2 Years Later
It had been a long two-years training had become harder not that I was complaining I know they were preparing for threat but still didn't who I didn't think hard on it they would have to tell me eventually. I gained greater control over all my abilities including my magic spell's I recently started to learn how to control the mist so far, I could create illusions there were getting better every day. Nyx had chilled out a lot since moving in she was still sadist but more claim now her and Gaea seemed to grow closer at first, they were awkward around each other but now there a lot closer they actually acted like sister now. That was good for me they were my only allies at the moment so them getting along was very good for me.
''Adamas it's time to train get out here'' shouted Nyx. ''I'm coming'' I shouted back. Time to finish my training for day I'll probably practice more spells when I'm done, I thought to myself.
As I walk outside, I saw Nyx with six shadow like beings standing behind her. ''Your job is to defeat them using as little energy as possible you only use your demi-god powers'' said Nyx. ''Ok I'm ready'' I said.
She gave them the command to attack they without hesitation they took off after me they were moving as fast as me. The first one aimed right for my head with a shadow sword I also conjure a shadow sword and block his attack. Two of them appeared on opposite sides trying swing their swords at me.
I shadow travel to the one who attack me first I appeared from his shadow and stab him in the back gaining my kill. As soon as he dissipated, I received a punch to the face that sent flying toward a tree I use the momentum from the punch to swing off a branch and get higher in the tree I wanted the high ground.
The rest of them started to follow me I created a shadow spear and throw it at the nearest one he dodges as expected the behind him was hit because it was already midair. Two down four to go I thought.
I jump back down since I was more comfortable fighting them now one of them almost surprised me it used the same trick; I used to kill the first one I dodge it by performing a backflip, but the blade did slash my back a little. The other three were right on me about to attack I wouldn't be able so created a barrier to block.
Luckly the barrier was able to handle all three attacks after the barrier dissipated, I tackle one into a shadow I travel too other side of the backyard. I threw it out and throw a shadow knife at his he blocks I close the distant swinging my sword at his chest it evades my attack going for an attack of its on. I block I since an attack coming with my future sight, so I grab his arm forcibly turn him around.
A spear goes right through his chest another one down I drop his body run towards while charging dark energy in my hand. One of them aims its spear at my head I block it with my ball of energy the collision it pushes the entity back toward another getting its way. I took this chance to attack the one still coming towards me
It swung its sword trying to cut my arm off I block it before putting the ball energy in its chest destroying it. Now I only had two left they circle around me as if there looking for an opening, I stay on guard not showing any weakness. They charge at me simultaneously I notice their speed had approved I activated future sight getting ready for the upcoming assault.
There combination attack was almost perfect their movements were well timed, and their strikes were precise but couldn't land a hit I made sure to use only as much energy as needn't to dodge. I continued until I found an opening I stab a dagger into one of their foot locking in place for now. I jump over it aiming a kick at the other one he blocks it then grab me and pushing me to the ground It swings down its sword while holding me down.
I try something I haven't done yet I grab the arm that was holding down and start to absorb it as fast as I can. Before the sword can cut me, I finish absorbing it the shadow enter my body I slightly more powerful afterward. The last one removed the dagger from its foot and charge at me I meant it head we clashed against each other. I summon a second blade of darkness and try to attack it with a surprise attack.
It dodges then kicks me away I shadow travel just as I hit the ground, I shot myself out the shadow at extremely fast speed. I tackle it to the ground putting it in a choke hold while absorbing it. It thrashed around elbowing me in the ribs. I grunt from the pain but continued to absorb it making sure not two loosen my grip. After a moment I finish absorbing it completing the task.
''You did alright your movements are getting better, and your swordsmanship improves every day, but your darkness manipulate still needs work over all good work go take a shower'' said Nyx. ''Alright see at dinner'' I responded.
After I was done taking a shower I walk to the living room finding food on the table but know Nyx or Gaea, I didn't mind Gaea had made me my favorite food pizza. By the time I'd finish eating Gaea and Nyx still hadn't come back I wasn't worried I felt their presence. They were probably arguing they usually argue over little things I got up to check the window to see if I was right. I look out the window and spotted them when I did my jaw drop, they were arguing but I was surprised because they in river naked.
