Chapter 4 - Ch - 4

When Dr. Sadako found out that the man was now a little better and slowly regaining consciousness, he eased his worry about him... and headed home.

He exited the hospital and sat in his car — neither too expensive nor too cheap — just a nice, white-colored car, simple and clean, much like himself.

He leaned into the driver's seat, placed his hands on the steering wheel, and began to drive.

The rain had stopped. The sky was now completely clear. Even if one stared hard, there was no trace of the dark clouds anymore.

"Sydrala… she's just like her mother. She knows exactly how to help others. She knows how to fight for goodness and truth…""You're listening, right, Keil?"

Dr. Sadako murmured these words to himself while driving. There was a glimmer in his eyes and a faint smile on his lips — as if an pictures of old memory had come alive before him.

He was driving past tall, luxurious buildings. The street was lit by the lights of the night, sparkling brightly. And through those lights, his white car moved like a line drawn in some ancient tale.

But Dr. Sadako's home was far from that grandeur and glitter — it was in a calm and ordinary place.

"I'm a little late today… I still don't know why Sydrala was in that condition… and how that man met her?""I have so many questions to ask her…"

A storm of questions surged in his mind. He was somewhat troubled, yet somewhat composed.

"That man... was badly injured. If he hadn't been brought in at the right time, he could've died…"

His car had now moved away from the city's glitz and glamour into peaceful quiet. It moved slowly on an empty road.

Alongside the road were a few small, modest houses. Passing by those homes, he reached the last house on the street — a small but very beautiful wooden home. The white-painted door looked like something out of a fairy tale.

He parked the car and rang the bell at the door.

After ringing two or three times, the door opened... and standing there was a very beautiful girl.

None other than Sydrala.
