[3rd POV]
Hearing the question that Wanda had asked her, Raven's eyes widened in surprise. She had only been reading only to get asked if she wanted a job at the new bookstore that she was beginning to like more and more, a bookstore that even had magical books unlike pretty much any other normal bookstore out there.
"Why-why ask me such a thing?" Raven asked, confused at the abrupt question.
"Because you seemed to very much love reading. That, and I don't wish to sound rude or anything, but you look like you could use a job" Wanda said, cringing inwardly at what she had said, as there really wasn't much of a better way of saying it. At least she didn't just directly call her poor or anything, that would have been...a lot worse.
Raven thankfully didn't look insulted, and if anything, just looked...embarrassed. Looking down at her clothing and noticing how worn they were, causing her to sigh.
"I...I apologize for my appearance, but I am not sure if a job is the best idea, not for someone like me" Raven replied awkwardly, understanding why Wanda was asking now.
"Is it because of who your father is? If so I could care less" Wanda replied with a wave of her hand, waving off the concern regarding Trigon. Trigon was terrifying to a regular person, but Wanda was not a regular person, like...at all.
"H-How did you know?" Raven asked in surprise, not expecting for her father to just get brought up like that. She had been hiding the fact that she was the daughter of Trigon the best she could, as it was not something she liked to bring up to others.
Being the daughter of Trigon was not exactly a very fun or safe experience, especially when you've got psycho's, demons, and all sorts of entities wanting nothing more than to use you for their own gain.
"I'm a lot stronger than I look, Raven. Sensing something like the demonic power within you from your father Trigon, is very easy for someone like me. As is stopping any sort of influence the man may attempt to use on you in the future" Wanda responded, as she hadn't really been showing off her power besides the warping of the book shelves.
"Don't say his name!" Raven exclaimed, as even uttering his name could give him influence in this reality. That's how strong he was, powerful enough to literally gain influence just from a name.
"No need to worry Raven, this store of mine is cut off from the rest of reality, even he can't gain influence here" Wanda replied waving off her concerns. This was in fact true, as her shop was completely and utterly unbound from the rest of reality, making it next to impossible to invade or touch, as she ended up getting rid of a true physical form for it, as instead she made the entrances just portals that were completely seamless and pretty much undetectable.
"Cut off from reality?" Raven muttered in confusion.
"It's not bound to the rest of the universe, Raven. Meaning I am the only one who has any sort of influence from it. It would take someone stronger than me to influence this place, and there are very few with such a level of power, your father is not one of them" Wanda replied, as she could only think of like 4-5 people that could realistically do such a thing, and Trigon sure as hell was not one of them.
Raven decided to not question that one anymore, as it sounded rather complicated, instead she asked a more important question.
"Why me of all people? There are others out there that are more suited, more than the daughter of Trigon" Raven asked, looking her in the eyes with her usual seriousness. The embarrassment and awkwardness disappearing from earlier.
"Because you look like you could use it, as I said before. And more than that, I think you'd be a good fit. Also, you look like a huge book nerd like me, making you a better fit than most. As I wouldn't hire someone that doesn't genuinely enjoy reading books" Wanda replied, a soft smile on her face as she noticed the reaction her response had brought out from Raven.
Raven fought back a blush at the words, her pale skin getting tinted with a soft pink for a few moments before she shook it off the best she could.
"So, Raven, will you work for me? You'll get a good pay. And I'll let you stay in the apartment above the shop with me" Wanda said as Raven blinked at the offer.
"Live with you? But isn't that-" "Too much? No, I am a good judge of character when it comes to this sort of thing, Raven, and I know for a fact that you'll be perfect for my bookstore. And I can't see why you can't live with me, you seem nice enough to be a roommate" Wanda said, cutting her off before she went on a rant about how irresponsible that was.
Which to be fair, she wasn't wrong, but still, she trusted Raven enough to offer this.
Hearing the response, Raven breathed in before looking her in the eyes, before replying "I-Could I have some time to think about it?" Raven asked, as Wanda smiled softly.
"Of course, take all the time you need Raven" Wanda replied, as Raven smiled and Wanda decided to leave her be for now, as this was something she had to think about on her own.

Turns out the offer was too good for Raven to pass up, as around an hour later, and a lot of thinking on Raven's end, she had decided to accept the job offer.
The job itself was basically just to help Wanda restock, make the food for the customers, and to man the desk when Wanda was away. The base pay was...quite a lot for the area and time period, at 25$ an hour, which while that was a lot, it was quite literally nothing to someone like Wanda who had infinite wealth.
Raven wanted to say no to the pay, as she was already getting an apartment and home thanks to Wanda, but Wanda was nothing if not stubborn.
So now, the two were walking upstairs to the apartment, walking through the long stairs up to the top, as Wanda showed off the various rooms she had added up to the apartment.
"That's the garden which houses thousands of types of magical crops. That's the potions lab for creation of all sorts of potions and elixirs. That's the aquarium, there's the personal library where my more...personal books are held, that's the meditation room, that's the..." And on and on and one.
Her home had basically infinite rooms, almost like a Tardis from Doctor Who. It was a miniature dimension in and of itself, practically infinite in size and always changing to suit Wanda's needs. All thanks to her own reality warping and a healthy dose of chaos magic combining to mimic the Tardis.
"...How large is your home exactly?" Raven asked as they continued to walk, the only reason she wasn't exhausted was due to her special physiology and the fact that Wanda was making sure she didn't get tired from the walk.
"Hmm, not really sure to be honest. It's always evolving and growing in order to suit my needs, so I suppose it's practically infinite in size? Because more than half these rooms were not here a month ago" Wanda replied, really not knowing. She could use her reality warping to figure it out, but that would be boring and ruin the constant surprises she had whenever she found a new room.
"That is...ridiculous" Raven said with a deadpan as Wanda just smiled, as they finally made it into her apartment, with Raven looking around in growing happiness. The apartment had a perfect amount of space for two people to live in, with another bedroom already being ready for Raven to move in. A room that Wanda had changed while walking up to her apartment.
The room was a dark purple color, Raven's favorite color as she looked around with tears beginning to well up in her eyes, for she was finally receiving a home after so very long. Years in fact.
Turning to Raven, Wanda gave her a soft, warm smile, as she spoke to the teary eyed woman.
"...Welcome home Raven"
