We had a great moment at the Aquarium and that amazing restaurant that had inside the aquarium it was an amazing experience, especially for Ayu who had the most fun part of this date. Even the food was delicious, I bet Fuuto would have loved this restaurant to eat here now that his testing the food and everything to be a good cocker. But as time went on, and we had a great time, we got out of the aquarium ready to head out home as Ayu was thinking it was time to go home. But there was one place I wanted to take her and that was the park that my aunt Yumi recommended to me to go take Ayu to a secret spot. She told me that the spot of the view is incredible the view. I honestly couldn't wait to take Ayu there, I was even wondering how cool would the view would look; like when we got there.
"Ngghh what an amazing day I had, my first and best date." Said Ayu as she was stretching.
"I'm glad you enjoyed our first amazing date," I said, holding her hand, and looking at her smiling as we were walking out.
"Gosh, I honestly don't want this day to be over, i wanna do more stuff with you, and that's not all. I also wanna spend more time with you."
"Really? I thought that food might have got you tired and you wanted to go home"
"Hey, I'm such a super active person, but like I said before I wanna spend more time with you" Ayu was holding my hand and put her head on my shoulder as we were walking now slowly. As we were enjoying walking on the side of the street road I looked at Ayu smiling at her.
"Well, this date ain't over because there is one more place I want to take you before I take you home."
"Wait? Where?" Ayu was excited wondering where would it be this place that i was going to take her.
"It's a secret, but I'll take you the way there come" I wing at Ayu putting my finger on my lips as I took her the way where Aunt Yumi told me to go to the secret spot park that she recommended me to go take Ayu there, she believed that both of us would love the spot.
As we strolled, I checked my phone using the street address Aunt Yumi had provided to locate our destination. While walking, we stopped at a convenience store where I work to purchase water for Ayu, who had become slightly thirsty after a 15-minute walk. I wanted to assist her by buying her water. Fortunately, the convenience store where I work was conveniently located next to us. This proximity was advantageous, as I was able to take advantage of a 50% discount on any purchases made there.
However, I was hesitant to interact with my partner from work, as I was concerned about his behavior in front of Ayu. His occasional playful and effeminate behavior raised questions about his true sexual orientation, as he identified as straight and expressed interest in girls. This ambiguity made it difficult for me to gauge his genuine feelings.
As we entered the convenience store, a bell chimed, signaling our arrival.
"Hello, good afternoon," my partner greeted us. He abruptly halted his sentence upon seeing us and Ayu enter the store.
"Hey Daisuke," he said, expressing his happiness at seeing us.
"Um, what up, man?" I responded, attempting to maintain a casual demeanor while simultaneously expressing my discomfort with his presence.
"So, the rumors are correct, Daisuke Ito is officially Ayu's boyfriend," he exclaimed, his eyes filled with jealousy.
"Um, who is this person, Daisuke?" Ayu, who had been hiding behind my shoulder, asked.
"He is a friend of mine here at work and attends the same school as us. Unfortunately, I have forgotten his name," I replied.
"How inconsiderate we have been working together for six months," my partner said, a mix of giddiness and annoyance in his voice. He continued the conversation.
"My name is Asashi Ogawa. Yes, I attend the same school as you both, but I am in class 3-B, where I am a junior," Asashi introduced himself.
"In any case, we merely came here to purchase a bottle of water. If you could kindly inform me of its cost, I would appreciate it as I am eager to depart." I stated, expressing my desire to leave promptly.
"Alright, alright… so what are you lovely birds doing out this late?" Akashi inquired, making a peculiar face while enjoying his playful and annoying nature.
"Hey!"
"Okay, okay, I'll stop," Asashi responded, laughing. She eventually became serious and informed me of the water bottle's cost. Ayu giggled, finding our interaction amusing. However, as we were leaving the convenience store, Ayu held my arm, and Akashi, once again displaying his goofy antics, emerged from the store and observed us walking.
"Hey, don't forget to use protection, you two," Asashi shouted, drawing attention from passersby.
"Dude, really?" I expressed my annoyance. Ayu blushed and covered her face, pretending that Asashi's comment had never occurred. Despite spending approximately five minutes at the convenience store to reach the location my Aunt Yumi had recommended, I was curious about the appearance of the spot as we arrived.
"Wow, hehe, what a partner you have, but at the same time, his kind of funny," Ayu remarked, laughing at the memory of our encounter at the convenience store.
"Trust me, it's even worse when we are alone. He can be quite peculiar and annoying." I continued our conversation.
"There have been instances where he utters something humorous that elicits laughter from me, which is amusing in certain moments. However, there have also been instances where he makes inappropriate or uncomfortable remarks, but I suppose that's just the nature of things."
"Well, I'm glad you two had enjoyable times at work," Ayu chimed in.
"I don't," I replied, feeling a sense of sadness and discomfort as I reminisced about my experiences working with Asashi. While I acknowledge that he is a good person, his annoying tendencies at times made the situation challenging.
We have finally arrived at our secluded destination, the park's hidden gem that my aunt had previously shared with me. As I embarked on my search, I recall her mentioning a distinctive hill that rarely attracts visitors to this known spot. As I approached, I noticed a large bush that would serve as our gateway to the secret location.
