Chapter 24 - Chapter 24 : THE WINNER IS?

The moment the air shifted, Iruma moved.

"Now."

With speed honed through training and instinct sharpened by survival, Iruma lunged forward, his sword singing as it clashed with Sabro's massive weapon. The gym echoed with the sound of impact—steel against steel, fire against force.

The blow wasn't just strong—it was decisive.

With one powerful strike from his Susanoo-arm, Sabro was sent flying, crashing through the upper air like a meteor. He twisted midair, letting out a wild laugh as he landed on a high ledge with ease.

"Hah! That's what I'm talking about, Iruma!" he bellowed, slamming his weapon down with pride.

He's tougher than before… He's holding back less, too.

But the battlefield was far from still.

Agares Picero, yawning and still calm, lifted a hand. The very floor trembled beneath him.

"Territory Magic: Fortress Chamber."

Massive stone columns erupted from the ground, snapping into place. In moments, a grand stone mansion surrounded the core battlefield—impenetrable and vast.

"That'll hold him for a while," Picero mumbled, stifling another yawn.

So he's boxing me in… smart, Iruma noted.

From above, Sabro's portal tore open the sky, dumping down every weapon in his arsenal—blades, chains, polearms, axes—raining destruction onto the newly summoned mansion.

Inside, Iruma stood unfazed, his Rinnegan glowing. The Susanoo-arm emerged, blocking the first wave of incoming weapons.

He's trying to crush me before I can act. I don't have time to waste...

Outside the walls, Alice hovered midair, arms glowing with crimson fire. His expression was calm, yet intense.

"I'll defend from here… Iruma-sama."

Flames burst from his palms like spears and shot down toward the defenders.

Kerori squeaked in panic, ice spreading around her fingertips.

"I-I can't hold all that off! I can only freeze one thing at a time!"

She threw up a shimmering Ice Façade around herself and the crystal, the blast of heat melting the edges but not breaking through.

Beside her, Picero raised a wall of stone with a flick of his fingers.

"Flames are nothing to stone," he said coolly, shielding the defenders with ease.

From the flanks, Goemon darted in, a blur of wind and blade.

"I'll break through myself! Picero, leave it to me!"

Meanwhile, in the shadows, Andro Jazz slipped forward, aiming for Purple crystal.

He almost made it—until he froze mid-step, nose twitching.

"Wha—what is this scent…?"

"Aren't you forgetting something~?" came Elizabetta's sultry voice. She stepped into his path, her scent magic flooding the area.

Jazz dropped to a knee, dizzy.

"Ngh… can't focus… magic's… off…"

Allocer stood nearby, arms folded, eyes cool.

"A textbook example. Divide and distract. But what's Iruma's next move…?"

Inside the fortress, Iruma narrowed his eyes.

Now… it's my turn.

The air grew heavier.

He clasped his hands together—and the moonlight flickered within his Rinnegan.

"Devil Moon…"

The very shadows twisted as gravity surged in a fixed point. Glowing orbs of energy swirled around Sabro and Alice's positions as space folded—.

Alice's flames sputtered. Sabro's portal flickered. Both of their magics—neutralized.

The defenders faltered. Jazz was down. Kerori was shaken. Even Goemon hesitated.

And in the silence—

"KYAAAAA! IRUMA-SAMAAAA!!"

"He's like my idol!!"

"Sabro's so cool too—!!"

Eiko Oni was furiously snapping photos, nearly falling off the balcony.

"Every second is beautiful! He's my star!"

Iruma's blade rose.

One move left…Huh..??

Suddenly 4 huge wall were created and make it looks like fortress !??

The fortress.

So many weapons... Is this Sabro's full strength?Demon really are something? Iruma stood within the stone walls Picero had raised, his cloak brushing against the debris-filled air.

Outside, blades clattered against rock, explosions of flame and wind rattling the structure.

Then—

"Iruma-sama!" Alice's voice echoed from above, his silhouette visible through the open ceiling. "Please… hold for just a little longer!"

Iruma smiled faintly, adjusting the cloth wrapped around his hand. His sword gleamed purple.

"Alice... you're incredible." He whispered, then took a breath. But I can't just be here.

--

BOOOOOM!

Outside, a spear of fire clashed against a rising pillar of earth.

Alice flew backwards in a spiral, skidding mid-air as Agares pushed forward.

"You're tenacious, Asmodeus." the earth-user grunted, raising another wall. While floating on his cloud.

