Chapter 98 - 98

Yang Le used his Tail to wrap around Tony and, seeing that he was motionless, knew that he had already passed out.

This was for the best, saving unnecessary Explanation. Yang Le accelerated and passed through the Portal, returning to the sky above New York once again.

Diving all the way down, just as he was about to hit the Ground, Yang Le came to a sudden stop, kicking up clouds of dust.

With a flick of his Tail, he threw the unconscious Tony onto the Ground. Just as he was about to leave, he saw a large green Guy charging towards him.

With a spin, he dodged Hulk's charge. Yang Le shot two green Light Rays from his Eyes, aiming straight at Hulk.

The thick-skinned and tough-fleshed Hulk never bothered to dodge attacks, so Yang Le didn't mind giving this Earth bumpkin a lesson.

Hulk jumped towards the Light Ray. In his mind, nothing could stop his attack, but this time he miscalculated.

Struck by the Light Ray, Hulk, following Inertia, fell straight onto the Ground.

This was another Ability of Jetray besides super-speed Flight: the Nerve Impact Ray, capable of shutting down the nervous system of organic beings.

This Ray could be said to be quite bug-like. As long as you are an organic being, it can cause considerable Damage to your nervous system. Even if your regeneration Ability is strong, you will be stunned.

Hulk, lying on the Ground, struggled to stand up, roaring continuously. Clearly, Yang Le had caused him considerable Damage, but Yang Le knew that Hulk would recover soon.

"Roar!"

Hulk roared and slammed his right Hand hard on the Ground, finally getting up. At the same time, he also woke up the unconscious Tony.

"Oh! Cough cough!"

Tony was startled by Hulk's roar and accidentally choked on his own saliva. He tore off his Mask and took deep breaths of Earth's Air.

Hulk stopped. Tony's awakening eased his desire to attack. Yang Le, seeing this, did the same. Both of them turned their gaze to Tony.

"Huff... Jarvis?" Tony gasped for breath.

"I am here, sir."

"It's good to hear you talk," Tony struggled to lean against a piece of Rubble.

"Likewise, sir."

"Oh, right, Pepper didn't answer my Phone. Dock her a year's salary." Tony slumped weakly against the Rubble.

"Forgive me for speaking frankly, sir, but you have no right to dock Miss Pepper's salary."

"Thank you for the reminder," Tony weakly retorted.

"You're welcome, sir."

"So, what's the situation now?" Captain America and other Avengers members, arriving late, looked at the triangular relationship in front of them with confusion.

Tony leaned weakly against the Rubble, appearing to be out of mortal danger. Hulk, standing beside him, was warily watching Yang Le opposite them.

"Glad to see you again, Captain," Tony's slumped posture was comparable to Ge Daye's.

"Are you alright, Tony?" Steve walked unsteadily to Tony's side. It seemed that the great battle just now had caused him no small Trouble.

"Oh, I'm fine. Just craving some roast meat. I remember there's a good Restaurant nearby. Why don't we go later?"

"Looks like you're okay." Steve saw Tony still joking around and finally showed a relieved smile.

"Captain," Hawkeye reminded from the side. He was also warily watching Yang Le.

"We have another guest."

Steve had of course noticed Yang Le, but he first wanted to confirm Tony's condition, and with teammates by his side, he hadn't dealt with Yang Le immediately.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you guys," Tony's tone suddenly became cheerful.

"This is a new Friend I just made in Outer Space. I don't know what he's called. He's the one who brought me back to Earth just now."

"I'm called Jetray," Yang Le followed Tony's line of thought and introduced himself. If he wanted to hide his true identity, being an alien visitor was indeed a good Idea.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to speak English," Tony's voice was weak, making people worry if he would fall asleep.

"I don't speak English, but I have a Translator." Yang Le wasn't lying. His English level hadn't actually improved compared to before. After all, the Little Broken Watch came with a translation function, so he didn't need to waste Time learning it.

"This Mr. Jetray," Steve showed a friendly expression, expressing goodwill to Yang Le. Unfortunately, due to the pain, his handsome Face looked a bit strange.

"We are very grateful to you for saving Tony, but we want to know your purpose. This might cause you displeasure, but please understand, after all, we just experienced an invasion from Outer Space."

"Understandable," Yang Le landed on the Ground.

"I'm happy to deal with people like you."

"Thank you for your understanding," Steve breathed a sigh of relief. If possible, he, exhausted, didn't want to cause more Trouble.

"I came with good intentions," Yang Le shuffled on his two Legs to Steve's side.

Although Jetray was an amphibious life form, his two Legs couldn't support him running, even walking was unsteady.

"I know the mastermind behind this invasion," Yang Le dropped a Bombshell as soon as he opened his mouth, attracting everyone's attention.

"Who is it?" Steve asked.

"Aren't you afraid I'm lying to you?" Yang Le retorted.

"If it were something on Earth, I probably would be," Steve shrugged.

"But the Universe, it seems today we know nothing about it. Lying to us won't do you any good."

"Alright," Yang Le grinned.

"This isn't the place to talk. By the way, are you all done with Business?"

"There's still a little Business left. I've already sent the most suitable Partner," Steve said with a smile.

"I think no younger brother wouldn't want to see his older brother. As for a place to talk..."

"I know a good Restaurant," Tony struggled to raise his right Hand.

"Trust me, I really need it right now."

"Director?" Steve helplessly pressed his Hand on the Communication Device.

"Go ahead, I'll handle everything." In this Universe, Nick Fury, although dark-faced, wasn't completely black-hearted. Tony had just saved New York, and he didn't mind granting a small request.

He checked the Restaurant Tony mentioned. It was already deserted and even the Ceiling was gone, but he still had agents set up a large Table and arranged for SHIELD chefs to be there, and checked it inside and out.

Even though they couldn't even find a single intact thing there, of course, he didn't forget to set up SHIELD Listening Devices there.

"The decor wasn't like this last time I was here," Tony said, taking off his Battle Suit at this point. After all, it was out of Energy, and wearing it was just a burden.

He looked at the ruins in front of him and said.

"Hopefully, the Smell of their food hasn't changed because of the renovation."
