Chapter 100 - The Crimson Trial: Guy vs Himself

The air within the Labyrinth trembled.

A domain bathed in deep red hues sprawled across a vast volcanic field. Crimson clouds crackled overhead, bleeding sparks into the rivers of lava coursing through jagged terrain. Molten geysers erupted in the distance. The heat would have incinerated any lesser being, but the lone figure standing at the heart of it all was unshaken.

Guy Crimson, the Crimsong king, stood calm, expression unreadable, his long crimson hair fluttering in the infernal wind. His red eyes scanned the battlefield, calculating, intrigued—but not arrogant.

In front of him, the Labyrinth twisted reality itself—and six forms emerged from the flames.

Each one was him.

Clones. No, reflections—born from the very essence of his Ultimate Skill Lucifer, Lord of Pride, each duplicate personifying one of his dominant powers. Guy didn't flinch as he sized them up. They stared back with the same confidence, power pulsing like a living sun in their veins.

"Tch," Guy clicked his tongue. "So this is how Varvatos wants to challenge me? With myself? Not bad…"

In the Viewing Hall in Nyvaris:

Crowds gathered, seated in rows, looking up at the massive floating crystal projections. The Labyrinth's scenes played in brilliant detail, showing Guy's stage of the trial. Rimuru sat near Varvatos, flanked by Shizu and Shuna. Diablo, arms crossed, leaned forward with interest. Benimaru and Veldora stood behind, tension in their eyes.

"He's really fighting himself?" Benimaru murmured.

"Each clone wielding a core facet of his strength," Rimuru said softly. "That's… terrifying."

"A perfect test of self. If anyone can push Guy, it's Guy," Varvatos said with a grin, eyes gleaming. "This Labyrinth is alive, and it knows."

Back in the Labyrinth:

The first clone dashed forward—Godspeed. The sheer boom of its acceleration cracked the air. In a blink, it was in front of Guy, fist raised, crackling with supercharged energy.

BOOM!

Guy blocked with a flaming arm, sliding back. The ground beneath his feet shattered into molten debris.

"Cute," Guy said. In an instant, he vanished—Spatial Motion—and reappeared above.

Napalm Burst.

A cyclone of hellfire engulfed the speeding clone, painting the sky crimson.

The second clone appeared from the smoke—Time Stop—and the world froze.

Except…

"Hmph. You think I wouldn't know how to move through that?" Guy's voice echoed, unaffected.

He flexed, Lucifer's Eye glowing. Reality trembled. Time stuttered back into motion.

Suddenly, the third clone—Sword Mastery—clashed with him midair. A brilliant storm of steel lit up the skies. Guy met every slash, countering with unholy precision. His blade shimmered, bending with infernal energy.

"You know my every move, but I know yours too," Guy muttered as they locked blades.

He swung. Sparks exploded. Then—

Nuclear Magic: Death Streak.

Guy's body vanished into streaks of black and red light—colliding into all six clones at once with nuclear precision. The world shook. The sky tore apart.

Nyvaris, Viewing Hall:

"Is that his Death Streak spell?! He's using it this early?" Shion gasped.

"I never realized how strong he really was…" Shuna whispered, eyes wide.

"He's being pushed," Diablo observed. "Each clone isn't holding back."

"Even he isn't safe in that Labyrinth…" Veldora muttered, unnerved. "That place… adapts."

"He hasn't even used Material Creation yet," Varvatos said quietly. "Or gone all out with Lucifer."

Back in the Labyrinth:

The Material Creation clone summoned a meteor-sized sword from thin air, its mass warping gravity. With a roar, it hurled it toward Guy.

Guy extended both arms.

Lucifer: World Bend.

A dome of reversed gravity and antimatter shimmered around him. The sword cracked, then shattered like glass as Guy dashed forward.

Suddenly—Hand-to-Hand Combat clone caught him off-guard, delivering a flurry of strikes that rattled the heavens. Guy coughed blood—just a little—but smiled.

"Finally… A challenge," he whispered.

He dropped low, countered with a devastating uppercut, then followed up with a burst of Crimson Cataclysm, his forbidden flame art. It exploded across the field, creating a caldera of smoking ruin.

As dust settled, only two clones remained: Time Stop and Swordsmanship.

Guy stood in the center, body scorched, coat torn, blood trailing from his lip.

"Let's end this…"

Lucifer: Absolute Dominion.

A swirling, divine-red sigil spread under his feet—an aura of command over every concept he possessed. Fire raged. Time fractured. Space quaked. The clones charged, but this time—

They never reached him.

Everyone stood, breathless.

The projection shimmered—showing Guy walking through the smoking battlefield. Alone. Victorious.

"He really…" Rimuru breathed.

"Of course," Varvatos said, eyes gleaming. "That's Guy Crimson. A monster of pride, and will."

"He hasn't even reached the second floor," Benimaru said, stunned. "That was just floor one?"

"Indeed," Diablo grinned. "How many more storms will we see?"

As Guy reached the end of the first floor, a spectral gate appeared before him. It opened in silence.

And Guy, smiling darkly, stepped forward.

"Onward then. Let's see how deep this Labyrinth can go."

Milim's Wrath Unleashed: The Skyfall Trials

The world opened into an endless sea of clouds and glowing stars. Floating islands drifted lazily in an ethereal storm of violet and silver, lightning dancing across their edges like serpent tongues. Above them, black stormclouds circled a colossal open sky—blades of wind howling across the air.

