Chapter 38 - Chapter 37: Onoki's Greatest Fear... A Giant!

A few minutes earlier – Iwagakure.

"Hah... Haah... You bastard...!"

Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage, floated weakly in the air, gasping for breath, his aged eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

He could hardly comprehend it.

He had just sent ten thousand elite shinobi to attack the Third Raikage — yet, in the blink of an eye, his own village had suffered an even worse fate.

No...

This wasn't a mere defeat. It was an outright massacre.

Before him stood two towering giants: one, a perfect replica of Madara Uchiha's Susanoo; the other, a hundred-meter-tall Vajra Lux, a colossal being the ninja world had never seen before.

Each movement from them shattered mountains and split the earth with terrifying ease.

In mere minutes, Iwagakure lay in ruins.

Ninjas and civilians alike had fallen in droves.

Even Han, the village's pride — the Jinchūriki of the Five-Tails, revered as the "Steam Ninja" — had been crushed effortlessly by the woman commanding the Vajra Lux, brought down by a single, almost casual palm strike.

This was not the power of a shinobi.

This was something far beyond.

A creeping dread filled Onoki's heart, dredging up memories of his childhood — of standing helpless before the might of Madara Uchiha.

Fear. Anger.

And a bitter, crushing sense of powerlessness.

"I'm Luo Hao! A God Slayer! A Demon King!"

Standing atop the Vajra Lux, Luo Hao's voice echoed across the broken village, full of divine arrogance.

"Remember this name, boy. Let it burn into your soul — fuel your hatred. And come find me... if you dare."

"Bullshit! You Konoha bastards... the old man will take you down with him!!"

Roaring with defiance, Onoki forced his battered body to fold his hands into a seal, gathering the power for a massive Particle Style technique.

He intended to drag her into death with him.

But in the blink of an eye, Luo Hao's figure disappeared—

—and reappeared directly behind him.

Shrinking the Ground Method: Divine Step—

"Flying Phoenix Twelve Palms: Danyang Soaring Phoenix!"

Her palm, imbued with the searing force of the sun itself, struck out like a falling star.

"What—!? She's too fast!"

Onoki's mind screamed as he tried to react.

But it was too late.

Panicking, he swung his arm forward, activating his Super Heavy Rock Technique to strengthen his body at the last instant.

Bang!!

The two forces collided with a deafening boom.

Crack—

Onoki heard it — the sharp, sickening crack of bones breaking around his waist.

His weighted arm snapped under the scorching blow, turning to ash in an instant.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!

His small body was sent flying like a meteor, tearing through layers of crumbling buildings, leaving a trail of sonic booms in the air before finally crashing deep into the ruins.

The scene that followed was exactly what Daemon and the others witnessed in the livestream.

"The Third Tsuchikage... has been defeated."

The surviving Iwagakure shinobi and civilians stared numbly at the two titanic figures looming in the air.

All thought of resistance evaporated.

Some fell to their knees, trembling, begging for their lives.

It was as Onoki had once said:

The might of Susanoo and Vajra Lux existed on a different plane from ordinary shinobi.

Luo Hao, still brimming with mana, turned her gaze downward.

"Should I destroy them all?"

She asked, condensing mana in her hands, ready to wipe the village off the map if given the word.

But Miyuki Uchiha, standing beside her, calmly shook her head.

"Leave them."

Destroying Iwagakure this early would bring no real benefit.

Besides...

Miyuki chuckled to herself.

Such a waste it would be to crush those deliciously long legs of Kurotsuchi's.

With thoughts nowhere near pure, she decided it would be better to cultivate some future 'opportunities.'

"Hmm."

Oblivious to Miyuki's hidden intentions, Luo Hao shrugged and withdrew her magic.

Together, they vanished from the sky.

On the ground:

"They... they're gone?"

"We're saved... we're actually saved...!"

The surviving ninjas, stunned for a moment, then scrambled into action.

"Quick! Save the Third Tsuchikage!"

Cries of urgency echoed through the broken streets.

At the same time, the names 'God Slayer Luo Hao' and 'Uchiha Miyuki' spread like wildfire from the ruined Iwagakure to the rest of the world.

Meanwhile — In the Chat Group Livestream:

The group was still watching the battle between the Third Raikage and the ten thousand Iwa-nin, completely absorbed.

Esdeath: "Weren't ninjas in the Naruto world supposed to be all offense and no defense? How is he still standing?"

