Finished with checking my improvements, I could finally relax and have a drink. Alcohol had an effect on me, so I could enjoy something.... But there wasn't much time for alcohol, so after watching TV, I headed back to the basement. I had some unfinished business, I didn't want him to die of loneliness.

When I returned, I put on my apron, as I always did, and began to prepare the preparations. The piper was awake, and when he saw what I was doing, he mooed and twisted. It was like something out of a horror movie, huh.

I looked at him and said:

«Sorry kid, it's nothing personal, I've gathered a lot of information from the girl, now I need to confirm one more thing. You're the best specimen for this, but I'm not really interested in your abilities. You have a hearing problem, but I have something else. I'm sure you'd do the same if you could get rid of the ear pain.

I really wasn't interested in his powers. Maybe just the weakened version of them. Apparently, I'd taken the girl's powers, though not completely, but it was definitely more than fifty percent. If I'd known all this before, I would have just taken Tony's body and gotten more brain. In about fifteen minutes, it was doable..... but I didn't know, so there's no point in regretting it, and there's nothing to regret, I'm happy with what I've got.

If I were to do the same thing to Dudozhnik as I did to Peekaboo, I might adopt his affliction of severe ear pain from loud noises. So I'm going to test the nutrition and bone marrow efficiency loss time on him as well. Plus, I wanted to test something else, and he was the best candidate for it.

My words made the guy panic even more and he started acting too brazen. I don't intend to talk to him anymore, so I injected him with a strong dose of Anesthetic and he quickly passed out. Brutal, but there's no turning back.

I decided to choose a different method and not amputate anything. I could get bone marrow without it, and I wasn't interested in the nutrition of other body parts right now. I'll test it on him later, I need him at his best right now. It went pretty much the same way with Peekaboo, the results were identical. The guy was still alive, so I started the last procedure I was interested in.

A normal human could survive the loss of half a liter of bone marrow without a problem, but I'd been siphoning a little more than that from Black and Tony. I wondered if a meta-human could survive a similar procedure, since Rust and Multiplex were dead. If so, it would open up a lot of possibilities for me. After all, if I can take bone marrow without harming the meta-human, then I won't have to kill some important people. Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, it's stupid to take their lives, they're more useful alive, but I couldn't ignore their abilities. They haven't awakened them yet, or you could say they haven't gotten them, but that's for now... Barry, on the other hand, could be useful to me very soon, I just need to get rid of Thawne and I can relax.

So I started the test on the Strangler, even though I would get some of his powers, it wouldn't compare to Peekaboo. I didn't just get a strong weakened version of Black and Tony's powers, I rather got ten to twenty percent of their powers, which is very little. It would be the same with Hartley, so there was no need to worry about hearing problems, although, the risk was there, but I was willing to take it. A hundred or two hundred milligrams could be fatal to a person, and I couldn't find any information on how much a person could survive. So I'd have to test it myself...

After puncturing and weighing the fluid, I came up with exactly six hundred milligrams, adding it to what I'd already taken from him, it was exactly seven hundred. Then I checked the condition of the Dudozhnik, he was still alive, but that's for now.... I'll check his condition a few more times, now I'll take the brain.

After drinking all the liquid from the vial, I lay down on the other table and waited. After a few seconds, I felt dizzy and dizzy, my eyes and ears ached, my body shook, and then I blacked out.

When I woke up, I looked at the time... Not bad, almost six hours, it had been longer before.

The piper was still asleep but alive, that's good. I checked his condition, it was quite good, he was a little pale, but I thought he would live, that was good.

Hmm, what am I supposed to do with him? I don't need him anymore, and I'm not hungry. Let him go? No, I don't think so, he saw my face... But even if he did, so what if he did? Eh, you shouldn't have woken up... Letting him go was stupid, with his brain he could easily draw a sketch of me or something, and I don't want that. He could interfere with my plans or worse. He had a grudge against me, so he'd probably want revenge or something. But killing him was pointless too, you shouldn't kill someone unnecessarily. And he was a good test subject, so I'll leave him alone. I've got a few spare rooms in the tunnel, one of which I can set up as a temporary dungeon. I'll be hungry in a few days, he'll be good for that. I'm not going to keep him for long, but as a snack for the future, he's fine.

After that, I checked the door for security and brought a bed and some food into the room, changed the locks, fixed the lights and installed a security camera. I think there used to be some kind of warehouse in here... After that, I took the kid in there and locked him up. I didn't take his hearing aid from him, with Cisco's remote I can disarm this guy any minute, and with the camera I can monitor his actions, so it wasn't necessary.

Next, I decided to test my newfound ability, and I had no problem with it. There was no pain, but rather a slight tingling sensation when I focused on my hearing. I couldn't pick up radio waves, but I could hear much farther away than before. I also felt some strange vibrations in the electronics and could distinguish them. I couldn't tell the frequency, but I could tell if there was a wiretap or a camera somewhere. This ability was a good addition, not only to my hearing, but it could also help me protect myself from spies.

It was time to talk to Caitlin, we didn't have an appointment, but it was still worth talking. I need to tell her about Firestorm, because Dudochnik couldn't do it, so now it's up to me. I don't want to break canon drastically, it could end badly, plus I promised her I'd tell her about it.

It'll be morning in a few hours, then I'll move out...
