-----------

The air was thick with the tension of battle. The grand hall was silent except for the rhythmic sounds of clashing metal and the shockwaves caused by the blows that landed with bone-rattling force. Jinwoo stood in front of Igris, his eyes focused, his body poised for the next strike. He felt the power surging through him—each muscle, each nerve, alive with purpose.

He had faced countless monsters before, but this was different.' Igris', the Grand Marshal of Ashborn's Shadow Army, was unlike any adversary he had encountered. He had respected the character while reading the novel he felt the fire of the battle-tested warrior, a being forged in the flames of war. Jinwoo could feel the sheer power emanating from Igris. The warrior was no joke. He was a challenge. And that's exactly what Jinwoo wanted.

[Hah, looks like someone's finally met their match. I can see why you're so excited, Jinwoo. You're finally up against a real threat!]

The System's voice echoed in his mind, but Jinwoo didn't flinch. His attention was fixed on Igris as the warrior moved, his sword glinting in the dim light. The massive Blood red armor Igris wore only added to the intimidating presence he exuded. Each movement was precise, calculated—a dance of death in which Igris's every swing aimed to test Jinwoo's limits.

For Igris, this was a trial. He didn't know who Jinwoo truly was, only that the vessel of the Monarch or the new Monarch was before him. He had been told that this would be a challenge, a way to test the strength of the new ruler.Seeing the opponent Using his bare fists to fight Igris had decided to Fight him fair and square. But feeling the oppressive amount of mana emnating from Jinwoo he Decided to fight him with his sword. But as their blades clashed, Igris quickly realized that he might have still underestimated this foe.

The first strike was a quick slash from Igris, his blade cutting through the air with the sound of a roaring wind. But Jinwoo, with his enhanced reflexes honed to peak by Observation Haki, blocked it effortlessly. His palm met the hilt of Igris's blade, the force of the strike reverberating through his arm. The impact sent a jolt of power through his body, but Jinwoo remained unfazed. The difference in power between them was clear, but Jinwoo could feel that Igris wasn't going to make it easy.

"Impressive," Jinwoo muttered under his breath, his gaze never leaving his opponent. His body was alive with excitement—the thrill of battle filling him.

Igris's eyes narrowed beneath his helmet. He could feel the power in Jinwoo's strikes, but he wasn't going to give up easily. With a swift twist of his body, Igris lunged again, his sword moving in a flurry of strikes aimed to overwhelm his opponent.

But Jinwoo's expression didn't change. He was focused, moving with the ease of a predator. With every slash Igris threw at him, Jinwoo dodged, parried, and countered. His body was a blur of motion, each movement more fluid than the last. He wasn't afraid. He wasn't even worried.

[Oh, that's gotta sting, Igris. Looks like your strikes are barely scratching the surface. Better step it up.]

The System's mocking tone made Jinwoo smirk, but he wasn't about to lose focus. He could feel the power of Igris's strikes, the sheer strength behind each blow. The warrior's attacks were quick, precise, and filled with deadly intent. But Jinwoo wasn't some ordinary opponent. His body was honed by battles as Assasin now equipped with the monstrous strength of garp, his power had amplified by the Seismic Blaze Arts he had perfected. Every time Igris's blade connected with his skin, Jinwoo felt it, but it wasn't enough to make him flinch. He was immune to physical damage but That doesn't mean he was going to take hits.

The battle raged on. Igris's attacks were relentless, but Jinwoo was relentless in return. He closed the gap between them, moving like a storm. His punches, fueled by haki and his Mera Mera no Mi flames, slammed into Igris's armor with such force that the sound of metal crunching echoed through the chamber.

Igris grunted, his posture faltering under the onslaught. He had expected a test, but not one like this. He had never met anyone except the monarchs and Their personal guards who could endure his strikes and retaliate with such force. It was like trying to pierce the core of a mountain with a single strike.

[I've got to admit, this guy is tough. But don't forget, Jinwoo—this isn't just about strength. You've got to win.]

The System's words rang in his mind, but Jinwoo wasn't concerned. He was enjoying this.

