"Here comes the king".the spokesman said as nathan entered the dinning hall.
"Greetings my king".they all said while standing.
"Greetings".nathan said nonchalantly.
"My king you look very worried".milan said.
"I am fine milan don't worry about me".nathan said reassuringly.
"Where is the queen". Humphrey said.
"She is still sleeping". Nathan said anxiously.
"The table doesn't feel the same without her".louise said as they ate.
"Don't worry about her she needs all the rest she can get".lady Isabelle said smiling.
"Mother I must say you look very excited this morning". prince clayford said.
"It's a beautiful morning". lady Isabelle said smiling.
"Mother I am sure you have planned something big". prince martins said.
"My king greetings the queen is about to leave the mansion".A servant said in a bow as he entered.they all rushed out.
"Nathan I am leaving,I can't stay here anymore".I said angrily.
"Guards sieze her". Nathan said coldly.
"They won't touch me".I said angrily as I picked my sword.
"Ariadne please call down".milan said in fright.
"What's all this drama for". prince clayford said mockingly.
"Let her leave,look you are not welcomed here". Prince martins said.
"My queen calm down".louise begged.
"I cannot stay here".I said angrily.I needed time to myself.
"Stop this drama you are disgracing the royal house".lady Isabelle said angrily.
"I am leaving".I yelled.they were shocked.
"She is insane". prince clayford said while giggling.
"Guards what are you waiting for seize her".Nathan said angrily.
"If they come closer,I will kill everyone".I said while pointing the swords as the guards came close.
"Ariadne you only know how to kill, I am sure you don't have any love in your heart it's is full of hate".Nathan said angrily and I fell down in shock.
"H...ow can you say this t.o me".I stammered.I felt so shattered and broken.
"Take her in lily".Nathan said and they all left.
"My queen you need to pull yourself together".lily cried as she helped me stand.

"My queen please let's go inside".she said and we went inside.
"My king what happened to the queen she looked so shattered". prince Humphrey asked as they sat down at the dinning table.
"Our food was interrupted just now,please let's just eat in peace".Nathan said calmly as he ate.
"My king, queen ariadne is not one to break down like that,she is...."
"Humphrey why are you hell bent on causing trouble and ruining the meal". lady Isabelle said while glaring at him.
"Lady Isabelle, did you not see the state of the queen,well I wasn't expecting you all to be concerned but I am shocked at the king's behaviour towards the queen, Infact I am disappointed". Humphrey said angrily as he stood up.
"How dare you disrespect the king". lady Isabelle said angrily.
"I am simply saying the truth, the king shouldn't have treated the queen in such a disrespectful manner". Humphrey said.
"Guards seize him, throw him in the dungeon until he learns his lesson".Nathan as said angrily.
"I will still not change my stance". Humphrey said as the guards dragged him out.
"That fool is getting audacious by the day, you treated him in the right way and am proud of you son, don't listen to what he says he is just being silly".lady Isabelle said smiling.
"Why did the queen behave like that,has she gone mad".prince clayford asked.
"No she hasn't gone mad".louise said defensively.
"I see that you now support the queen". Prince martins said while glaring at her.
"She hasn't gone mad, maybe the queen is just stressed,she misses her family and wants to go home". Louise said.
"When a girl gets married,her husband's family becomes her new family stop saying nonsense".prince clayford said.
"Can we just eat in peace".Nathan said calmly and they ate the rest of their meal in peace.
We went straight to my new room, I sat on the floor,I was too tired and heartbroken to care about the room decorations or if anyone was watching.
"My queen please brace yourself".lily said as she closed the door.
"Lily I can't stay here anymore".I cried,I was too weak to hold back my tears.
"My queen you are a strong warrior, don't ever forget that". she said as she sat on the floor beside me.
"Lily I hate the king".I cried.I had never felt this immense pain.how can he treat me like trash after what happened last night.

"Lily I can't stay here anymore,I want to leave this place".I cried.

I cried until I no longer had tears in my eyes and I slept off.
I woke up to see lily beside me with food.I was in no mood to eat.
"lily I am not hungry".I said weakly as I sat up.
"my queen you need to eat and gain your strength you look very weak".she said.
"Lily l don't have the will to eat".I said.
"My queen,you haven't eaten all day, you slept at midday and woke up at dusk."she complained.
"I slept for a long time,still lily I am not hungry".I said.and then marie barged in.
"My evil step mother". she cried as she hugged me.
"Marie".I weakly.
"What's wrong with you,when I came back from school I overheard prince Martins saying that you have gone mad and you want to leave and why was your door locked before". she cried.
"Marie I am not insane but I want to leave". I said.
"No please don't go".she cried as she hugged me tightly.
"Marie you are choking me".I said.
"My lady ariadne is a strong woman and not a coward, who dares to mess with you".she said as she freed herself.
"Marie".I said smiling.
"You look terrible please eat,I will feed you".she said.
"Marie I am not hungry".I said.
"You need to eat to stay alive please eat a little". she begged.
"Fine".I said. I eended up eating all the food because of Marie's stubborness.
"Marie".louise said as she knocked the door.
"Lily open the door".I said weakly.
"Greetings lady Louise".lily said in a bow as she opened the door.
"Greetings my queen, marie I told you not to trouble to queen ".louise said in a bow as she entered.
"Mother I am not troubling her stop scolding me".marie said defensively.
"Lady Louise she isn't troubling me but I think it's her bedtime already".I said.
"My queen I want to stay here".she said.
"Marie don't stress me let's go". lady Louise said.
"She might run away".marie said.
"No Marie,I won't run away I promise".I said.
"Good night my evil step mother".she said as she kissed my cheeks.
"Good night".I said smiling.
"My queen please take care of yourself and before I forget Humphrey was taken to the dungeon because he confronted the king about his actions towards you".lady Louise said.
"What,why would the king do that".I said as I stood up.
"My queen please help Humphrey,he was only standing up for you.he didn't say anything wrong".She said worriedly.
"Humphrey shouldn't have done that".I complained,I had already decided that I wasn't going to cross paths with Nathan.
"My queen, Humphrey is still very naive and he gets scared of dark places, the dungeon is really dark please help him". Louise said.
"Fine,I will talk to the king".I said.I had no other option.then I went to the king's room.
When I got there the door was opened. Something felt off, I went inside only to see Nathan soaked with blood and a knife was stabbed in his chest.
