Chapter 24 - Titan's Clash

Kenjiro's POV

All Might's eyes locked onto mine, blue fire burning behind them. "Stay back, young Kenjiro. This fight is beyond you."

I scoffed, rolling my shoulders. "Yeah? Tell that to the crater I just left in your little science experiment."

His jaw tightened. He wanted to argue—I could see it. But there was no time.

Nomu was already moving.

"Fine," All Might gritted out. "But you follow my lead."

I smirked. "Try to keep up."

All Might blurred.

"CAROLINA SMASH!"

His fist cracked into Nomu's gut with enough force to level a building. The shockwave alone sent dust exploding outward in a ring—but Nomu didn't budge.

Shit. Shock Absorption.

Nomu's fist whistled through the air, aiming straight for All Might's ribs—

"Not happening."

My arm swelled, mochi compressing into a massive, spiked maul.

"Mochi Hammer!"

CRACK.

The blow slammed into Nomu's temple, snapping its head to the side. It didn't flinch, but the distraction gave All Might an opening.

His next punch rocked Nomu's jaw—still no effect.

"It's not working!" Izuku's voice rang out from the sidelines, frantic. "Nomu was designed to—"

"—fight All Might. Yeah, no kidding," I cut in, dodging a backhand that would've taken my head off even though it will phase through. "But Shock Absorption has limits."

All Might's eyes narrowed. "Then we exceed them."

All Might grabbed Nomu.

One second, they were standing.

The next?

"TEXAS SMASH: REVERSE SUPLEX!"

The ground exploded as All Might slammed Nomu headfirst into the concrete, the impact cratering the plaza. Dust billowed up in a massive cloud, obscuring everything—

But I felt it.

Kurogiri's mist twisting in the chaos, reaching for Nomu.

"Oh no you don't—!"

I shot forward, my arm elongating like a whip, mochi hardening into a blade's edge.

"Mochi Cutter!"

A high-frequency vibration thrummed through my limb as I slashed downward—

SHINK.

Nomu's body split at the waist, the half buried in the sand separating from the half in All Might's grip.

Silence.

Then—

"HOLY CRAP!" Mineta's shriek echoed.

The dust cleared.

All Might stood there, holding Nomu's severed upper half. The creature's beady eyes blinked, confused, as its legs twitched uselessly in the sand.

Across from us, Kurogiri's golden eyes widened.

Shigaraki?

He was seething.

"YOU—YOU BRATS! YOU RUINED IT!" His fingers clawed at his neck, drawing blood. "NOMU WAS PERFECT! HE WAS SUPPOSED TO KILL YOU!"

All Might tossed Nomu's torso aside like garbage. " You better," he growled. "No one kills me."

I cracked my knuckles, grinning. "And no one kills my classmates."

Izuku's eyes darted between us, relief and awe warring on his face. "They… they did it…"

Kirishima whooped. "HELL YEAH THEY DID!"

Steam curled off All Might's shoulders like smoke from a dying fire. His muscles twitched, his breathing ragged.

He's out of time.

But he didn't let it show.

"YOU'VE LOST," All Might boomed, voice still thunderous despite the strain. "SURRENDER NOW, AND YOU MAY YET LIVE TO SEE A CELL."

Shigaraki's fingers clawed at his neck, his red eyes wide behind the hand mask. "N-No… Nomu was supposed to—!"

Kurogiri's golden eyes flickered, analyzing. "Tomura Shigaraki… look closer." His voice was a low, knowing hum. "He's weaker than we thought."

Shit.

They weren't buying it.

Shigaraki's panic twisted into something uglier—hunger. "You're right… He's barely standing!" His fingers flexed. "We can still kill him!"

They lunged.

And I moved.

My body shot forward, mochi hardening into a massive hammer mid-swing. "Mochi Hammer—!"

Kurogiri's mist warped, twisting unnaturally. A dark portal opened inches from my face—Shigaraki's hand lunged out, fingers splayed.

Decay.

I liquefied on instinct.

Shigaraki's fingers passed through my reforming face, his eyes widening in shock. "Wha—?!"

"Bang!"

A gunshot cracked through the air.

Shigaraki howled as a bullet tore through his arm, blood spraying.

"Stay down, villain," Snipe's voice drawled from somewhere above.

Chaos erupted.

Pro Heroes flooded the plaza—Cementoss raising walls, Vlad King's blood whips lashing out, Snipe's bullets zinging through the air.

Shigaraki screeched, clutching his bleeding arm. "Kurogiri—GET US OUT OF HERE!"

Kurogiri's mist swirled, but Thirteen—battered, barely conscious—raised a trembling finger.

"Black… Hole…!"

The vortex sucked at Kurogiri's form, slowing his warp.

Not enough.

But I wasn't done yet.

"You don't get to leave empty-handed," I snarled.

My arm vibrated, mochi sharpening into a high-frequency blade.

"Mochi Cutter!"

SHINK.

Shigaraki's scream was priceless as his left arm separated from his body, hitting the ground with a wet thud.

"MY ARM—!"

Kurogiri's mist surged, swallowing them both before I could strike again.

Gone.

But not without a souvenir.

The remaining villains didn't stand a chance.

Within minutes, the pros had them rounded up—cuffed, unconscious, or groaning in pain.

Kirishima bolted toward us, eyes wild. "All Might! Kenjiro! You guys okay—?!"

Cementoss's wall shot up in front of him, blocking his path. "Stay back, young man. They need medical attention."

Kirishima blinked. "But—"

"Gather your classmates by the exit," Cementoss said firmly. "Now."

Kirishima hesitated, then nodded, darting off.

The second he was gone, All Might's form convulsed.

Steam exploded off him, his muscles deflating like a popped balloon.

In seconds, the Symbol of Peace was gone—just Yagi Toshinori, gaunt and bloodied, swaying on his feet.

Cementoss didn't flinch. "I'll conceal you both. The infirmary—now."

All Might coughed, blood speckling his lips. "Thank you…"

I rolled my shoulders. "Speak for yourself. I'm fine."

All Might shot me a look. "You fought Nomu."

"And won," I shot back.

Cementoss sighed. "Just move."

The warp gate spat them out onto cold concrete.

Shigaraki collapsed, writhing, his severed arm still dripping. "AAAGH—THEY CUT IT OFF! THEY CUT IT OFF!"

Kurogiri's form flickered, strained. "I… could not retrieve Nomu."

A screen flickered to life in the darkness.

"A setback," a smooth, distorted voice mused. "But not a failure."

Shigaraki snarled. "The intel was WRONG! All Might wasn't weak—he had help! That brat with the—the stupid mochi Quirk—!"

"The report wasn't false," the voice replied. "You were simply… overzealous."

A second voice—deeper, rasping—chuckled. "Next time, child… think."

Shigaraki's breath hitched. "Next time…?"

The first voice hummed. "Gather the villainous elite. When the time comes… the world will fear you."

The screen went black.

Shigaraki's remaining fingers clawed at the floor.

"Kenjiro…" he hissed. "I'll kill you."