Igris's next strike was brutal, his sword aiming for Jinwoo's heart. But Jinwoo sidestepped, Using Void Step, moving with the grace of a shadow. His fist shot out, connecting with the side of Igris's armor with a resounding thud. The ground beneath them trembled as the force of the punch rattled Igris's body.

Crack!

Igris's armor cracked under the force, the sharp sound ringing through the chamber. He staggered back, surprised by the sheer strength of the blow. He had been hit before, but nothing like this. It felt like the impact of an entire storm.

Impressive. Igris thought to himself, his eyes glowing beneath his helmet. He had underestimated the man in front of him. This wasn't just any warrior—this was their future monarch And for the first time after joining Ashborn's army Igris felt Something:"Astonishment".

If the Monarch's successor was this strong before inheriting the monarch's power then what will he be like in the future?,Igris thought.

But Igris wasn't going to stop. No, this only fueled his desire to test Jinwoo further. With a grunt, he shifted his stance, and in the blink of an eye, he dropped his broken sword, pulling out his twin daggers. The change in weaponry was swift and fluid, and the air around them seemed to crackle with energy. He was moving faster now, more erratic in his attacks, relying on agility rather than brute strength.

But Jinwoo was ready. He didn't flinch. He didn't hesitate. His haki was alive, burning through him like a wildfire, and his fist met Igris's daggers with the force of a volcano erupting. With every strike, the ground beneath them cracked, dust and debris swirling around them as the two warriors collided in a deadly dance of steel and flesh.

Igris slashed with one dagger, but Jinwoo blocked it with his arm, pushing forward with a devastating elbow strike that sent Igris reeling. His second dagger aimed for Jinwoo's side, but Jinwoo spun, avoiding the blade and retaliating with a punch that exploded into Igris's Armor.

The impact was so powerful that Igris's armor cracked further, the once-unbreakable plating now showing signs of wear. But Igris wasn't finished yet.

[Well, this is awkward. You've got your strong punches, but can you finish it off, Jinwoo?]

The System's voice mocked again, but Jinwoo's expression didn't change. Instead, he locked eyes with Igris, his own battle-hardened instincts kicking in.

With a roar, Jinwoo unleashed his [Seismic Blaze Arts Form I:Core Impact]

His fist was enveloped in flames. With his mastery over flames crossing 60% threshold now he could control the mini nuclear fission reaction.Haki-infused and crackling with energy. He swung with all his might, and the air itself seemed to bend in anticipation.

Boom!

The impact was cataclysmic.

Igris's armor shattered under the pressure. The sound was deafening as the blast of fiery energy erupted from Jinwoo's fist, sending shockwaves through the room. Igris was hurled back, crashing into the wall with such force that the stone cracked under his weight.

When the dust settled, Igris lay on the ground, panting heavily. His once-imposing armor was in ruins, and his body was battered from the fierce battle. But there was no fear in his eyes. Only respect.

Jinwoo stood over him, his breath steady as he looked down at the warrior who had given him such a formidable fight.

"Not bad, Thank You. I hadn't fought a foe for this long ever since i arrived in this World." Jinwoo said, his voice tinged with satisfaction. "You've got heart. I like that."

Igris slowly pushed himself up, his hands trembling from the intensity of the battle. His eyes met Jinwoo's, and for a moment, there was nothing but mutual understanding between them. Then He fell.

The battle was over, but the trial had only just begun.

--------

As Igris slowly fell, battered and bruised, the silence in the grand hall was pierced by a sudden burst of energy—a voice from the System, now no longer mocking, but full of exasperation.

[What the hell was that?!]

The voice screamed in Jinwoo's mind, frustration ringing through every syllable.

[That was Igris—the Grand Marshal of Ashborn's Shadow Army! I had allowed him to have strength of General rank warrior! Not like in the Anime where his rank was adjusted to match Jinwoo's.And you—you—defeated him without a single bruise!]

Jinwoo chuckled, his breath steady as he wiped the sweat from his brow. He felt the surge of adrenaline from the battle starting to fade, replaced with a deep sense of satisfaction. It had been a long time since he'd fought someone worthy of his full attention.

