The atmosphere aboard the Thousand Sunny was unusually calm. The Straw Hat crew had just finished an intense battle and were taking a well-deserved break. However, the peace didn't last long as their next adventure unfolded in dramatic fashion.
**Gol D. Roger:** "Wow!! I absolutely love them!!!"
**Edward Newgate:** "Gurararara!! That Straw Hat brat is such a man of responsibility. He reminds me so much of myself when I was young!"
**Emporio Ivankov:** "Boys, you were all so cool!!!"
**Bartolomeo:** "Luffy-senpai, Zoro-senpai, Usopp-senpai, Sanji-senpai... How can you guys be this awesome?! You're killing me with your coolness!"
**Gion:** "That little girl's plea—'Save me...'—no man could resist that, right?"
**Tashigi:** "I couldn't hold back my tears. This scene almost made me cry too..."
**Kuzan:** "Can you stop embarrassing yourself already?"
Arlong Park
Inside Arlong Park, Arlong lounged lazily, filing his nails. Suddenly—
BOOM!!!
The massive gates of Arlong Park exploded into pieces! A figure appeared at the entrance, shouting boldly:
"Who here is called Arlong?!"
The sudden explosion startled the fishmen pirates. They turned toward the voice, confused.
"Who's asking for Arlong?" one of the fishmen muttered.
From amidst the crowd of fishmen, Arlong reclined on his chair, smirking slightly. "That's me. What do you want?"
"My name is Luffy," the figure replied calmly.
"Luffy? Never heard of you," Arlong sneered. "What are you—a wannabe pirate?"
"I'm a pirate," Luffy answered simply, striding forward without hesitation.
"Hey! Stop right there!" two fishmen shouted, blocking Luffy's path.
The surrounding fishmen laughed, assuming this human was just another fool seeking humiliation. But...
Without warning, Luffy raised both hands, stretched them out, grabbed the heads of the two fishmen, and slammed them together with a thunderous crack!
Then, he casually stepped over their unconscious bodies and continued walking toward Arlong.
"What the hell?!" The fishmen stared in shock.
By now, Arlong had turned around fully to face the intruder. Before he could say anything, a massive fist filled his vision—
WHAM!!!
With a single punch, Luffy sent Arlong flying into the ruins of his own park.
Debris rained down as Arlong sat amidst the wreckage, shaking off the dust. His expression darkened as he glared at Luffy.
Meanwhile, Luffy stood calmly, his nostrils flaring with barely contained rage. Images of Nami's tearful plea—"Save me..."—flashed through his mind. His anger surged.
"You bastard..." Luffy growled, his voice trembling with fury. "You don't get to make my navigator cry!"
His declaration echoed throughout Arlong Park, silencing everyone present.
The Battle Against Arlong
Though the fight had its twists and turns, the outcome was inevitable. In the end, the Arlong Pirates were utterly defeated. Colonel Nezumi, who had arrived hoping to scavenge the spoils, was left battered and humiliated.
Nami officially joined the Straw Hat Pirates as their navigator, and the Going Merry set sail once again.
As the white-framed screen faded to black, the chatroom erupted.
**Boru Salerno:** "Hmm? Why does this Arlong look so familiar?"
**Storo Berry:** "Admiral, that's the same fishman you personally arrested and sent to Impel Down over a decade ago."
**Boru Salerno:** "Oh, really? Then why is he out here causing trouble again?"
Yellow Monkey (Kizaru) had arrested countless pirates over the years. To him, someone like Arlong was just another criminal among thousands—he couldn't possibly remember every single one.
**Jinbe:** "Sigh... It's my fault. When I joined the Seven Warlords, I requested the Marines release Arlong... I never imagined it would lead to this tragedy."
**Shiki:** "To recruit one pirate crew, they released a ruthless murderer! Who should bear responsibility for the civilians killed on Cocoyasi Island? Sengoku, isn't it your head this blood should be on?"
**Sengoku:** "Damn you, Golden Lion! How was I supposed to know he'd go on a killing spree after being released?!"
**Charlotte Linlin:** "Hahahaha! One sentence, and you've washed your hands clean of responsibility! Truly, you're as cunning as ever, Sengoku!"
**Oden:** "Exactly! The lives lost because of Arlong's release should definitely be counted against Sengoku!"
**Sakazuki:** "This is why Impel Down shouldn't exist. Pirates should be executed on the spot!"
Not long afterward, the red-framed screen lit up again.
"You bastards! What are you doing?! Untie me immediately!!"
Sanji woke up bound tightly by ropes, thrashing like a fish out of water.
"Calm down! Here's a letter from Chef Zeff. Read it yourself," Luffy said, placing the note in front of Sanji.
Sanji stilled as he read:
> **"Dear Sanji,**
> When you see this letter, consider it as if you're hearing it directly from me. I know you feel guilty about leaving me behind, but staying only deepens that guilt. Remember our shared dream—the All Blue! It's something neither of us will ever forget.
> For years, I've been searching for the right crew to entrust you to, and finally, I believe Luffy's group is perfect for you. Forgive us for tying you up—it was the only way to help you take the first step.
> **P.S. Watch out for colds; it gets windy out at sea."**
At the mention of "watch out for colds," Sanji's defenses crumbled completely.
**Chopper:** "Haha! My reaction matches yours perfectly!"
**Sanji:** "Damn old man... tearing me apart like this!"
Later, while exploring a jungle island, the crew encountered none other than Nami—the very thief who had stolen from them earlier.
**Zoro:** "Wait... wasn't she the one trying to rob us?"
**Usopp:** "Yeah, what a coincidence!"
**Sanji:** "Is she pretty?" he asked eagerly, earning simultaneous rejections from both Luffy and Zoro, who shoved him away.
Peering ahead with Conqueror's Haki, Luffy noticed Nami burying treasure in an orange grove. Grinning mischievously, he whispered:
"Hey! You were spying on her while she bathed, weren't you?!"
Enraged, Sanji lunged at Luffy, only to be stopped mid-stride by a burst of Conqueror's Haki.
"No, no, no! She's hiding money!" Luffy clarified, laughing hysterically. "Let's teach her a lesson by stealing it back!"
Thus began Operation Treasure Heist.
After digging up Nami's stash, the crew debated what to do with it. Just then, Nojiko appeared, wielding a hammer and demanding answers.
"Why are you stealing Nami's money?!"
But upon learning the truth about Nami's plight, the crew softened. Their decision would shape the future of their relationship with her.