"Of course I am. I'm defending Iruma-sama!" Alice spun, fire trailing behind him. "You won't pass me, not while I still breathe!"

Meanwhile, Crocell Kerori bit her lip. Ice spread around her hands, forming another barrier as cracks formed in the last.

"Focus… don't let him get to the crystal…" she whispered. He's too powerful, even without magic he's dangerous.

--

On the right wing, chaos bloomed.

"Careful, Goemon!" Jazz shouted, leaping back as Elizabetta spun gracefully, eyes half-lidded, her scent drifting thickly through the air.

"Oops~ Did I daze you again?" she giggled.

Goemon growled. "My resolve... won't be broken… by sweet scent!"

"Then stop sniffing!" Jazz snapped, tripping over a conjured vine that hadn't even been there a second ago.

Behind them, Allocer watched it all unfold, eyes narrowing.

Distract, divide, disorient... this woman is a battlefield on her own.

He lifted his hand.

"Target her mobility. Goemon, strike from above. Jazz—steal her focus."

"Right!" the two misfits nodded, lunging forward in unison.

---

Inside the fortress—

Iruma finally opened his eyes.

"That's enough."

He stepped forward.

The moment his foot hit the ground—

CRACK!

The fortress ceiling exploded.

"COME OUT, IRUMA!" Sabro roared from above, descending like a comet with a greatsword twice his size.

But Iruma didn't flinch.

He jumped straight up into the sky, cloaked in violet lightning.

They met mid-air, katana to blade, a blast of energy sending shockwaves across the battlefield.

"You finally got serious!" Sabro grinned, eyes wild. "NOW THIS IS A BATTLE!"

"You started it." Iruma's voice was cold, calm.

They exchanged ten strikes in a single second.

Clang! Clang! Swish! BOOM!

From below, students screamed in awe.

"He's flying!!"

"Sabro's sword is glowing gold!!"

"Wait—IS IRUMA USING LIGHTNING!?"

From the Spectator Room, Sullivan leaned forward slightly, lips twitching.

Opera raised a brow.

He's accelerating faster than I expected.

Kalego crossed his arms and sighed.

Huh my student all are Idiot ....

Then he looked toward Sullivan—

And narrowed his eyes.

Chair demon… just how many guests did you invite?

We can see there even more demon arriving?

Teacher Dali, still yelling with a giant grin, spun around with his mic:

"ARE YOU SEEING THIS, BABYLS!? THE CRYSTALS HAVE VANISHED BEHIND ELEMENTAL WALLS!! THE SKY IS A BATTLEFIELD!! IRUMA'S IN THE AIR!! SABRO IS SUMMONING A NEW PORTAL—WAIT, THREE?! FOUR!? FIFTEEN!?!!!"

"AND WHO WILL TAKE THIS ROUND? DARK FEATHER OR GOLDEN FIGHTER?! THE FATE RESTS ON WHO OUTLASTS WHO!!"

---

A hush fell over the arena.

Even as Sabro hovered in the air, his golden portals shimmering like stars, all eyes were suddenly on Iruma.

In the stands, Sabro's younger sister, Silvia, stood up so fast her chair fell backward.

"What... what the hell is that!?"

Ameri blinked, stunned, nearly dropping her notebook.

"I mean… wow." She whispered, eyes glued to Iruma. He's finally going all out.

Down below On the battle ground, even Crocell Kerori gasped.

"T-this magical pressure… it's like the sky is cracking…"

---

Sullivan chuckled under his breath, folding his arms proudly.

Opera's gaze narrowed.

So he's using the full extent of his power now… if thats continue he is eyes will start bleed!

And Kalego… just let out the loudest sigh of the day.

This has stopped being a school match. This is an apocalypse demonstration.

In the air, Iruma raised his hand.

A strange whisper echoed in the wind.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu."

POOF! POOF! POOF! POOF!

Four clones of Iruma exploded into existence beside him, each surrounded by a different aura.

"Fire Style: Flying Flame Dragon." One clone shouted, forming a massive serpent of fire that coiled in the air with a roar.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu." Another intoned, conjuring a liquid beast that spiraled toward the sky, glistening like crystal.

"Chidori." crackled the third, lightning dancing in its palm, shrieking like a thousand birds.

But the final Iruma didn't speak. His eyes burned red and purple.

Suddenly—

A skeleton of pure, radiant energy erupted behind him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

First the rib cage, then the arms, then the legs—until it towered over the entire battlefield.

A full-body Susanoo.