"Oh, so it was you, huh?" Jinwoo mused aloud, the smirk on his lips widening. "I was wondering what felt off during the fight. In the original world, Igris fought Jinwoo with his bare hands after seeing him not use any weapons. But that didn't feel right at all... Looks like you've been pulling the strings all along."

The System, now fully frustrated, raged internally. It had been a test. A trial. It never expected Jinwoo to fight and defeat the Grand Marshal, a top-tier warrior, with such ease. But now, the System was panicking.

[This was not supposed to happen! You were supposed to be challenged, to feel the limits of your strength! This is... I... I can't believe it.Well What should more I expect from a Battle crazed Maniac who farms tutorial dungeons as exp grounds.]

Jinwoo couldn't help but laugh at the System's outburst. The sense of victory and humor washed over him.

"Well," Jinwoo began, wiping the grin from his face. "Guess that's what happens when you underestimate me. Guess I really am stronger than I thought, huh?"

Just then, a notification flashed in front of him, the usual robotic voice of the System breaking the brief silence that followed the laughter.

[Quest Complete: Defeat Igris, the Red.]

[Rewards:1. "Igris' Red Armor Set" (Rare Tier): Increases Strength, Agility, and Stamina by +30; Adds +20% to Endurance.

2.Rune stone:Ruler's Authority.

3.Instant Escape Stone]

Jinwoo's eyes widened, and for a brief moment, the System's reward felt like a small victory—proof that even this powerful warrior had his limits when faced with Jinwoo's unstoppable might. He examined the armor set and found the stats intriguing. The additional stealth effect (Hide Armor)was particularly interesting, and the boost to his physical attributes was nothing to scoff at.

"Not bad," Jinwoo muttered, nodding to himself. He felt the armor set in his hands, testing the weight of it before mentally deciding. "This might come in handy... I'll keep this one hidden for now."

He stored the set in his inventory, before reaching into the same space and pulling out the armor he had prepared earlier using Aria. The piece was sleek, dark, and tailored to enhance his mobility without sacrificing any durability. It was the perfect counterbalance to the power he had just displayed.

As the armor was secured within his inventory, Jinwoo couldn't shake the feeling That he had missed something. But for now, he stood victorious in the grand hall, facing down the crumpled form of Igris.

Walking towards the rift that had opened, with the rune stone in hand and Jinwoo turned towards Igris and said "I'll Come Back Soon" and crushed The stone..

Author's Note:

Alright, folks, we've finally come to a point in the story where everything is exploding! I've got goosebumps just thinking about it, and I hope you do too. I mean, come on—Jinwoo just took down Igris, the Grand Marshal, without so much as a scratch. Without a single bruise, like a total badass! And that little chat with the System? Priceless. I couldn't help but laugh my head off while writing those lines. It's like watching your favorite character flex their muscles, just because they can.

But seriously, this chapter was an absolute blast to write. The way Jinwoo decimated Igris in this battle was chef's kiss. I loved the contrast between Igris, who had been built up as this terrifying force, and Jinwoo, who is just that much stronger than anyone could have anticipated. It's like he's leveling up in real-time, and we're all just watching in awe (and maybe a little bit of envy). I mean, who wouldn't want a battle like that?

And let's talk about that armor set, huh? The reward is pretty sweet. Strength, agility, stamina boosts, plus a stealth effect? I almost wanted to keep it for myself (okay, maybe I'm the one getting a little battle-crazed now). But Jinwoo, true to his style, is staying cool and storing it away for the right moment. The dude's got secrets, and I love it.

But this isn't just about the fights—it's about the growth, the little moments of humor, the depth of Jinwoo's development as a character, and the building tension with the System. Every punch, every smirk, every laugh has meaning, and I can't wait to see what happens next. There's so much more to come, and trust me, the fun has just begun.

As always, thank you all for the amazing support! Your feedback, your enthusiasm, and your love for this story mean everything. I'm still having goosebumps writing this. I'll leave you with that, and as always, stay tuned—we're about to dive even deeper into this crazy world!

Until next time, keep fighting, keep laughing, and keep reading!
