Prince Alexander was momentarily unable to process Odette's statement. He noticed that her gaze had changed from the shy woman whom he met at the garrison yesterday.
She looked more calm and collected, with a depth inside her eyes that even he couldn't read.
After reintroducing herself, Odette had become a completely different person.
And yet, Prince Alexander wasn't turned off by that. He was shocked, and curious, but the interest and fondness in his heart only grew bigger, hotter, and bolder.
Odette almost laughed seeing the stupid expression the prince was making right now. But she understood that it must've been difficult to comprehend immediately, since she acted very reserved and mellow before she showed her magic.
