Alarm clock goes off, Liu wakes up all hazy. No one's awake at this time. He goes to the bathroom but it's dark so he turns the lights on. He then sees himself in the mirror. His eyes are red.
"Is it a pink eye?" He asks himself. Caring not much, he shrugs it off and casually gets ready for the day.
He goes to sit at the counter, he pours a carton of milk and toast on a plate. Just when he tries to eat the toast, his hands shake rapidly. Scared, he jumps off his seat. And he couldn't think of anything else. So he grabs his own wrist, helding onto it tightly until it stops.
And then we see what's really happening in his mind.
Ori is in his mind. Not physically, but as brainwaves. Moving, lingering through his neurons as a being of light and electricity. The minds of Ori and Liu coexisting as one to process what Purity is. For Ori, Liu is simply a tool for him to accelerate his motives. The thought process of Ori's mind, processing of the Purity, and thought processes of Liu Kang, conjoining together to make Liu as miserable as possible. Liu will now be losing approximately 300 calories per second even if he isn't moving much. Because his thought processes are all fried up. He can't even think his own thoughts without them fucking up with other thoughts.
As he hurriedly ate his breakfast, he went out to his Master Dabo.
Dabo notices his tiredness and asks "Didn't have a good sleep?"
Liu Kang doesn't even answer his question. It's as if he didn't hear Dabo.
Dabo confused, went close to him. He grabs him by his shoulder and forcefully turns his face towards him.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Liu asks.
Dabo looks into Liu's eyes and upon inspecting closer, he sees microscopic black goo inside his pupil. It's really microscopic and surprisingly it's moving. Dabo is now confused and a little scared too. He doesn't understand what to do. As let's Liu go, he asks Dabo "What did you see?"
"I'm afraid, it might be Him"
Liu is astounded.
"Youve been in that werehouse right? Ori's presence might have been inside you. Ori is definitely in this city, and he is watching us. And, you are one of his tools for spying on us"
Liu doesn't know what to say. But he still finds a way,
"Well, can't you- like- get it out of my eyes?"
"We can't get it out, if we try to get it out he may kill you and then kill me"
"So what are we supposed to do? Wait for him to completely spy us?"
"For now, yes. Until then, I'll figure out a way"
Liu Kang simply goes upstairs in his tinkering room. He tries to assemble some kind of gear inorder to get Ori out his eyes or his brains or wherever he is resided.
Arya and Nexen can't just stay dormant. So they went out to find infirmations about Ori's whereabouts. Nexen developed a device that can track a certain space to look for Blanka marks. They scan trees, streets, abandoned places, sewerages, but alas they can't find anything.
Fanguar is worried about Ori but he can't stay silent. He must be awake inorder to protect the city. So he is always moving, seeing crimes and looking for Ori in places.
There's a visible amount of distress in the city, they can't see it but they can feel it. What happened years ago is now again feared to happen. And they can't do anything about it. Not unless the Xano, or a strong civilisation helps.
Speaking of strong civilisation...
The spaceship shuttle opens. A man in white suit wears technological goggles. He is standing at the edge of the space shuttle while several vicious looking mercenaries drop out of the spaceship. The man in white chuckles as he also jumps, the man freefalls for a while and then flies so fast that he breaks the sound barrier. He zoops to a big metropolitan city so fast that he destroys the entire city, burning everything behind. It's as if several nuclear bombs were dropped in the area. He then stands on the roof of a building and we see his mercenaries land on other buildings and streets. They vanquish the city, killing pedestrians, destroying poles, buildings and causing arson. All while the man-in-white grins.
