Chapter 72 - [72] Hina Is Shocked

"Hina"

What?

The God-Slayer Sora?

The same Sora who robbed the World Government's Heavenly Tribute Gold from G8 Fortress?

The moment the Marines heard his name, cold sweat broke across their backs. In a panic, they scrambled to their stations.

But in the very next second—

Sora's figure transformed into a bolt of lightning and landed directly on the deck of the battleship, startling the nearby soldiers.

"Pr-prepare Sea Prism Stone weapons!"

"He's a Devil Fruit user!"

The officer barked orders, trying to maintain composure. Though terrified, he and the surrounding Marines quickly encircled Sora, hoping to stall him until Captain Hina could arrive.

"Heh... You still have the will to fight?"

"Looks like Hina's been training her subordinates well."

Sora glanced around. Though their faces showed clear fear, these Marines still stood their ground. He couldn't help but offer some praise.

Then, he stepped forward.

A crushing aura exploded from his body, flooding across the deck like a tidal wave.

BOOM!

Slam! Slam! Slam!

One after another, the Marines collapsed, foaming at the mouth—instantly knocked out by his Conqueror's Haki.

Within moments, only three Marines remained standing on the deck, wide-eyed and trembling.

"Now that's what I call potential."

Sora gave a nod of approval to the officer and the last two conscious soldiers.

He respected Marines who held firm to their sense of justice, even in the face of overwhelming power.

"Keep training. Serve your justice well."

With that, he vanished and reappeared behind them, knocking the trio unconscious in an instant.

BANG!

Just then, the door to the ship's interior burst open—and out stepped Hina, dressed in sleepwear.

She froze at the sight before her.

She'd rushed out of her quarters the moment she heard the noise on deck. Yet not even half a minute had passed, and already nearly every Marine lay unconscious.

"Conqueror's Haki..."

"Hina is... very shocked!"

Her sharp eyes locked on Sora. She instantly knew what had happened.

Sora gave her a once-over and smiled.

Her long pink hair flowed freely behind her. A skin-tight pink-and-white nightgown hugged every inch of her perfect hourglass figure. Her long legs and cold, confident aura only added to her allure.

Sora felt a burning urge to claim her.

"I do possess Conqueror's Haki," he said. "And this time, I've come here... for you, Miss Hina."

"Hmph!" Hina snorted coldly. "If you want to abduct me, you'll have to earn it."

She'd heard the rumors. The God-Slayer Sora had a thing for princesses and beautiful women.

And now, hearing that he came specifically for her—she understood his intentions instantly.

Hina was confident in her own appearance.

But while she spoke boldly, she knew full well that she wasn't a match for Sora. A pirate worth 1.5 billion Berries wasn't someone a Navy Captain like her could handle alone.

Still, she tried to stay calm, weighing her options.

But with her crew knocked out and the battleship damaged and immobile, what options did she have?

"Miss Hina, how about we make a bet?"

Sora grinned, clearly pleased by the sight of her. He didn't want to use the same harsh methods he used on Kalifa. He genuinely liked Hina's strength and elegance.

"A bet?"

Hina frowned, not sure what game he was playing.

"We'll both refrain from using our Devil Fruit powers and settle this with pure physical combat."

"If I win, you'll follow me—obey my commands from now on."

"If I lose, I'll follow you and do whatever you say."

He looked her dead in the eye, serious.

In his mind, without using any Devil Fruit powers, he could easily overpower Hina with pure martial skill.

After all, she was only a captain. Even with her Devil Fruit powers, her combat level was roughly four stars.

And if powers were included, she'd stand even less of a chance—he could defeat her with the Rumble-Rumble Fruit alone.

So he believed it would be an easy win.

He really is here for my looks...

Realizing that Sora was holding back out of desire to impress her, Hina narrowed her eyes. She sensed an opportunity.

With a smirk, she said mockingly:

"You're supposed to be a top-tier swordsman, right? So what difference does your Devil Fruit make?"

"If you're truly confident, ditch the swordplay too. Let's fight while both wearing Sea Prism Stone cuffs."

"If you agree, then I'll accept your wager."

Sea Prism Stone shackles suppress a Devil Fruit user's powers and weaken their physical strength.

In Hina's view, that would make this a fair fight. Even if she lost, it'd be on even ground.

But when she mentioned him being a swordsman, Sora felt a flicker of guilt.

He often taught Nami and Robin swordsmanship... but truthfully, his skill was only at a two-star level. Far from what the media portrayed him as.

So her proposal to ban swordplay was actually no big deal to him.

And the Sea Prism Stone cuffs? Also not a problem.

Thanks to his genetically enhanced body and modifications from the Lineage Factor, he had superior physical attributes and latent powers.

Even if his strength were dampened, he'd still be stronger than Hina.

Plus, Reiju was watching from the Ark Maxim above. If he somehow lost... he could just overpower her later and save face.

There was no way he could lose.

So, standing in a position of absolute confidence, he nodded.

"Miss Hina, I accept your conditions."

"Let's begin."

"Hmph." Hina scoffed, pulled on a pair of thick gloves, and walked to a supply room. She returned with two pairs of Sea Prism Stone cuffs, tossing one set at Sora's feet.

Clack!

Both of them shackled their left wrists.

Sora immediately felt the change—his body heavier, his strength dampened. But thanks to his superhuman physique, he didn't feel helpless.

The stronger the person, the less Sea Prism Stone weakened them.

Just like Kaido of the Beasts—he could be captured by ordinary Marines, but they still couldn't kill him. His body was too tough.

Across from him, Hina also showed signs of fatigue, but she remained composed. She had known exactly what she was getting into when she proposed this.

Then, Sora pulled out his advanced combat suit and smirked.

"Miss Hina... you're going down this time!"