They were shouting at each other, but I paid no attention their words I was hypnotize by their body's. They had similar body types, but Gaea was more voluptuous I see why they had so many children they were practically Un resistible. If I was teenager, I would definitely be hard damn what Aphrodite be like then I thought. As my train of thought ended, I noticed them coming back to the house I waited on the couch for them I had feeling I was going to have important conversation with them.
''Adamas, we have some important to discuss with you'' said Gaea as she sat next to me. ''This is serious so make sure you listen'' said Nyx. ''Alright I'm listening'' I responded.
''You remember what I told you about Chaos'' ask Gaea? ''Yes, I remember she is your and Nyx mother'' I said. ''Eight years ago, she came to visit you she put her power into you because you have a special propose'' said Gaea. I made sure to put on my best acting face ''What why would she do something like that'' I ask?
''You remember Uranus my husband he was able to gain the power of Chaos before he faded, he will awaken in some years stronger than ever. Now this actually shock me ''WHAT!! why did she choose me not one of the other Primordial Gods'' I asks worried to hear their answer.
''If you were Chaos, would you give the type of power to the Gods'' ask Nyx speaking for first time. ''No, but still why me'' I ask. ''Those with the power of Chaos can define fate although not without push back you are the son of the Fates only you can take full advantage of that ability'' said Nyx. ''You're saying I'm the only thing standing between Uranus and total domination'' I ask Incredulously.
''You have us Eros, Aether, Hemera and your mother there will be others as well, but your most important allies will be chosen by you'' said Gaea. ''What do mean'' I ask confused by what she said? Before I explain that I must tell you how you will become a God with the power of Chaos. ''You will go through a metamorphosis like some incest's there will be five phases in total''
''What are the stages like'' I ask my curiosity peak.
''I was just about to explain until you interrupted me'' said Gaea looking at me sternly.
''Sorry continue'' I said looking embarrassed.
The first phase enhances all of a demi-god ability for an example if a demi-god of an average God could rival a child of the big three you already had the same potential as a child of the big three before you receive the power.
The second phase is unique state of being that lies between the divine and mortals your body and soul will transcend its former state. You'll gain abilities base your parent domains and your soul if gain ability that has nothing to do with your parent, then it has something to do with your own domain.
The third phase you will enter a coma and be encased in a cocoon like shell you will stay in that state until you are done transforming. I do not know how long will be encased but when you emerge, you will be like any other god or titan
I do not know much about the fourth phase all mother said was that your power would be beyond the gods. She said you would be more like a cosmic entity but I'm not sure what that truly is'' finish Gaea.
''All the power you have now is not yours along you are meant to choose seven others who will have the same power as you all eight of you will be able to defeat Uranus and his allies'' added Nyx.
I didn't respond I just sat there processing all the information I had just received I was of two minds one half me was excited at the process of becoming a God the other half was terrified I would have to fight superpowered Uranus. I definitely couldn't ignore it he's return would affect gods and mortals alike consider how he treated his own children I doubt he'd be merciful to mortals. Damn there was no way to avoid this the best way to handle this was embraces my destiny at least Fate was on my side'' I thought to myself
''HEY, are you listening brat don't drift off when we are speaking'' said Nyx. ''Sorry I was just thinking'' I said. ''Be easy sister he has just received a heavy burden he's still processing the information we told him.
''Wait you didn't tell me how I could get to the next phases you only described what they are not how to achieve them'' I said. ''I'm glad you caught on to that but unfortunately, I do not know I believe my mother wants you to figure that out on your own.
Of course, she didn't the Gods love to see a struggle I thought to myself. ''Did you have any plans'' I ask? Yes, when you go to camp half-blood, we will start to look for allies, but it might difficult consider my son is on the rise'' said Gaea. ''What'' I responded acting like I didn't know.
''Oh, I almost forgot my son Kronos will also return I've been thinking about Uranus so much that a I forgot about him. You will also have to deal with him, but you'll be fine I believe in you'' said Gaea
I don't respond I just look at her like she is crazy.
