Meeting up with her boss one-on-one in order to plan his schedule was something that Lucy and Tristan did quite often. But there was something different about their current meeting.
Lucy had known going in that it would not be like all of the others because they had already held a planning meeting the day before. So whatever it was that Tristan wanted to talk to her about, it was something different.
The PA would not lie and say that she was not curious about the reason for being called. She really wanted to know. But she was a professional so she held herself back and waited for her boss to address her. Sitting patiently in her chair, and waiting for him to speak instead of rushing him.
Leaning back against his seat, Tristan regarded her coolly. Then he leaned forward and started to speak.
