Severin felt coldness in his heart. The thing in his body was none other than the seed that was ripped free from the monster that nearly destroyed the world.
He controlled his breathing, looking away from the Shadow Lord. He used his Etherion energy to internally scan his body, but he saw nothing. "What is the seed doing outside then?"
"Do you think the seed would still be stored together with the body? It was put outside this place for its safety, but now it is here, and I will devour both!"
Severin's breath quickened. He did not like how everything was going out of his control fast. Since he arrived, he had been pulled in different directions while he did his best to steer well in the current.
And now a seed was planted in him?
But none of that showed on his face as he said, "It must have been difficult to find the seed outside."
