Not good, not good, the current situation was not good at all. The current situation was bad, very bad, extremely bad, nothing could be worse. This was the worst thing that had ever happened to Lucifer.
His plan was completely destroyed because of that damned Centaur. That Centaur had caused the corpses of the previous Centaurs to fall to the ground, undoing all Lucifer's efforts up to now.
Face-to-face combat was always what Lucifer wanted to avoid the most because he would have no chance against these Centaurs. Even if he defeated one, he would still have to face the entire herd of Centaurs down there.
Sooner or later, Lucifer would die from exhaustion.
And what about the situation now? Lucifer and Nothing were facing a very special Centaur, possibly the strongest Centaur among them.
Even though Manuel hadn't actually attacked him, Lucifer could already tell that if he let his guard down, he would die. Instantly.
The three of them fell dead silent, not saying a word to each other, the only sounds being the cold wind blowing and the Volcanic Slime's cute noises.
It didn't fit the current situation at all.
Realizing that their plan had failed, Nothing approached Lucifer right away. Both of them said nothing to each other, using all their senses to observe the monster's every move.
Both of them were trembling with anxiety, but they tried not to show it because if Manuel knew that Lucifer and Nothing were trembling, he would gain a lot more confidence.
That was one of the many things Lucifer had learned back in the slums. If someone showed even the slightest bit of fear during a fight, that person would definitely lose.
Finally, after a few seconds of silence, Manuel was the first to speak up:
"5 minutes."
"Huh?" Lucifer and Nothing said in unison, not understanding what the hell Manuel was talking about.
"5 minutes is the amount of time it takes for me to kill both of you."
Lucifer gulped. They were being looked down upon, and they deserved it because both of them were many times weaker than that Centaur.
Without saying anything more, the damned Centaur started walking step by step towards Lucifer and Nothing, as if he was deliberately teasing them. How humiliating.
Manuel smirked as he walked, each step he took exuded the might and power of a tyrant. That alone was enough to make normal people lose their will to fight.
But Lucifer and Nothing were different. They would always fight for their lives no matter who their opponents were.
Lucifer immediately dashed forward with the Dagger Of The Night in his hand, the blade reflecting the light from the moon, exuding a mysterious yet menacing aura. His target was the Centaur's flank.
But just before the stab reached its target, he was unexpectedly knocked back. Lucifer didn't even understand what had just happened to him, he didn't even see the attack.
Meanwhile, the Centaur was still standing there leisurely as if nothing had happened.
Looking at that scene, a flame of madness burned in the white-haired boy's eyes, but along with it was a contemptuous smile directed towards the monster.
Taking advantage of Manuel's attention being focused on Lucifer, Nothing carefully circled behind the monster with a roughly made spear made of wood, aiming at one of the Centaur's hind legs.
But they had underestimated Manuel. It wasn't that Manuel underestimated them, it was that they underestimated Manuel's true strength and potential.
Manuel wasn't fooled by Lucifer and Nothing's petty tricks, he instantly launched a back kick with his horse's hoof, fast and strong like a sledgehammer, straight into the middle of the black-haired boy's chest.
Nothing spat out a mouthful of blood, he was sent flying backwards like an old rag doll and was falling straight to the ground from this towering statue.
But of course Nothing wasn't dead yet because Lucifer had immediately canceled the summon and summoned him again the moment he realized something was wrong.
Manuel's eyes widened as he saw the strange scene just now.
"What the hell just happened? I remember I just kicked the black-haired man to the ground? How is he still here? This is so surreal!"
Lucifer staggered to his feet, barely managing to hold on after that attack. It was a miracle that he was still conscious. But Nothing wasn't so lucky, the damage Nothing took was much higher than Lucifer's.
"Nothing, are you okay?"
Nothing glared at Lucifer, his eyes filled with anger and pain.
"Are you fucking blind you son of a bitch? Do you even have a brain? You think I'm okay after taking that attack? I'm in so much pain right now!"
"Can you still fight?" Lucifer asked.
Nothing didn't answer, just spat out some bloody phlegm, it looked really disgusting. He staggered to his feet and gripped his wooden spear tightly.
That meant Nothing could still fight.
Lucifer smiled slightly, he could indeed trust this comrade.
They took a few deep breaths and then continued to charge towards the monster with terrifying speed and indomitable will, refusing to yield to anyone.

No matter how unpredictable and agile Lucifer and Nothing's attacks were, they were barely able to cause any damage to Manuel's muscular body.
Most of their attacks couldn't even reach the monster's body, and the ones that did could only leave a few scratches on his body.
Even the fire of the Dagger Of The Night didn't have much effect. The fire was only truly deadly when the dagger was stabbed into the opponent's body, but Lucifer couldn't do that in this situation.
He had tried to do that a few times but he always failed.
At this point, both of them were almost completely exhausted, just standing was too challenging for both of them.
Although Lucifer didn't want to, he had to admit that the monster was too strong, unreasonably strong, but that didn't mean they couldn't defeat Manuel.
The Centaur had overwhelming strength that they couldn't compete with, but there was one thing Manuel couldn't compare to Lucifer and Nothing. And that was flexibility.
Although it was a bit humiliating, Lucifer had to admit that he and Nothing had quite skinny bodies, not much flesh. But thanks to that, both of them were able to avoid most of the Centaur's attacks.
Lucifer was starting to see a glimmer of hope, a glimmer of hope that would lead them to victory.
Not wasting any time, Lucifer began to use telepathy to discuss his plan with Nothing. He saw an opportunity.
