Summer Sutton knew that once she went upstairs, nothing good was waiting for her, and she felt a bit conflicted inside.
Hesitating again and again, she ultimately followed him upstairs.
Adrian Walyon walked ahead, entered the master bedroom, and glanced at her in the hallway.
Summer Sutton took a deep breath, and just as she was about to step in, Adrian suddenly grabbed her arm, pulled her into his embrace, and pressed his tall body against her.
Pinning her against the wall behind her, his gaze was fierce, "I'm out of my mind?"
His body was pressed so tightly against hers that it was uncomfortable, like a fire burning in her stomach. "That's just what Sophie thinks."
"Frigid?" He spat out each word with gritted teeth.
"I didn't say that!" Summer Sutton was not used to this closeness, her face incredibly uneasy.
