I wanted to believe everything would be alright. But since I was unconscious, the zombies weren't going to leave me alone. My Grandma started dragging me away from the zombies, who were getting to feisty and close to us.
Going to her empty grave, Grandma tossed me inside of her empty dug up grave. I tried so hard to wake up. But no matter what I did, there was nothing I could do. Everything was blank. The zombies were grunting and groaning around Mrs. Treat at the grave.
Suddenly, moonlight shined a path of light on Grandma's glowing purple jewel. Making it shock her. Taking off the purple jewel quickly around her neck, Grandma tossed the jewel into the her grave, where she had thrown me inside of.
"Watch her," instructed Mrs. Treat to the zombies. "The shadow monsters will come to get her and take her away to the Goblin King of Everybody. To his Goblin Underworld Kingdom. Where they make you his princess of darkness," she said.
They surrounded my grave I was unconscious in. Blocking out the moonlight, I was covered in darkness. I felt black little bugs crawling over my body. I knew I wouldn't last long in the grave I was in.
"Okay, I'm going to look for the Goblin King of Everybody in the forest of forgotten reality," Grandma said to the dimwitted zombies around her. They nodded and turned back to look my unconscious body in the grave, where they would not take their eyes off me.
Before Grandma walked away out of the graveyard, Harold, the goblin boy interrupted her. She stopped and turned around to the goblin kids' attention. Looking at Harold, he handed her a book in his green, warty pudgy hands for her to take.
"What's this?" Grandma asked, surprised. Taking the paperback book from Harold the goblin boy, Grandma took the paperback book from him. "I don't think now is the time for a book club meeting," she said, looking at the cover art.
"This is no ordinary book, my lady," said Harold, honestly. Lightning flashed in the dark, stormy night sky. "It is the answer to our prayers. It explains the way to find a weakness for getting the shadow monsters real and powerful. There's a prayer spell in there. It will teach you how to fight against the shadow monsters. Who want nothing more to do than make us miserable," Harold said, smiling.
"I don't understand," Grandma said, sadly. Looking at the paperback book cover again, she couldn't take my eyes off the cover. "Is it supposed to help us get rid of the shadow monsters, for good?" Grandma asked, still looking at the book cover in her hands.
Grandma then, quickly opened the magic spell book in her hands. There were beautiful illustrations in the pages of the text. Trying to read some of the words in the moonlight in the graveyard she was in, the book started to glow.
"Is this supposed to happen, kids?" Grandma asked. She clumsily dropped the magic prayer spell book to the ground. The book continued glowing. As the book opened up by itself from a powerful gust of wind. Blowing open the spellbook, it stopped in the middle of the book.
They all gathered around the glowing magic prayer spellbook. Glowing from the light of the full moon, a blast of shadowy smoke arose from the magic prayer spellbook.
Shoving them aside, as they fell to the ground, a shadow monster emerged from the pages of the magic prayer spellbook in front of them! It was eager to get out of the book. Pushing with his strong, arms out of the pages of the magic prayer spellbook, the shadow monster's eyes glowed bright red. It howled at the full moon.
The hungry, angry shadow monster with a bad attitude leaped out of the pages of the spellbook. It snatched up the magic prayer spellbook, and looked at my unconscious body in Grandma's grave I was still in.
Turning back to growl and slobber at my Grandma, the shadow monster took possession of my unconscious body in the grave. I suddenly, opened my eyes. Which glowed black and haunted me. I started floating above Grandma's grave I was in.
Out of the grave, I turned away from Grandma and the two goblin kids. They were excited I made some progress with a living creature inside of me. I turned and looked at Grandma's glowing purple jewel she wore around her neck.
I started to swipe it away from my Grandma. But a blast of light coming from the big, glowing full moon in the sky zapped my hand away from her.
Taking the glowing, magic prayer spellbook in my hand, I quickly ran out of the graveyard as fast I could go. I didn't stop to look back at my Grandma or the two goblin kids. Expected them to come after me.
As I finally made it to the closed gate to the graveyard, I looked at the locked paddle on the gate before me. "Great," I muttered, disappointingly to myself.
Suddenly, out of the darkness of the graveyard. An elderly graveyard caretaker appeared out of nowhere. He startled me, making me jump out of my skin.
"Hello miss," he said, his voice full of hope and concern. "What brings you here in the middle of the graveyard at night, by yourself?" He asked, not taking his eyes off me.
Holding the magic prayer spellbook close to my chest, I didn't want to talk to this stranger. "No need to be afraid of me, young miss," he promised me. But I wasn't ready to do anything he tell me to do.
"I want to go home with my Grandmother," I said, softly. The elderly graveyard caretaker chuckled and smiled at me. "I'm serious. I don't like what's happening here in Supernaturalville," I continued, honestly.
Taking a hand around my shoulder to comfort me, the kindhearted graveyard caretaker backed me away into the graveyard. "I'm serious, sir," I said. "I am worried about my grandma. She could have called the cops already on me to search for me," I said.
The kind, and gentle caring graveyard caretaker chuckled and laughed, nervously. "I'm sure you're grandmother will be fine. Make yourself at home, here in the goth graveyard. You belong with us now," he said, smiling.
I angrily dropped the magic prayer spellbook to the ground in front of me. A powerful gust of wind blew open the pages of the old book before us. It stopped opening by itself in the middle of the crinkled pages.
The book began to glow in the moonlight. A powerful wind suddenly sucked the graveyard caretaker into the pages of the glowing magic prayer spellbook, and he disappeared before me.
"No!" I screamed. I had to get out of here. Grabbing the spellbook off the ground, I opened the book to look at what happened the graveyard caretaker. But he wasn't anywhere to be seen in the book.
Turning to the locked gate in the graveyard, I shouted out for somebody to come help me. That's when the slow moving zombies, started coming my way.
I couldn't let the zombies do anything to me. I was desperate for some kind of explanation to get the zombies to go back to sleep. Maybe there was something in the magic prayer spellbook to give me answers.
As I opened the book, it started glowing. And floated out of my hands. And started flapping it's pages at my face. I backed up against the gate to the graveyard.
There had to be a way out of here! If only I could get everything to stop happening at once...
Suddenly, the shadow monster in me made me float in the air. And somersaulted over the gate and landed on my feet behind the closed gate.
Turning to look back at the graveyard, the zombies were trying to reach out of the gate with their arms outstretched to grab for me. As I stared back into the foggy forest, I had no choice but to run all the home.
One of the decayed zombies, grabbed hold of the glowing, floating magic prayer spellbook in its grasp. Taking the book in his hands, he opened it.
The book continued to glow, as his zombie buddies surrounded him. Reading some words from the spellbook, the zombie used his hand. To zap a bolt of electricity at me.
I got zapped by a powerful bolt of electricity went through me. My body shook and quivered. I started to float in the air again. And floated above the gate to the closed graveyard.
Where I made my way to the zombie gang. Who were happy to see me there again, with them. "Emma, you are going to be one of us!" said the zombie boy, who held my magic prayer spellbook in his hand. "You'll like being undead! It's so much fun!" he explained, happily.
Still floating in the air, I couldn't believe I was going to get in so much trouble when I get to the afterlife. Then, the magic prayer spellbook glowed and opened up to the middle of the book.
And a strong gust of wind, sucked me inside of the magic prayer book. Where I disappeared altogether...