Then they came—six colossal flying beasts, each the size of a mountain, their scales shimmering with divine radiance, wings blotting out the false sky. Each one roared, the sound cracking the heavens like thunder.

And in the center of it all floated Milim Nava, her pigtails bouncing in the wind, eyes wide with excitement and wild anticipation.

"OHHH! This place is so COOL!" she screamed, her voice echoing across the domain. "You're my playmates today?! Hehe, this is gonna be fun!"

But the beasts didn't answer.

They attacked.

Nyvaris, Viewing Hall:

"Those monsters are massive…" Shuna whispered, eyes glued to the projection.

"Each one has Milim's power level?" Rigur asked, pale.

"It's a miracle the sky isn't breaking," Hakuro muttered.

"No. It is breaking," Diablo corrected, smirking.

"Watch closely," Varvatos said, leaning forward. "This is Milim at war."

Back in the Labyrinth:

The first beast dove—faster than a sonic boom. Milim's expression turned sharp. Her eyes—Milim Eye—gleamed golden. She saw it: every thread of power, every hidden weakness, every slight muscle twitch.

She vanished—Spatial Motion—reappearing behind it, her fist glowing.

"DRAGO FIRST!"

She struck its back—and the shockwave vaporized a floating island nearby. The beast howled, wings flaring, but it recovered instantly and whirled around, blasting her with a beam of sound so powerful it warped space.

Milim blocked with her arms, tumbling back through clouds.

"WOOO! THAT'S STRONG!" she laughed mid-air.

Then the others came.

One bit down on her from above—she teleported again, reappearing high above the field. Another fired a barrage of spatial spikes—she dodged through the storm of distortions, flipping through the air.

Suddenly, three surrounded her.

"Alright…" she muttered. Her smile vanished. "You wanna see serious?"

Satanael: Lord of Wrath — Activate.

Her aura detonated. A blinding crimson pillar exploded outward, warping the sky into madness.

Her eyes narrowed. Her form changed.

Her armor formed—black, dragon-scale plates covering her body, a twisted horn emerging from her forehead. The magicules around her surged uncontrollably—fed by the Magicule Breeder Reactor in her heart. An infinite storm of power.

The beasts hesitated—then roared again and charged.

Milim drew her sword—a long, thin, glowing weapon pulsing with wrathful starlight.

"Let's dance."

"That's… her battle form," Benimaru said. "I've only heard rumors."

"Look at that aura," Rimuru murmured. "It's suffocating even from here…"

"Her reactor is building up faster than ever," Veldora growled, amazed. "She's not even close to max yet!"

"Her anger…" Shion said. "It's growing."

"And with it, her power," Varvatos said with a dark grin.

Back in the Labyrinth:

CLANG!

She blocked a beast's claws with her sword, spun, and countered with Dragon Fang—a flurry of piercing strikes so fast they became light. The beast's body was torn open, black fire erupting from the wounds.

Another beast struck from behind, biting down—

"HAAAAGH!" Milim screamed.

She unleashed Drago Buster, a pulse of concussive wrath magic that shattered its jaw and flung it backward into an island, which crumbled under the impact.

The sky was burning. Wind screamed. The beasts were regrouping—but Milim was faster now, eyes wild.

"Star Magic: Stellar Collapse!"

She raised a hand—six micro-stars formed, spinning, pulsing, then launched.

Each one struck a beast.

BOOOOOOM!

Flaming spheres tore open the heavens, shockwaves shredding clouds. One of the flying beasts fell, its body limp, vanishing into the mist far below.

Milim panted, sweat beading on her brow.

"Tch… That's one."

Another beast circled. She turned too slow—BOOM!—a wing sent her spiraling.

She crashed into an island, coughing blood.

She laughed.

"Oh yeah… this hurts. This is fun!"

She stood, armor cracked.

Her eyes burned.

"Let's take off the brakes then…"

She roared—and launched herself skyward.

She teleported, reappeared in front of another beast and stabbed it through the mouth with her sword, kicking off and flipping into the air.

Drago Nova.

A sphere of pure dragon wrath ignited above her. She screamed—

"DIEEEEEEEE!"

And hurled it.

KA-THOOOOM!

The entire sky erupted. Red, black, and violet flames burned for miles. Three beasts turned to ash, vaporized in seconds.

Only two remained.

One had her pinned—she was bleeding, her sword knocked away.

But she grinned.

"I can hear your heartbeat," she whispered.

Milim Ear.

With one twist, she shattered its skull from within—then roared and summoned her final surge.

Her armor glowed red-hot. Her eyes locked on the final beast.

"This is the end. MY end."

She charged. So did it.

Hand to hand. Claw vs fist. Speed vs speed. Dragon vs dragon.

Booms. Screams. Roars.

She grabbed its horn, flipped over, and—

"DRAGO BUSTER: SUPERNOVA FORM!"

She slammed her palm into its chest.

The explosion swallowed the sky.

Silence.

Then… slowly… she emerged from the mist, falling through the air, laughing.

"Hehehe… I WIN."

Nyvaris:

The crowd erupted.

"She did it!" Shuna cried.

"Damn…" Benimaru said. "That wasn't a battle. That was a storm."

"She was bleeding, but still laughing," Hakuro noted, eyes wide. "Terrifying."

"That… was Milim," Rimuru whispered.

Varvatos grinned.

"One Demon Lord passes. But that was only the first floor."

Milim stood at the gateway, bruised, battle-worn, smiling like a child given her favorite toy.

"NEXT FLOOR, LET'S GOOOOO!"
