The one thousand capacity hall was filled with people who had come to witness Leonard and I get married. Of course I had a rethink about having a small sized party and had a change of mind about it. Why go for small when an extra large party is possible?
We stood facing each other, Leonard and I while Idris and Catherine stood behind us as the best man and maid of honour respectively.
I had met Catherine on one of my visits to a baby store, and we had connected so easily. She had come to get a present for her nephew, and had asked for my opinion about a particular product. Rowan had interrupted her, and made to shove her away, thinking she was one of those jobless celebrity chasers but she wasn't, and so I had made him stop. She had genuinely asked about the product, and did not show any sign of recognizing me.