Beyond the bush, we discovered a breathtaking view that surpassed my expectations. The city stretched out before us, its houses nestled amidst the urban landscape. The serene ambiance was enhanced by the presence of a bench, offering a panoramic vista of the surroundings.
Behind the bench, a small pond, almost resembling a river, provided a tranquil backdrop. New trees adorned the area, adding to the picturesque scene. As we drew closer, we were captivated by the view, confirming Aunt Yumi's accurate description of its beauty.
"Daisuke, are you witnessing this?" Ayu exclaimed in astonishment, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the cityscape and the enchanting views.
"Indeed, it is breathtaking," I replied, my gaze fixed on the vista.
"I cannot believe I have never seen this spot before in my entire life," Ayu expressed her amazement.
"It is truly remarkable," I affirmed, continuing our conversation.
"It feels as though we are the only two souls in this world," Ayu mused, her voice filled with a sense of solitude.
"Indeed, it does," I acknowledged, acknowledging the absence of any other people around us.
"Perhaps we could plan a picnic here next time," Ayu suggested, her eyes gleaming with romantic desire.
"That would be an excellent idea," I smiled, appreciating her suggestion.
We both settled on the bench and surveyed the city, the sun gradually descending, yet still casting a warm glow on a sunny afternoon. As Ayu rested her head on my shoulder, she expressed the tranquility of the moment, cherishing the solitude of the two of us. Ayu sighed contentedly, closing her eyes as she embraced the peacefulness. Suddenly, her gaze shifted to the view.
"Isn't this serene?" Ayu mused, savoring the relaxed atmosphere with her head on my shoulder.
"Indeed, it is. Although it may sound unconventional, it evokes a sense of heaven, characterized by its profound peace."
"Yeah. Where worries are absent and tranquility reigns supreme."
"Ayu, I am genuinely delighted to have met you, and I am honored to have you as a part of my life." I expressed my sentiments with a smile.
"I do not mind your words, as they bring me immense joy and demonstrate your deep care for me." Ayu, while resting her head on my lap, began to kiss me on the bench. As she positioned herself, I gently laid her down on the bench. We paused our kiss, gazing into each other's eyes, breathing deeply, and smirking at one another.
"Ayu, I love you deeply. I cannot imagine my life without you." I smiled at her.
"How about we make a promise to each other?" Ayu suggested.
"Certainly, I find that appealing."
"Alright, let us make a promise to each other that we will love each other unconditionally, regardless of any challenges that may arise. If there are significant problems that need to be addressed, we will work together to overcome them. Furthermore, if either of us were to pass away, our love will endure beyond that moment and will not be replaced by another person."
I was taken aback by the seriousness of her words. The last statement, in particular, left me shocked.
"Ayu, please do not joke about such matters. That is not appropriate." I expressed my concern, my voice serious. She fell silent, her expression becoming increasingly unsettling. She slowly looked at me, a chilling smile playing on her lips.
"Ayu…" I felt a sense of fear rising within me.
"Boo!" She playfully jumped at me.
"Aah!" I jumped back in surprise, startled by her sudden movement.
"Hahaha, you should have seen your face!" Ayu laughed, her creepy smile still visible.
"That is not cool of your behavior," I firmly stated.
"I apologize, Daisuke. I was merely joking around. However, I understand that my last comment about one of us dead was insensitive. I was not intending to cause any distress. I apologize for any fear I may have caused."
"Ayu, it is not even Halloween, and yet you have a knack for frightening people." I continued our conversation.
"You should consider using that ability for the school festival when it comes out. You could incorporate it into the haunted house, as it certainly scared me." I playfully suggested.
"My face is only for your pleasure, not for frightening others," she retorted, crossing her arms in a defensive stance.
"Your captivating beauty has a profound effect on me," I expressed my admiration as I embraced her.
"Indeed, this beauty is all yours, my dear," she responded with a giggle and a smile, holding my arms while I cuddled her.
"Seriously, Daisuke, I implore you to reciprocate my sentiments. We must remain inseparable." She turned to face me, ensuring my sincerity and the commitment I made to her.
"I pledge my unwavering loyalty to you, Ayu. You are my everything," I kissed her hands and looked into her smiling face.
"However, I am certain that nothing ill will befall us, not even the separation of our souls."
"And if it does transpire?" Ayu looked at me with a composed demeanor.
"It will not, Ayu," I reassured her, placing my hand on her cheek.
"But what if it does?" She persisted, her expression still thoughtful.
"In that eventuality, we shall navigate it together as a team," I responded. However, Ayu fell silent, lost in contemplation.
"Are you alright?" I expressed my concern.
"Yes, I am fine. It is merely a matter of contemplation," she replied, her expression slightly somber.
"Do not be concerned. Let us simply focus on living our lives to the fullest, and if it does happen, we shall find a solution as a united front. Shall we?" I embraced her, and she reciprocated the gesture, holding me tightly.
