Chapter 178 - Chapter 176: Shadows of the Past

---

Even though the alliance was formed and peace celebrations filled the air, Chirag couldn't shake a feeling of unease. The past had many shadows, and not all of them had faded with the light of the new flame.

That night, as Chirag sat by the Eternal Flame, Siya joined him silently. "What troubles you?" she asked softly.

Chirag sighed. "The gods may be defeated for now, but their followers are still out there. There are those who don't want peace. Those who want chaos."

Siya nodded, her eyes steady. "We must be ready. But for now, let's enjoy this moment. We've earned it."

---

The next day, Chirag and his closest friends traveled to the borderlands where strange disturbances had been reported. Villages were disappearing, shadows moving in the night. It was a place where old magic still lingered, dangerous and wild.

Kael led the way, his spear ready. "We must find the source before it spreads."

Liora used her healing magic to protect them from the dark energy swirling nearby.

---

After days of searching, they discovered an ancient temple hidden deep in the forest. The temple's walls were covered with carvings of gods and demons locked in eternal battle.

Inside, they found a group of dark worshippers trying to awaken an old god—one that had been banished long ago.

Chirag stepped forward, the Eternal Flame burning bright in his hand. "You won't succeed."

The leader of the worshippers sneered. "You cannot stop what is destined."

---

A fierce battle broke out. Shadows clashed with light. The worshippers' magic was strong, but Chirag's fire, Siya's strength, Kael's skill, and Liora's healing pushed them back.

In the heat of battle, Chirag reached deep within himself and unleashed a new power—a blazing wave of flame mixed with the energy of the alliance.

The dark god's presence weakened, and the temple began to crumble.

---

When the dust settled, the worshippers were defeated, and the temple was sealed once more.

Chirag looked at his friends. "This is only the beginning. The past still haunts us, but together, we will face whatever comes."

Siya smiled, "We stand as one. No darkness can break us."

---

Back at the alliance camp, Chirag prepared to share what they had learned.

The fight for peace was not over—but with unity, hope, and love, they were ready to face the future.
