"You're not getting too close to him again," Mark's stern voice cut through the air, his eyes narrowing as he watched her take a step back, her eyes widening in surprise. They were standing in the grand foyer of their family estate, the sound of their voices echoing off the high ceilings. Mark's jaw was set, his expression unyielding.
"Why?" Gina asked, her voice barely above a whisper, but he just shook his head.
"You don't need to know the reason why. Just stay away from him, that's all." He crossed his arms over his chest, his gaze never leaving here.
"Daniel is part of this family, and when I said you should go out and find a man, I didn't mean my cousin."
