Just as class was about to begin, a voice suddenly echoed throughout the academy:– Student Alaryc is summoned to the principal's office immediately.
His friends exchanged surprised glances. Alicia spoke first:– Do you think it's because of yesterday's explosion?
Alaryc shrugged, looking puzzled.– I don't know, but I'll find out.
He left the classroom under his friends' worried gazes and headed toward the principal's office. Upon entering, he found the principal, an elegant woman with long silver hair and bright eyes, seated behind a grand desk. She smiled and motioned for him to sit.
– You called for me, ma'am? Alaryc began, a bit nervous.

Alaryc's eyes widened.– How… How do you know? he asked, stunned.
The principal smiled joyfully.– Because I can fuse elements as well.

– Welcome to my Arcan Domain, she replied with a smile. When you are able to fuse the four original elements, you too will be able to create your own Arcan Domain.
Alaryc's eyes sparkled with excitement.– Will you teach me?
– Patience, young one, she said. First, I need to assess your combat aptitude.
She snapped her fingers again, and an immense training ground appeared.– Here, you don't need to worry about time. In my Domain, time flows much more slowly than in the outside world.