Glowing with deep violet armor and ancient lunar inscriptions, it stood 300 meters tall, casting a titanic shadow across the entire coliseum.

The crowd gasped. Screamed. Cheered.

"THAT'S IRUMA!?"

"IS HE A GIANT NOW!?"

"THAT'S NOT NORMAL MAGIC!!"

Inside the teacher's room, Balam Shichiro nearly dropped his book.

"W-wait, did he just say 'jutsu'?"

Miss Raim, sprawled seductively over her chair, grinned.

"Oh~ I didn't know he had that in him."

I could watch this all day…

Teacher Dali spun around in circles, screaming into his mic:

"DARK FEATHER'S Captain HAS AWAKENED!! BABYLS, YOU MIGHT WANT TO PUT YOUR SEATS ON BECAUSE THE STADIUM MIGHT NOT SURVIVE THIS!!"

High above, Sabro stared at the titanic figure of Iruma's Susanoo.

Wind howled. Energy cracked the sky.

He started to laugh.

"NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!"

"IRUMA!! THIS—THIS IS THE FIGHT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!"

Iruma inside the Susanoo opened his eyes slowly.

"Sabro." His voice echoed, deeper now. "You said you wanted a real rival, right?"

Sabro raised his greatsword.

"I FOUND HIM!!"

The battlefield now raged with dragons of fire and water, lightning tearing across the sky, and one colossal warrior of chakra and energy standing like a god.

The true battle had just begun.

"POCKET MAGIC: FIELD FESTIVAL!"

Clara screamed as her magic exploded across the battlefield.

Suddenly, from nowhere—jerks, meat skewers, cakes, soda bottles, flying vegetables—all erupted from her magic pockets like a chaotic storm. They rained down across the coliseum, clogging the floor, pelting enemies, distracting even the spectators.

"IS THAT A WHOLE DINING TABLE IN MID-AIR!?"

Dali shouted into his mic, spinning with joy.

"BABYLS FANS! WE GOT SNACKS! WE GOT MAYHEM! AND CLARA JUST TURNED THIS INTO A FOOD FIGHT!!"

In the spectator seats, Sabro's younger sister silvia was practically pressed to the railing, eyes gleaming.

"So this… is Iruma…" she whispered.

No wonder big brother calls him his rival. That guy's fighting like a war god!

Students throughout the arena murmured, pointing at the glowing symbol on Iruma's body.

"He's only Rank 3—Gimmel!?"

"Then what are we? Rank trash?"

"That's not Gimmel-level! That's 5 or even 6 -level!"

In the battle zone, Kamui spun mid-air and raised both arms.

"BEAST SUMMON: JUNGLE MAYHEM!"

Ripping out of shadowy circles came snarling chimera hounds, blue-scaled panthers, flying lizards—all dashing toward Crocell and Jazz. Kerori tried freezing them, but they were fast—too fast. One lizard even stole her glasses.

"Give that back!" she shrieked.

Jazz activated his stealth magic, trying to weave through the chaos unseen, but the monsters were hunting him by scent.

And then… it happened.

A deep, ominous light began to glow from Allocer Schneider's chest.

His posture shifted.

His pupils narrowed into slits. His fingernails extended into curved lion claws. His silver hair lengthened into a wild mane, energy pulsing around him like golden mist.

"Beast Magic: LION'S SOUL."

He leapt through the air with terrifying force and—

BOOOOOOM!

—kicked Alice in the chest, sending him flying through the sky and smashing into the battlefield like a meteor.

Dust erupted.

A crater opened where Alice landed.

But through it, Alice's laughter echoed.

"Hah…hahahaha…" he slowly stood, brushing off dirt, eyes burning red.

"Now that's more like it. A worthy fight…!"

With both arms raised, he unleashed his full fire magic.

Flames poured out like rivers. The entire surface started melting, creating red-hot steam waves.

Above, 20 golden portals cracked open.

Swish. Swish. Swish.

Blades flooded the sky.

At the center of it all—Iruma, inside his towering Susanoo, unmoved. A demigod of war.

His three clones stood in the air beside him.

"FIRE STYLE: FLAME DRAGON ROAR!"

"WATER STYLE: LEVIATHAN BURST!"

"CHIDORI STREAM!"

BOOOOOOOOM!

Three devastating elemental attacks flew toward the Golden Crystal, shaking the air like thunder.

"NO YOU DON'T!!"

Sabro roared, wings blazing gold. He dashed in, his body covered in battle aura, parrying the attacks with his own summoned greatswords, barely holding them off.

