Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

I watched him as he adjusted his necktie. I saw his glance at me, but he quickly looked away. We don't have classes today because it's the weekend.

"Are you leaving?" He didn't answer, so I just followed him downstairs.

He glanced at the food I prepared. Again, he looked at me, but his gaze was cold.

"You should eat. Wait, let me-" I was interrupted when he just walked past me, as if I were a ghost. He's so mean. I looked back at him as he walked out the door and closed it.

I quickly went out to open the gate for him. I noticed his glance at me, but he quickly looked away.

I won't stop until I get to know the real Shuan Arwein Villamor, my husband.

After closing the gate, I went back inside.

I sighed, realizing I had prepared all this for him in vain. I set it aside because it would be my lunch.

I went to his room and took his dirty clothes. I covered my nose as I sorted through his clothes.

I put them in a bucket and carried them downstairs, stopping at each step because they were heavy.

I sat down on a small chair after just putting his clothes in the washing machine, and I will do mine next.

I also filled the basins for my laundry.

While the washing machine was running, I changed the curtains and bedsheets so I could wash them tomorrow.

I got a chair to reach the curtains.

Afterwards, I washed his clothes, panting and sweaty when I finished hanging them up.

I sighed and drank some water.

I wiped my forehead with my arm. After doing the laundry, I cleaned the utensils because they were also dusty.

After finishing everything, I held my back and massaged my shoulders. It's a good thing I know a lot about household chores because Dad taught me.

I didn't realize the time; it's already afternoon, and I'm late for lunch again.

I set the table for myself, and as I was about to sit down, I heard a car engine, so I quickly went out of the house to open the gate.

I felt my stomach growl; his car had already entered, so I was about to close the gate when my vision blurred and the surroundings turned dark.

"Why do you keep neglecting your wife!!!" I heard President shout even though I was inside the room because his voice was so loud. He doesn't really have any fault; I know it's my fault, I skipped a meal.

I just continued eating. I looked at the door when it opened; he sat next to me, so I stopped eating with the spoon halfway to my mouth.

"Are you okay now?" he smiled at me. I just nodded in response.

"Okay, good night," I paused at his forehead kiss before he left the room.

I promised myself that I won't fall for you, but it seems like it's getting closer.

I closed my eyes to greet the smell of what I was cooking. It smells good; I smiled.

I looked back when I heard footsteps behind me.

Shuan, with messy hair and wrinkled clothes, slowly looked at me, but he also slowly looked away.

He sat down, and I hoped he would eat what I cooked. I miss him teasing me.

"How does it taste?" I noticed that there was already a spoonful in his mouth that I didn't notice. He pursed his lips and just nodded.

I was about to turn away... "Aren't you going to eat?" I was surprised by his question.

I scratched my neck and reluctantly sat down, hoping we would be okay now.

As I sat down... "I'm done," he stood up.

I just lowered my head, and soon I felt tears fall. I wanted to look at him again, but he was no longer here.

While sipping the soup, my tears fell into it. Is this how it is when you're pregnant, emotional.

After I finished eating, I cleaned up our eating area alone. My gaze lingered on his plate. He didn't even touch anything.

He's just wasting the food; if Dad were still alive, he would have finished even the rice because of what I cooked. I miss Dad.

"HEY, skinny!" I called out to him, sitting pretty and staring at the television.

He furrowed his brow when he faced me. I swallowed hard.

"What did you say, Fatty?" he grinned, but I just raised my eyebrow.

"You're skinny, I don't like-" I suddenly paused, why do I always compare him to the guys I like. Even if he's like that, I won't like him.

I was about to turn away... "Can you cook more for dinner?"

My lips parted in surprise. I'll cook a lot for him; he must be hungry because he didn't even eat lunch, or maybe...

"Do you have a visitor?" that's what sank in my mind.

He stood up and took the remote control for the television. "No, I'm hungry, can I?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Ah, sure," I quickly went to the kitchen and prepared what I would cook.

"How does it taste?" I asked when he tasted it.

"It's delicious... really," he said in amazement.

I smiled and ate happily now; my week is going well.

Aside from being accompanied by my husband while eating.

I did all my chores... "The laundry!!!" I suddenly said when I remembered the curtains, bedsheets, and pillowcases soaking outside.

I choked, so Shuan immediately handed me water, and I could see the concern in his eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of that," I said as I drank the water, and fortunately, we were done eating.

I winced... "Sorr-"

"It's okay," he stood up.

He might be bipolar; he'll probably be cold again tomorrow. Hmp.
