The cat maids hugged for the last time before they parted ways.
Rori stood right in front of Lady Odile's room while Ruru walked towards the maid quarter, ready to pack some of her belongings, and went with His Majesty to accompany Lady Odette.
"Be sure to talk to me often, Sis. Being separated from you makes me very nervous…" Ruru said before she walked away.
"I will. Now go, you shouldn't let His Majesty wait for too long," Rori smiled and watched as her sister left the corridor.
She sighed as she stood on guard in front of the door alone.
Of course, she was sad that she couldn't be with her sister, but it wasn't her biggest worry.
Rori looked over her shoulder, staring at the door for a few seconds, and muttered, "Please be kind, Your Grace. I don't have my sister in here, and I can't stand having a cruel mistress."
The cat maids had been serving His Majesty's mate and all of her incarnations for thousands of years together, so this was a new feeling for both of them.