All eyes were wide. All hearts pounding.

Ameri stood, her chair falling over behind her.

"They're all insane…"

Sullivan grinned.

Opera simply whispered, "He's almost there…"

And Kalego… was done.

Back on the field, Clara yelled, throwing a giant rubber duck toward Sabro.

"IRUMA-CHI! FINISH IT!!"

Iruma inside his Susanoo, eyes burning purple and red, raised his blade high.

"SABRO! THIS IS OUR FINAL CLASH!"

Sabro raised his greatsword with both hands, teeth grinning wildly.

"LET'S SEE WHO STANDS AT THE END!!"

Up in the sky—Iruma's Susanoo loomed tall, its skeletal frame glowing with his own power. His purple Rinnegan and red Sharingan spin with intensity. In one hand, his sword crackled with black energy. In the other, magic from the Ring of Gluttony surged like a flood helping iruma to heal his eyes.

"Amaterasu."

The word echoed through the sky. We can see iruma eyes started bleeding!

A black flame ignited—pure, endless, and cursed. It surged forward like a living demon, heading straight for the Golden Crystal.

"NOT ON MY WATCH!!" Sabro roared, summoning every sword from his portals.

He slashed, summoned, swung—but the black flames weren't cut. They devoured.

Iruma's voice rang again:

"Amenotejikara."

Blink—flash—dash.

In an instant, Iruma vanished, reappearing right in front of Sabro mid-air. His sword clashed with Sabro's greatsword—

CLAAANG!

A shockwave exploded. Sabro was thrown back with such force that his aura trembled.

On the ground, the ice shields shattered. The mountain of earth collapsed. The black flame touched the crystal—

FSSSSSSHHH!!!

It began to burn.

The Golden Crystal cracked, glowing under the curse of Amaterasu.

From the sky, Dali was screaming like a sports announcer:

"IRUMA WITH THE GAINT STRIKE!! SABRO IS STAGGERED!! THE GOLDEN CRYSTAL IS CRACKING—CAN ANYONE STOP THIS!?"

Up in the air, Iruma narrowed his eyes.

Ring- "Dark Magic: Demon Destroyer… Electric Bolt."

Let's end this.

He vanished again—speed-blitzing through the wind, lightning streaks sparking in his trail.

BAM!

He struck Sabro right in the face—not with the blade, but with the guard of his sword. It was like being hit by a bolt of thunder. Sabro crashed into the ground so hard it tilted the entire battlefield.

Alice, still in mid-combat with Allocer, was caught in the quake.

"Whoa—! This force…! Iruma-sama!"

Allocer moved like a lion possessed, dashing forward and striking with clawed fists.

"RAAAA!"

Alice caught his arms, grinning.

"Again, huh? You're persistent—"

WHAM!

Allocer headbutted him, then flipped, landing like a beast on all fours.

On the ground, the chaos peaked.

Kamui's beasts were stampeding across the broken terrain—but…

"IT'S A BUFFET!"

Clara yelled, unleashing a storm of food again.

The beasts stopped charging… and started eating.

Kamui fell to his knees, defeated by his own teammate's snack-time apocalypse.

"Nooo!! I worked so hard to summon them!"

Up above, the Golden Crystal began to splinter further.

CRACK. CRACK. CRASH!!

A fiery explosion lit the sky as the cursed flame finally shattered the crystal into golden dust.

Sabro lay unconscious in the wreckage, barely moving. The battlefield fell into silence.

Then—

"THE MATCH IS OVER!!"

Dali roared from above.

"TEAM DARK FEATHER WINS!!"

A thunderstorm of cheers exploded through the coliseum.

"IRUMA-!!"

Eiko had already filled ten pages of Iruma poses in her sketchbook, sobbing.

"SO COOL—SO COOOOL!!"

Ameri sat speechless, her fists clenching.

I knew it… he's no ordinary demon. He's something else entirely.

Sullivan clapped softly, smiling with pride.

Opera stood calmly, arms crossed.

He's grown again.

Sabro's little sister ran to the railing, eyes wide and misty.

Brother… you lost…

But she smiled, biting her lip.

But it was to him. Your rival. The one who'll make you stronger.

"One day… you'll beat him. And become the next Demon King."

Iruma landed gently beside the broken crystal. His Susanoo vanished into shimmering particles. His eyes dimmed back to blue. He stood quietly, sword lowered, watching the ashes drift into the wind.

Then he smiled—small, warm, and tired.

"That… was fun."
