Adrian Davies' long, slender hand rested on Melody Parker's shoulder, applying slight pressure, causing Melody to sit back down on the bed.
"Where are you going?" Adrian looked down at Melody from above, speaking directly and coldly with an authoritarian tone, "You're not allowed to go anywhere tonight, just stay here and rest well."
Melody refused, "But..."
"But what?" Adrian's pitch-black eyes flashed a frighteningly cold light, and his words carried a hint of gritted teeth, "Do you want to faint again and go find that wild man who took you to the hospital?"
"What wild man? Where did the wild man come from? I'm going back to my own home."
There was no such thing, of course Melody wouldn't admit it.
Besides, it was Barrett Carter who sent her to the hospital, he was her bodyguard, how did he become a wild man?
"It's so late, your health is not good, stop tormenting yourself back and forth." Adrian said as he bent over, directly helping Melody lie back down on the bed.
