, Little You and Rimo quickly dropped the small Wooden Stick they were using to dig for Earthworm and ran quickly to his side.
"Brother Bai Feng, you're here! You haven't come to see us for several days!" Little You complained unhappily.
Rimo also looked at Bai Feng with a longing expression.
"Didn't I come now?" Bai Feng said, stroking Little You's and Rimo's Heads. "Look what I brought for you?" Bai Feng shook the Bag in his hand that contained Snack.
"Wow, it's delicious Stuff!" Little You cheered.
Rimo also became beaming with smiles.
"You're not angry now, right?" Bai Feng handed the Bag to Little You and said, "Take it and share it with everyone."
Little You quickly dragged the large Snack Bag and led Rimo towards the Room.
Bai Feng walked into the Courtyard, took Little Huang from Ikki's hands, and said to him, "Ikki, you should also go and eat with everyone. I'll watch Little Huang."
"Okay, thank you, Brother Bai Feng." Ikki nodded obediently, then quickly walked into the House, afraid that if he was a step slow, the delicious Stuff would be eaten by everyone.
The children were sharing Snack in the Room, while Bai Feng held Little Huang and enjoyed the cool air under the Tree Shade in the Courtyard. Little Huang was very well-behaved, quietly lying in Bai Feng's arms without making a fuss, only his pair of bright, watery eyes restlessly looked around.
Just then, shouting suddenly sounded from outside the door.
"Is anyone there? Express Delivery!"

The Courier saw someone come out and asked, "Is Bai Feng here? There's an Express Delivery for him!"
"I am Bai Feng."
Bai Feng Guess that it might be the Stuff sent by Teacher Da Cun's friend that had arrived.
The Courier nodded, took out a Box from the Space Backpack behind him, and said, "Okay, please show me your Identity Certificate."
After showing his Identity Certificate, Bai Feng Smoothly received the Package. He looked at the sender, and it was indeed Teacher Da Cun's friend written on it.
However, as he looked at the Box in his hand, he felt that it really didn't look like something that could hold any Plant. Wouldn't a Plant die if it was put inside?
Returning to the Courtyard, Bai Feng couldn't wait to open the Box. Inside, he saw a Letter and a Lotus-Shaped Crystal lying there.
Hmm? Where was the Rare Plant that was promised? Why was it a white transparent Crystal?
Bai Feng picked up the Crystal in confusion, but he didn't know where he accidentally touched it, and the Petal of the Crystal Lotus, which were originally layered and gathered together, slowly opened.

The Charizard inside opened its mouth and spat out a stream of intense Flame to burn the Arbok, but the Arbok raised its tail and heavily whipped the Charizard's neck, causing the Charizard's Head to twist to the side, and at the same Time, the Flame sprayed elsewhere.
The Arbok took the Opportunity to flexibly coil around the Charizard's Body, using its long and thick Body to wrap around the Charizard's wings, neck, belly, and tail, making it impossible for the Charizard to move at all.
The Charizard tried to struggle, but its strength seemed inferior to the Arbok's. Finally, Bai Feng only saw its Head twist to the side, and then it fell straight down.
The Charizard's neck was actually twisted off by the Arbok! How terrifying!
Although the Video was only a short dozen seconds long, Bai Feng was stunned for a while after watching it. It was the first Time he had seen such an intense battle, or rather, "slaughter" would be more accurate.

And the Flower of Time was a derivative of the World Tree of Beginning. Although it looked and felt like Crystal, it was indeed a true Plant.
This special Plant had a characteristic: it would record and save the Matter that had happened around it.
In other words, the scene Bai Feng had just seen was something that had actually happened in the past. He just didn't know how much Time had passed since then.
Most Flower of Time would Wither after playing the recorded Video once, but the one Bai Feng had just seen was relatively special. Coupled with the fact that it had been made into a Specimen using special means, the Video inside could be played indefinitely.
The dangerous area where the World Tree of Beginning was located had a very high level of danger, as could be seen from the segment of Video Bai Feng had just watched. Therefore, the Quantity of Flower of Time that had been brought out so far was not large, and most of them were used for research.
This particular one belonging to Teacher Da Cun's friend was given to him many years ago by an Old Senior from Kanto Region when he was invited to the Kanto Region to do research. He had always treasured and kept it at Home.

But Teacher Da Cun told Bai Feng not to mind. He had saved their lives, and now it was just a Flower of Time, which was nothing.
Bai Feng knew that although Teacher Da Cun said so, the Flower of Time was indeed his friend's treasure. Now that it had been reluctantly parted with and sent to him, that friend was probably also reluctant to part with it in his heart.
