Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Edward Cullin

Anna stared out the window, taking in the night sky. The number of stars visible during the night changed drastically in the last century.

The night air was cold sending chills to her bones. Something was going to happen, it was in the air; too clear to miss. She closed the window cause a thugh sound.

The apartment was completely bare except for the king sized bed in the middle. A fine red muslin was spread over it beautifully. These fine muslins seized to exist many centuries ago. Finer than silk yet softer than cotton. A hollow smile spread across Anna's face. Had she really been thinking of muslin of all things right now?

Maybe she should install a tv or some entertainment to keep her busy. Tomorrow she'll go to school...again.

The sun's rays peaked into the window reflecting off of Anna's pale skin. It truly created a spring atmosphere in the place.

Daniel was not stalking her, well at least he didn't mean to at first. He was curious as to why she would move into this building of all the other ones in the city.

He thought maybe she was a spy or someone looking into him. With the businesses he does; it wasn't the first time someone was after him. But after climbing into the room through the terrace, he lost sight of what he was actually looking for.

There was something about the Silver eyed Snow White that intrigued him. He was attracted to her. He hadn't felt this type of chemistry with anybody else for a long, long time. After all, living for as long as he had, one loses interest even in the best of things....or people.

Looking around the apartment, to put it plainly; it was empty. There was nothing in the room other than that

ginormous round bed she was laying in.

After walking around the place for a few minutes, he found a carry on beside the front door. Was she really going for the typical "vampire" route? How old was she? Many questions swirled around inside his head. Slowly walking back to the room, Daniel carefully sat beside her on the bed. This was really stupid. He shook his head in annoyance. What was he? A stalker?

He carefully inspected the room once again. There really was nothing suspicious around.

"Peep! Peep!" went off the alarm on her phone. Anna groaned, stirred. She lazily got up out of her bed, she would have to hunt today. She had no blood supply in this city. There would be many passer-byes on her way to school.

She walked to the front door and opened the carry on there. It contained one small packet of tomato juice inside a bag of cold gel. She took the packet and started to suck down the blood. She had been too worried last night. Nothing really happened...Anna dropped the packed of cold gel on the ground. On her bed, there was the familiar stranger.

He was relaxed, looking at her with faint amusement.
