"What are you doing here?" Sloane's words were colder than ice, the coldness in them freezing the soft smile on Avery's lips.
"I...."
"Didn't I tell you to stay away from my room?" Sloane cut Avery off harshly, "I told you that you weren't allowed in here." He bit out coldly, snatching his hand out of Avery's grip like it burned him somehow.
"I didn't come in on purpose," Avery shot a glance at the cat, "I brought the cat, and you were having a nightmare, I couldn't just leave you alone like that." His words didn't seem to soothe Sloane.
