Leo had handled all three, clearing them out and absorbing their cores. The fights gave him a solid amount of experience, enough to push him to Transcendent Tier 30.
But now, climbing to Tier 31 wasn't as easy. Every new tier demanded more cores, more effort. The road ahead was getting tougher.
Right now, Leo stood in Zone 22.
A new stampede was on its way, and what made this one different was the absence of soldiers. He had sent them off to help the other zones.
This one… he'd handle alone.
Why?
Because this stampede wasn't like the others. There were no Ferals, no Mutants.
Only Aberrants.
And not just a handful—around 130 of them. Some were crawling on all fours, others ran on two legs like zombies. Some had multiple heads, others had none. Some had eyes, others didn't. No two looked the same, and each had its own strange ability.
But Leo didn't flinch.