"I promise," she affirmed. As the sun descended, casting a warm golden glow over the sky, it was approaching 6:10 pm. I realized that it was time to take Ayu home before her parents became concerned. Even her father was a detective in the police force.
We spent approximately twenty minutes at the secret spot in the park, reminiscing about our shared experiences. It was time to bid farewell and return home.
"Alright, Ayu, it is time for you to go home now. It is getting late, and I do not want your parents to worry about you," I assisted her as she rose from the bench, demonstrating my gentlemanly demeanor.
"Very well, let us proceed with our walk now," Ayu said with a smile at me. We emerged from the large bush and began walking along the street towards the train station, where we intended to take the first train to Ayu's residence.
"I had a delightful date with you, Daisuke. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time together." Ayu held my arm as we walked.
"I am pleased that you did," I replied.
"However, I must say that I cherish this date more than any other because it allowed me to spend quality time with you in your company."
"I concur with Ayu, it is remarkable that we both shared the same thought."
We both smiled as we continued our walk.
As we strolled, we observed individuals walking along the street, their faces illuminated by the setting sun. The streetlights were adorned with festive decorations, creating a visually appealing ambiance. It was not Christmas, but rather a celebration of the upcoming season. Even passersby expressed a range of emotions, from happiness to melancholy, as they were captured by the street's vibrant atmosphere.
We noticed pairs of friends and couples strolling by, their interactions adding to the lively ambiance. As we continued our walk, we overheard a voice calling out to us from the street.
"Come and glimpse your future! Make it safe or make it better—whatever your heart desires, come one down here!"
The individual appeared to be a soothsayer, a person believed to possess the ability to foretell the future.
"That sounds intriguing, Daisuke," Ayu exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"I suppose it could be entertaining," I replied, acknowledging the allure of the prospect.
"However, I must admit that he does resemble a peculiar individual—a hobo with a touch of eccentricity." I described him.
"Please refrain from being rude to him," Ayu interjected, her compassion evident. "He is simply attempting to make a living and pursue his passions. At least he has discovered something that brings him joy in life, even if it is unconventional."
Ayu took my arm and proceeded towards the soothsayer.
"Ayu, wait!" I exclaimed, attempting to catch up with her.
As we reached the soothsayer, he continued his repetitive chant. He appeared to be around the age of 80, with a prominent beard and a slightly unpleasant odor. Notably, his left eye was white.
"Hello, sir," Ayu politely addressed him, hoping to garner his attention.
However, the soothsayer remained oblivious to her efforts and continued his incessant chant.
"Excuse me, sir!" I shouted, but my efforts were equally futile.
"I believe this man will not listen, Ayu. We should proceed." I said to Ayu as we moved to the side to go on our way to the train station.
"Aww, I genuinely wanted to give it a try. It sounds fun," Ayu said, expressing a hint of sadness.
As we moved to the side, the elderly gentleman abruptly ceased his shouting and slowly lowered his hand as he raised it to address everyone. He gradually turned his gaze towards us, as if a small crack was forming in his face as he slowly tilted his head towards us while we walked. The elderly gentleman made an unsettling smile and walked straight towards us, reaching out to us.
"Good evening, teenagers," he said. "I apologize for my lack of attention to you." His left white eye darted left and right, making circles, while his right eye remained fixed on us. Ayu, however, was not afraid of the elderly gentleman. She perceived him as a normal human being who may have been experiencing difficulties, but she respected such individuals. However, it is uncertain whether the elderly gentleman has any underlying issues. I found his behavior peculiar, but I chose to respect him as Ayu does. Nevertheless, if any unfortunate events occur, I will be there for Ayu, as my primary responsibility is to monitor and protect her.
"Hello, sir," Ayu greeted him with a smile. "We are genuinely interested in your job of guiding our future."
As I approached Ayu, I discreetly whispered in her ear.
"I am not certain about this, Ayu," I said.
"Be polite, Daisuke," she replied.
Despite Ayu's polite response, the elderly gentleman smiled with an unsettling expression. We could faintly hear a cracking sound emanating from his neck as if he was experiencing difficulty moving it.
"So, where should we go, sir? For you to guide our future, we are eager to learn," Ayu said, maintaining her composure. The elderly gentleman remained smiling with his unsettling expression. He slowly pointed towards a building, but he did not utter a word. He continued to smile and pointed towards an unassuming building located on the side of the main structure. On the side of the building, there was a sign that read "Open" with a bright red light flashing on and off. Like 30 seconds later the old man finally speaks.
"Follow me, young ones," the figure uttered, turning slowly and directly towards the subterranean location. Even as they approached, a cracking neck could still be heard.
We followed the elderly gentleman, but I had sent Ayu and the old man separately. Ayu appeared to be acting normally, while the old man's behavior was peculiar. It was as if he was not exhibiting any unusual behavior at all. As we approached the building below, the old man opened his door and looked at us with an unsettling smile, drooling slightly.
"Come in, young ones," he said in a creepy voice.
"Thank you, sir. You are very kind," Ayu replied with a smile. We entered the building cautiously. I kept a watchful eye on the old man, but he suddenly turned to look at me, which was even more unsettling.
