There was a deep forest after passing the barrier. Up ahead, Odette could see a beautiful palace at the end of the forest, meaning that Sir Ymir wasn't lying when he said he wanted Odette to hide and blend in the human kingdom where His Majesty couldn't find her.
"This will be the only time you can pass through the barrier by walking through the river stream. Remember to always jump towards the lake, and swim to pass the barrier after thirty days, understood, Milady?" Ymir warned.
"I-I understand. I will keep it in mind," Odette nodded.
"Now go, before His Majesty notices that you're missing," Ymir urged.
However, Odette didn't move an inch from her position. She kept staring at the barrier for a while until Ymir called her, "Milady?"
Odette turned her head towards Ymir, and the latter was surprised to see that she was crying.
"What's wrong, Milady? Are you hurt?"
