"PREPARE!" Hürs shouted, sword already in hand.
Taurus pulled a slender rapier from his belt. Without breaking eye contact, he uncorked a small blue potion and downed it in one smooth gulp. The glass bottle clattered against the ground as he tossed it aside.
"DIE."
He dashed forward, impossibly fast—straight toward Burk.
"Shit!" Burk froze, the blade nearly at his face.
But in an instant, Jibbo appeared behind him. He grabbed Burk and rolled them both out of range, leaping backward to create distance.
"Well, well… Jibbo."Taurus smirked. "I never thought I'd get the chance to fight you again."
Jibbo's face was stone cold. "Leave us, Taurus. This has nothing to do with you."
"Oh? Does your little crew even know who you really are?" Taurus taunted, eyes gleaming."Do they know about your past as an assassin? Your little assignments from Alexandrus?"
The group went dead silent.Saishi, Mo, Hürs—everyone stared.
"…Jibbo," Hürs muttered. "Is it true?"
Jibbo didn't hesitate. "Yes. I was an assassin. But I left that life to be free—to make my own choices."
Taurus chuckled darkly. "So sad. The little assassin who wanted a new life."He raised his sword."Well then… prepare to die."
Taurus rushed again—this time straight at Jibbo. But just as the blade closed in—
Afiri stepped in front of him.
"NO!" Saishi shouted.
Afiri stood firm, gripping the rapier with both hands as it pierced his chest."Guys—NOW!" he yelled.
Stunned by his bravery, the group moved.
"GO!!" Hürs ordered.
Mo charged from the side, slamming his shield into Taurus's head with full force.But Taurus didn't flinch.He snarled, headbutted Afiri, and kicked Mo across the battlefield. Mo crashed hard into the cave wall.
Taurus stood, blood dripping from his forehead, and his glasses shattered on the ground.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME?!" he screamed."I'LL KILL YOU ALL!"

"Don't waste your mana!" Mo laughed, getting up and brushing off dirt."He comes back anyway!"
"Afiri," Mo turned and grinned. "I have a plan. You ready, brother?"
Afiri, even through the pain, returned the smile."Yes, Brother."
Up front, Saishi was panting, struggling to keep up.Taurus never stopped. Not for one breath.
"You're slowing down, weakling!" Taurus taunted.But Saishi's eyes narrowed.
"Something's not right… he's healing."
Then Jibbo realized it. "The blue potion! It's a regenerative brew, unique to Alexandrus's assassin ranks."
"I drank it once too…" he admitted grimly.
Mo cracked his knuckles."Don't worry. I knew it the second I saw it. My plan's too wild for any healing potion to ruin!"
He shouted:"SAISHI! Attack his knees!"
Saishi followed instinct, swinging low—axe after axe, smashing toward Taurus's legs.
"What are you doing, you little shit?!" Taurus barked.
"I don't know either, you dipshit!" Saishi yelled back.
Then—Mo's signal:
"SAISHI—JUMP!"
Taurus looked up, confused—just as Mo rushed from behind…Holding Afiri like a battering ram.
The two slammed into Taurus, and Afiri hugged him tight, locking him in place.
"Brother—NOW!" Afiri shouted.
"YES, BROTHER!" Mo roared back, locking arms around both of them.
Saishi landed behind them, axe ready.
"Saishi—KILL AFIRI!" Mo screamed.
"What?!" Taurus howled. "You'd sacrifice your friend?!"
"HAHA! Felt like it!" Mo laughed, wide-eyed.
From above, the sun framed Saishi's silhouette—axe raised, aura flaring.One brutal swing—Afiri's head split clean.
He dropped like a stone.

The group was serious and ready to talk about Jibbo's past.
