Chapter 9 - Let's Go Party!!

BLAIR

I stood up from the dining hall table, the chatter around me fading into the background.

I was literally done and I began to zone out. Even though I was reborn, I still needed to see Blake.

My fingers moved almost automatically, smoothing down my blouse and straightening my skirt. The fabric was soft and crinkled from sitting too long.

I glanced over at Lola, who was yet to finish her ice cream. "It's time to go back to the hostel," I told her.

Lola looked up. "So soon?"

"Yeah, I need to go speak to my mom. It's too noisy here."

"Alright then, I'll meet you at the party later," she said with a smile.

I nodded and turned away. Jessica and Maude, who had been quietly eating beside me, stood up as well.

"We're done," Jessica said, brushing crumbs from her lap with a quick motion.

Maude didn't say anything. She just gathered her things and followed me without a word.

The four of us—Jessica, Maude and I walked out of the dining hall together. Jane was still somewhere with her new boyfriend and we didn't bother to call her. The cool evening air hit my face as we stepped outside. It was the kind of night that made you want to hold onto the moment, even as you moved forward.

I thought I'd be sad and miserable coming to board on campus. But so far, I was enjoying it.

When we got back to the hostel, Jane suddenly popped her head into the room while Jessica was already unpacking, looking for what to wear to the party.

"Why did you leave me all alone in the dining hall?" Jane asked, her voice was accusing.

Jessica shrugged without looking up. "I thought you were having fun, frolicking with that silver-haired boyfriend. How did you know we left?"

Jane's eyes narrowed. "I was, but still. You could've told me." Jane entered the room and began to touch her box of clothes.

"I don't trust you, Jessica," Jane said angrily.

"Who gives a flying fuck? You don't even trust yourself," Jane shot back angrily.

I watched them argue quietly from my corner of the room. Jane accused Jessica of wanting to steal her clothes. She said that was the reason Jessica didn't call her.

Maude was standing by her own corner, silent as always. She seemed lost in her own thoughts. Without a word, she began to take off her clothes, folding them carefully and placing them in a neat pile.

I caught her eye for a moment, but I quickly looked away, not wanting to pry.

Maude stood in her panties and she unclasped her bra. Her big beautiful boobs were exposed and I couldn't help but stare.

My nipples stood at attention and my core tingled. I could feel my juices spilling. Maude had the most beautiful boobs I had ever seen.

It seemed I had grown a weird attraction to her. I loved her quietness and mysteriousness behind the glasses.

Maude's boobsooked like they were crafted by the best doctor in Hollywood. Her breasts stood but still dropped nicely and her pink nipples shone in the room light.

I washed the thought away.

"No, Blair, you can't crush on your roomie . It's wrong," I cautioned myself and looked away.

I reached into my bag and pulled out a short leather sleeveless gown I had packed. It was pink. I took off my uniform and slipped into it, feeling the smooth fabric hug my skin.

It was a little daring, but I liked how it made me feel—confident and ready for the night. Today was a revenge day against Blake and I did not want him to see me at my worst.

Maude opened a box on her bed and pulled out her outfit. Without hesitation, she headed to the bathroom. The sound of running water filled the room, and I could hear her moving around inside.

She was jiggling those boobs and I wasn't there to caress them. Such pain!!

Jessica and Jane were still bickering about who would wear a pretty pleated skirt. Their voices rose and fell. This whole twin bickering was getting annoying.

"I'm wearing the skirt," Jane said firmly, crossing her arms.

"No way! I called it first," Jessica shot back, her face flushed with frustration.

Jessica's anger grew, and she grabbed a pair of jean shorts with rips and put them on instead. When she looked at herself in the mirror, Jane was busy applying mascara in the mirror.

"Take that off," Jane said without looking away from her reflection. "You're not wearing that to join me."

"Don't also follow me with mascara on your face. You look like Yzma from the emperor's new groove," Jessica replied and that was funny.

I held a laugh.

Jane kept talking about how Jessica was bad at dressing and she asked her to change the jeans. Jessica huffed but obeyed.

Suddenly, Maude came out of the bathroom. Everyone's attention shifted to her.

"Wow," I breathed, my eyes wide. Maude looked stunning. My heart skipped two beats and goosebumps were on my skin.

Her glasses framed her face perfectly, and the red cross-hand short gown she wore made her look almost angelic.

The fabric showed her cleavages, rounded her buttocks and showed off her flat tummy.

Her figure was hugged in all the right places. Maude was so pretty. I think I had a secret crush on her.

I quickly fixed my messy blonde hair, spraying a light mist of perfume that filled the room with a sweet scent. I liked the way it made me feel—ready for anything.

Jessica and Jane finally settled on their outfits. Jessica wore a black sleeveless short gown and Jane wore a deep blue sleeveless short gown. They both paired it with heels.

"We're the Fabulous Four," Jane declared, striking a pose.

I laughed. "I like that." We were prepared to leave.

I locked the door behind us and entrusted the key to Maude. Using her knowledge of science, Maude rigged a simple but effective alarm system to make sure Sonya wouldn't sneak in while we were out. I was impressed by her cleverness; it made my feelings for her grow.

I pulled out my phone and sent a quick text to Lola. [On my way to the party!]

The four of us headed toward the party.

When we arrived, the hall was buzzing with energy. Shifters and students from all over had gathered.

Firebenders stood in a corner in the hallway, they were using their fire bending ability to create small flames in their hands to keep warm.

Goth girls looked so scary and warm. I didn't see any staff around and I knew something funny was going to happen.

I watched as people moved around, some shifting between forms, others showing off their powers in small, playful ways. The atmosphere was electric and full of excitement. I felt a thrill run through me—this was a world I loved to be part of.

Jessica shivered beside me. "It's freezing," she complained, putting her hands around her.

Jane's eyes scanned the crowd. Then, suddenly, she spotted him—her silver-haired boyfriend. She waved eagerly and made her way toward him, her face lighting up with happiness.

"Here we go again…" Jessica complained and Jane ignored her.

We reached a door that said, 18+.

"This should be the one," Jessica said.

Guys around kept checking out Maude and cat -calling her. She ignored them.

We entered the door and stepped further into the main party hall, taking in the scene. The air smelled like booze and so many students were kissing, smooching and drinking.

Servers passed around and a cloud ability girl was entertaining people on stage. The music blasted so loud and I looked for where to sit when my eyes caught something unexpected.

It was a girl, and she was kissing Blake fiercely. She was black haired with pigtails and she looked like one of those weird goth girls that stood outside.

What the hell?!! Was this what this idiot called me for?

He knew I wasn't a party animal and he expected that I would not come so he got carried away.

The moment they noticed me, they quickly pulled apart.

Blake staggered close to me. He was drunk. "Hi, Blair, I didn't think you'd come so early."

He tried to kiss me and I gave him a punch on his uppercut.
