"Aside from Black and White, the stages are further divided into three sub-stages.
"What are the changes you've experienced since you started advancing through the Stages?"
Multiple people raised their hands to answer, prompting her to add, "I'll take an answer from each of you."
Abigail pointed to each student in turn, allowing them to speak.
"Increase in Mana Circuits."
"Better Mana perception and control."
"Denser Mana."
Abigail nodded as she added, "These changes persist throughout all Mana Core changes."
After a brief pause, two more hands went up—those of the Rank 1 and Rank 3 cadets.
Abigail chose the Rank 3 first.
"Isn't there also a physical change too?" Finn asked, recalling what he was taught as a foot soldier that used a similar mana system in his former world.
Alma dropped her hands and nodded, signifying she had a similar question.
