"Daddy!" Linda was the first to run up with open arms.
"Linda." Gilbert bent down to hug her, nodded to Luther, then walked over and sat beside Adam and Dean, pulling all three children into his arms. Smiling, he said, "Dad, today is indeed a day to celebrate. I've already booked a private room at the BlueSky Hotel. Let's enjoy a nice family dinner together."
"Wonderful." Emma beamed with joy and eagerly reached out to take the children's hands, wanting to lead them outside to Gilbert's car.
"Don't touch me." But as soon as her hand touched Adam's, he shook her off immediately, his face full of wariness. "I don't want you to hold me. I want Mommy."
Everyone was stunned.
The moment Adam mentioned "Mommy," he suddenly remembered Claire.
He had been too busy playing just now and hadn't seen Mommy for a while.
Where did Mommy go? Could she have been driven away by that awful dad?
"Mommy! Mommy!" he suddenly shouted and bolted upstairs.
