Chapter 8 - Roxy Migurdia

---

Another two years passed, and Roya successfully found a wife for Rudeus—Sylphy.

After bringing a somewhat shy Sylphy home and letting Rudeus begin his training plan, Roya said in his heart: "You already have one, so don't be unfaithful."

So, in addition to his usual practice of magic and swordsmanship, he began calculating the time.

Why am I calculating the time? Of course I'm waiting for Roxy.

Rudeus already has a wife, so as the eldest brother, it's not too much for me to have one too, right?

When Rudeus was four years old, Roya began to make requests to Paul and his wife with appropriate reasons.

"Father, Mother, I think Rudi and I need a magic teacher to teach us," said Roya.

So, not long after, a girl with azure hair got off the carriage.

"My name is Roxy Migurdia. Nice to meet you." A cute girl with a petite figure, wearing a magician-style brown robe and a light blue braid tied into a pigtail, probably the size of a junior high school student, appeared in front of them with an appearance that could be described as petite and well-behaved.

She spoke to Paul with her eyes half-closed and a slightly tired look.

Loli. Half-closed eyes. Cold attitude. That was the impression she gave to everyone.

The moment he saw Roxy, Roya pulled Rudeus aside without even thinking.

Roya said seriously, "Rudeus, am I good to you?"

Rudeus felt puzzled, but nodded. To be honest, although the big brother in front of him had a cold expression, he was actually a very good person.

Roya leaned close to Rudeus's ear and said, "I like this girl."

Rudeus's eyes suddenly widened. He glanced at the cute Roxy, then looked at the extremely pretty little boy in front of him. He couldn't help blushing at the thought of them getting close. He almost instantly thought of the dozen-gigabyte notebook.

As if he was afraid that Rudeus didn't hear clearly, Roya repeated it again: "I like this girl."

Rudeus nodded, showing an understanding expression. He leaned close to Roya's ear and said, "What do you want to do?"

"What should we do?" Roya looked at Rudeus strangely and asked, "What else can we do?"

Rudeus chuckled, his mouth curled up, revealing a lewd smile. Roya couldn't help but take two steps back. Rudeus whispered, "Of course it's that! Such a cute girl—don't tell me you don't have any ideas at all."

Roya fell into deep thought. He nodded. Rudeus patted the shoulder of the brother in front of him. He glanced at Sylphy in the room and said loudly, "Sylphy, you can come out and listen too."

Paul, very dissatisfied with the two boys muttering beside him, shouted loudly, "Roya, Rudeus, come over and meet your master quickly!"

Roxy looked at the two of them curiously. She adjusted the brim of her hat slightly and said to Paul, "I heard that you have two boys who want to learn magic. Which one is the other child?"

With Roxy looking like she had seen a ghost, Paul pointed at the tall boy next to him and said, "This is my eldest son. His name is Roya."

Then he pointed to the yellow-haired kid next to him and said, "This is my second son, Rudeus."

Roya was already used to it. He bowed and saluted, "Are you my master? Nice to meet you. My name is Roya Greyrat. You can call me Roya."

Roxy was stunned by the cute little boy in front of her. She pointed at him and asked, "You, a man?"

Roya's eyebrows twitched. He knew that his current appearance would really cause a lot of misunderstandings. Who made me look like this?

Roya nodded, and Roxy smiled awkwardly, looking back and forth between Roya and Rudeus.

"So, these two are going to learn magic?" asked Roxy.

Rudeus raised his hand weakly and said, "If possible, I would like Sylphy to receive your guidance as well."

"Eh~ Me? It's great to be with Rudy and Brother Roya, and to learn magic with them. Is that a bit inappropriate?" Sylphy asked awkwardly.

Rudeus just gave her a bright smile and waved his hand with an expression that said, "I'm counting on you."

Paul covered his forehead with his hand and said irritably, "I say, you two shouldn't make decisions on your own. It was originally agreed that it was only you two."

Roxy's smile was a little stiff. She looked at Sylphy, who was a little timid beside her, and sighed. "You can stay and listen, but aren't you three too young? One is six years old and two are four."

The smiles on Rudeus and Sylphy's faces suddenly froze.

Paul puffed out his chest proudly and said, "All the boys in our family are geniuses."

Like a helpless sigh, Roxy had no other options. She rubbed her brow and said in a gentle voice, "Then, let's start the first class of today."

So the four of them found an open space in the courtyard and sat down.

Roxy took out a thick magic book from her bag, thought for a moment, put the book down, and said to the three children sitting cross-legged in front of her, "Then, let's start with this magic textbook... No, before that, let's first confirm how much magic you can use."

Rudeus was about to speak but was interrupted by Roya's cold voice. Roya said, "We just learned some relevant knowledge from the book."

Roxy's delicate face showed an expression of "as expected." She sighed slightly, looked around, and said to everyone, "I will demonstrate first, and you can try to learn it. May the great blessing of water come to where you pray, and a cool shallow stream will appear here—Water Ball."

A fist-sized ball of water began to gather in her hand, began to flow, and then flew away.

Pah.

The sound of a water ball falling to the ground was heard. It landed next to the railing, wetting the wood.

"Did you see it?" Roxy's expression was a little listless, and it was obvious that she didn't have high expectations for the three of them.

"Amazing." Rudeus said in a slightly exaggerated voice, winking at Roya.

Sylphy was a little confused. Didn't they both already know how to do this a long time ago?

Magic is amazing.

There is no doubt that the four elements of wind, fire, water, and earth can be created out of thin air.

But magic is also extremely difficult to learn, because it has strict requirements on magical power.

And today, Roxy had unknowingly encountered three monsters
