Chapter 89 - No Coffee

When people thought about tea they did not often see it as anything other than a beverage to be consumed piping hot in the winter. Or refreshingly cold in the summer. But tea was more than that.

Tea was a way of life. It was an art form, and it was something that Tristan enjoyed a great deal. Which was why he had decided to share one of the finer aspects of tea with Ariel.

The two of them were trying different blends.

So far it was an activity that Tristan was enjoying greatly. He admitted, even if only to himself, that another reason why the tea date was so enjoyable for him was because he did not feel as though his safety were in immediate danger. That was how he had felt during the knife throwing date.

Never in his life had Tristan thought that he would feel uneasy at the sight of Ariel with a knife in her hands. After all, in the kitchen, when Ariel handled the knife, it was a thing of beauty. But her throwing skills were absolutely horrible.