Yamamoto Mei: "There are exceptions. The Third Raikage is one of them. His physical toughness rivals top-tier beings from even the pirate world."

Uchiha Miyuki: "Sister and I have returned to the camp. How's Grandpa Raikage doing?"

Yamamoto Mei: "Iwagakure has lost nearly a thousand men. Heavy casualties. But the Third Raikage's stamina is draining fast."

Yamamoto Mei: "In the original story, he fought for three days and nights before finally dying of exhaustion. He's basically dragging it out using pure durability."

Sakura Tohsaka: "@Daemon, Brother Daemon... when you finally act... could you please give Grandpa Raikage a quick death?"

Unlike poor Hanzo, who was quickly brushed aside before, the group had developed a genuine respect for the Third Raikage — a tragic hero fighting alone against overwhelming odds.

There were no bleeding hearts among them, but even the gentle Sakura only hoped Daemon would grant the old warrior a merciful end.

Back at the camp, Daemon stretched, cracking his neck.

"It's about time."

Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Finally going to step in, Mr. World Noble? Gonna use Hercules' Belt? Or maybe God Avoid?"

Daemon chuckled, shaking his head.

"Neither. There are still over eight thousand flies buzzing around him.

No point dealing with just the old man when I can clean house all at once."

He smiled lazily, his aura starting to surge.

"Let's do it properly."

"More than 8,000 flies, huh?"

Off to the side, Uzumaki Kushina clicked her tongue quietly.

She knew Daemon wasn't the type to bluff — after all, he had defeated Luo Hao — but even so, could anyone really pull off something this insane?

In the history of the ninja world, even legends like the Third Raikage, a man famed for his strength, had only managed to slay a little over a thousand Iwagakure ninjas after a desperate, blood-soaked battle.

Compared to that, what Daemon was claiming sounded utterly absurd.

Even if her heart told her Daemon wasn't someone who spoke empty words, logic made it hard to believe.

Still, caution prevailed.

Kushina quietly drew upon the power of the Nine-Tails sealed within her, cloaking both herself and Kasumigaoka Utaha with the crimson chakra.

"I remember…" Daemon muttered under his breath, recalling the anime. "Didn't Uchiha Madara once summon a meteor to crush the battlefield? And wasn't it the Third Tsuchikage who barely managed to shatter it?"

"Come forth — Leviathan, Dragon of Chaos!"

A deafening roar split the sky.

The skeletal dragon, already immense, began expanding at a speed visible to the naked eye — stretching, growing, until its very presence dominated the heavens.

Daemon hadn't even fully unleashed the treasure's power yet, but even now, the monstrous roar it released triggered a natural disaster — hurricanes tore across the land, ripping it apart like paper.

"Ahh——!!"

The wind was merciless.

"What... what kind of jutsu is this?! This isn't real!"

"Help me! Somebody help me—!"

On the ground, chaos erupted.

Thousands of Iwagakure shinobi screamed, their eardrums ruptured from the sheer force of the roar. Weaker ones were shredded into bloody mist by the tornado-like winds, their flesh and blood staining the sky.

Even the strongest among them — the elite jonin, the proud Third Raikage — struggled to stand against the force.

The Raikage squinted up into the heavens, his heart pounding with something he had never known before: fear.

"Th-the sun... It's disappearing…?"

Above him, the titanic dragon blotted out the sky. Its vast body stretched like a moving continent, growing even larger as he watched, despair gripping his chest.

And then—

With a terrible inevitability, the monster began to fall.

"No... No, no, no, NOOO—!!"

Cries of terror filled the air as over 8,000 Iwagakure ninjas turned and fled in panic.

But it was far too late.

The beast — Leviathan, the Dragon of Chaos — crossed the sky like a fallen star, a meteor of death, crashing down with unstoppable force.

BOOOOOOM——!!!

The earth shook violently.

A shockwave tore across the entire ninja continent, splitting the ground, toppling mountains, flattening forests.

Cities hundreds of miles away felt the tremors.

Across the world, civilians and shinobi alike rushed out of their homes, wide-eyed and trembling, thinking the end had come.

Even viewers watching through the dimensional chat group could feel the rumble and terror through their screens.

On that day, for the first time in the world of Naruto the Chaos dragon Leviathan revealed a glimpse of its true power — a creature capable of crushing a continent simply by breathing.
