After breakfast, Takeshi wiped his hands with a napkin and turned to Bast.
Takeshi: "Bast, let's head to the casino office today."
Bast raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
Bast: "Casino?"
Takeshi (smiling): "Yes. I want to introduce you to all my business partners as my son-in-law. After me, it'll be you and Kai who handle everything. And I'd like to know more about your own business and life too."
Bast (smiling): "Sure. I'd be happy to."
Kai, sitting across the table, watched them with a small smile. They looked so comfortable together—like real father and son.
Kai (softly): "Then… I'll see you after work?"
Bast (nodding): "Yeah."
They stood to leave. As Bast followed Takeshi out, he looked back over his shoulder and winked at Kai. Kai smiled to himself, glancing down at his phone.
Just then, Reiji walked in, his usual mischievous grin on his face.
Reiji: "Hey, lover~"
Kai raised an eyebrow.
Kai: "What do you want now?"
