Snow covered the trees, a fresh layer was falling as they watched out the window. Ophelia was sipping a cup of coco and munching on a cookie as the big fluffy flakes melted against the window. She was wrapped in a blanket. She stretched and went to stand up.
"Get that butt back on the couch." Gen said, taking the mug from her. "You are on break from writing. Which means I take care of you."
"I'm not even little right now!" She whined as she dropped back on to the couch.
"You sound like you are." Olly teased. "Whine like that again and you'll stand in the corner." She pouted slightly. He sat down next to her and leaned into the back of the couch. She was spending the week of Christmas with them. She had tried to argue but they insisted, she would likely never learn. She made sure she had no articles due. She was thankful not to be alone. She would never tell them that though.
"What are the plans for the 25th? Are we going to cook a meal?" She had brought them gifts.
"We wanted to ask, do you want to do a little Christmas?"
"You didn't." She raised her eyebrow.
"Please don't bet too upset, we both just got really excited. We wanted you to have a good holiday." Olly explains, chuckling a little.
"Really?" The whine escaped before she could control it. She whined again when Olly pointed to the corner of the room. Olly raised his eyebrows. She pouted but walked over across the room anyway. Five minutes later she flopped back on the couch. "Do you feel better?" She pouted at him again. "Does someone need a nap?"
"No," She muttered.
"Then no more whining." He ruffled her hair. "So do you want to be a little christmas morning?" He asked again.
"Kinda…" She admitted. "It would be nice." She glanced at the tree they had decorated. The gifts she brought for them. "Could we open your gifts before that?" She asked, rubbing her hand together. "I want you guys to have a good holiday too."
"Having you here is going to make you really special this year." He said while kissing her hair. Ophelia's cheeks turned bright red, but she leaned into his shoulder.
"I'm more excited than I want to admit."
"How about we do some gifts Christmas eve, then we can tuck you in so Santa can come." Gen added leaning over the couch to give them both kisses on the head. Ophelia stuck her tongue out at her. Olly gave her ear a slightly stern pull.
"Don't sass, Gen."
"Yes sir." She pouted, it did not last as Olly tickled her.
The next day, Ophelia saw an email and her heart skipped a beat. She had sent that article hadn't she? She took a deep breath. She would just quickly run home and send it. She was embarrassed. The email must have errored somehow, she would just write a note explaining she forgot something. It wouldn't take long. Olly and Gen were still sleeping, she could be back before they even woke up.
She made it back and threw open her computer. She quickly sent the fully finished article. She felt her phone buzz and she answered it. She explained she left something and was heading back. She made a small fib about taking the bus and Olly told her he was on his way. She thanked him and apologized for the trouble.
"Have a seat." He told her. Ophelia noticed the change in his tone. "What did you forget?"
"Oh… one of my articles failed to send. So I just needed to resend it." She explained.
"And you took the bus back to your apartment?" He asked his tone unchanging.
"Yeah," Ophelia nodded.
"Ophelia, are you telling me the truth?" He asked as she nodded. "Really? I'm pretty sure the buses aren't running this week. It was why you came over early. So I guess we need to talk about lying today." Ophelia shifted.
"I mean… " She muttered.
"Ophelia, why did you lie about taking the bus?"
"Cause you would be upset that I walked."
"Why is that?" Olly asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Cause it's cold and I live pretty far out." She played with her fingers.
"Yes, was that a good choice?" He asked.
" No… it wasn't." She sighed.
"I think we need to address this little lying habit before it becomes a bigger issue."
"But.."
"No, buts. Do you want the hair brush or the ruler?" He asked calmly. She shifted.
"Do I have…." Olly held up a hand. "The brush…" She muttered not looking at him.
"Corner please." Olly said while standing up. "I'll go get it." Olly returned a few minutes later. "Alright Ophelia, let's have a talk." She walked over and stood next to him. "Why didn't you just tell me? You know lying is something I will give you a spanking for." It had been established pretty early on. She got a couple of warnings for fudging the truth.
"I didn't want to bother you. I wanted to just get it done and get back." She explained. "I didn't think you would even notice I was gone."
"Of course we did, it worried us a little."
"I left a note." She offered.
"Yeah, and I think there was a bit of fib on there too." He pointed out, while tapping the brush against his hand. Ophelia's shoulders slumped. "So I think I will have to spank you bottom for those."
"I understand. So the brush is for lying."
"The brush is for lying." Olly nodded while patting his lap. She took a deep breath and bent over Olly's knees. He adjusted her a little and patted her bottom. "Let's get this started." The first smack was firm. The second was hard, after that Olly started a rhythm that made her whimper. The smacks to her sit spots made her whine. "Taking your pants down, Ophelia." He told her while sliding them down. The first round of ten on her cotton covered bottom caused her to start sniffing. She would feel the harder impact of him cupping his hand as he swatted at an upward angle. "Why are you getting a spanking?" He asked while exposing her bottom for another round.
"For lying and not making a good choice."
"Yes, very good." He left a dark pink handprint on her bottom. Nine more joined soon after. "Alright Ophelia, it's time for the brush." He paused and rubbed her back. "It's going to sting, but I don't want to lie to us, especially if that lie is hiding a choice that wasn't good for you." He brought the brush down. Ophelia's whole body flinches. A short gasp. Another swat and Ophelia felt tears burning at the corner of her eyes. The next two in rapid succession and she couldn't help but shift slightly. Olly adjusted and hushed her, promising they were almost done. Another stern swat and Ophelia was whimpering and apologizing. The final swat had her opening crying. Olly rubbed her back and shushed her. She needed a minute to calm down. Now redressed and sitting on Olly's lap. She sniffed into his chest.
"I'm sorry." She said quietly.
"I know Lia, we just want you to make sure you think things through." He rocked her. "We really care about you and want to make sure you are taking care of yourself right."
"Yes." She sniffed.
"Don't want to end up with coal in your stocking do you?" He teased her with a smile.
Christmas Eve arrived and Ophelia was thankful that they both liked the gifts she picked out for them. They also gave her a wonderful set of books she had been looking for. She squealed in excitement. She explained the plot to them and why she had been looking for them. After presents and coco, it was bedtime.
"Alright bunny, we've got one more thing for you tonight." He held out a new set of pajamas, bright red and covered in pine trees… with a matching pacifier.
Gen had got everything ready for a change.. She shifted while Gen went for her underwear. Olly held her leg up. Gen gave her bottom a few wipes. "Your bottom was a little dirty." She gently scolded Ophelia "Make sure you are wiping well, bunny" Ophelia felt her face go bright red as Gen pulled her cheeks apart and wiped between her cheeks again. Ophelia covered face as Gen wiped the rest of her down. Her bottom and front powdered, she had to lift her legs again for her pull ups. Once dressed in her pajamas Gen pulled her to her chest and patted her padded covered bottom. Gen offered her the pasi which she took. They tucked her into bed and both kissed her forehead. She would admit she was excited for the next morning. She couldn't wait to see what "Santa" was going to bring.
