Chris lit a cigarette and stood quietly by the window, gazing at the vast blue sea outside.
In his plans, Donquixote Doflamingo had always been a key figure—one who could play a massive role.
The man was cold-blooded, harbored destructive ambitions, despised the Marines, and held a deep hatred for the Celestial Dragons.
As a former Celestial Dragon who had been stripped of his status, his psyche had long been utterly twisted.
He was nothing more than a rabid dog, biting at everything in sight!
Such a perfect pawn—if he wasn't used to his fullest potential, wouldn't that be a waste?
Seeing Chris lost in thought, the women exchanged glances. They all knew that Chris was facing a dilemma.
"Our captain is usually so decisive, never one to hesitate. It's rare to see him so deep in thought," Kalina remarked, shrugging her slender shoulders with a faint smile.
Beauty tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and chuckled softly. "Well, if we agree to help Violet, our entire plan will be affected."
"This is a case of 'one move affecting the whole game.' We have to be careful."
Sweetheart Queen nodded, her delicate face serious. "Chris has already mapped out his path to dominance. He won't change it lightly."
"So, when it comes to Bakara's suggestion, he has to weigh all the possible consequences."
Betty took a drag from her cigarette and said calmly, "This isn't something we should interfere with. Let him decide on his own."
Jiu rested her chin on her fair hand and asked Bakara, "What do you think it could be?"
Bakara shook her head slightly, her beautiful brows furrowing. "I can't say for sure what it is, but I feel it's very important to Chris."
"My intuition tells me that if Chris doesn't agree, there's no way he'll obtain it."
On the other side, Violet also understood the gravity of the situation. Chris was clearly considering it carefully.
So she remained silent, waiting patiently, her exquisitely beautiful face filled with anticipation.
Please agree, Chris!
If he refused, then Dressrosa would truly be doomed.
There was no one else who could save her country—Violet was certain of that.
Exhale—
Chris blew out a puff of smoke, then turned his head to look at Bakara.
"Tell her: within two years, I will kill Doflamingo."
"But what I need must be given to me immediately."
He flicked away the cigarette butt and resumed his training.
Hearing this, the women weren't surprised—in fact, they found it completely reasonable.
After all, this was Bakara's intuition at work. They had to trust it.
"Violet, did you hear what Chris said?"
Bakara smiled sweetly, her eyes curving like crescent moons. "If you didn't catch it, I can repeat it for you."
Violet didn't answer immediately. Instead, she frowned slightly, lost in thought.
"Two years is fine. My country can wait that long."
After a moment, she finally spoke, her elegant face wearing a bitter smile.
"You don't understand—Dressrosa has long been under Doflamingo's control. All its treasures, weapons… everything is in his hands."
"So, whatever it is you're referring to, I truly don't know what it could be."
Violet sighed, her expression troubled. "Even if I wanted to give it to you, I wouldn't know where to start."
Hearing this, the women were puzzled. They could tell Violet wasn't lying.
She genuinely didn't know what Chris wanted, and Dressrosa likely had no valuable treasures left.
But if she didn't know, then what was the point?
Because Chris had made it clear—he would only help if he received what he wanted. That was non-negotiable.
"I see…"
Bakara brushed aside her deep red hair, her delicate brows knitting together in contemplation before she spoke slowly.
"If you don't know, that's fine."
"Who are the people closest to you? I sense that this thing is within that circle."
Bakara blinked her beautiful eyes, smiling warmly. "No need to rush. Just ask around, and you might find out."
At this point, Violet could no longer hold back her curiosity.
"Wait… how do you know all this so clearly?"
Violet's delicate brows furrowed in confusion. "Earlier, you said my country has something Chris-sama needs."
"Now you're certain it's among the people close to me. That's… truly unbelievable."
"Can you tell me how you know?"
Bakara leaned back in her chair, crossing her legs gracefully, exuding an air of noble elegance as she smiled.
"Me? I'm Bakara, the Lucky-Lucky Fruit user."
"I can sense when good fortune is coming, and my intuition is never wrong."
"Violet, that's how I know."
Sweetheart Queen smoothed her hair and added with a smile, "Not just 'never wrong'—it's 100% accurate."
Betty took another drag from her cigarette and chimed in, "Absolutely no mistakes."
"What?!"
Violet was utterly shocked.
Though she had investigated Chris, she hadn't uncovered Bakara's abilities. She never imagined the woman was this formidable.
This was beyond incredible.
"No wonder… that explains it."
Violet shook her head, her elegant face filled with awe.
"The Lucky-Lucky Fruit… with you by Chris-sama's side, everything he does must go smoothly, without hindrance."
"Bakara, you're truly amazing. Luck is intangible, yet you wield such a miraculous power. I admire you so much."
Bakara smiled modestly, her demeanor gentle and poised. "No, I'm the one who admires you. You're so beautiful, and you're the princess of Dressrosa."
"That's such a noble status. You're the one who's truly remarkable. If anyone should be envious, it's me."
"Violet, I think you're very easy to talk to. I like you a lot. Let's stay in touch and chat often, alright?"
She had always been keeping an eye on the beautiful women around Chris—none could be overlooked.
Once they appeared, they belonged to Chris.
A princess of Dressrosa, with such a noble status—she would be a perfect match for him.
Just like when she had invited Makino and Kaya to join the crew, it had been Bakara's personal idea.
This kind of situation would undoubtedly happen again in the future!
"Of course! I like you too. Let's talk often from now on~"
Violet's eyes sparkled as she tucked a strand of black hair behind her ear, her smile graceful and warm.
"Then, I'll hang up now and go ask my father."
"Once I have an answer, I'll call you back. Is that alright, Bakara?"
Bakara nodded with a smile. "Sure, go ahead. I'll wait for your call."
With that, the conversation ended.
"Chris, Violet agreed."
Bakara turned to the man training ahead, her smile radiant. "But she needs to ask around first—she doesn't know what we're referring to."
Chris continued swinging his crimson greatsword, responding indifferently with a single word:
"Fine."
Kalina grinned mischievously, her eyes gleaming. "So, what do you all think of this Violet?"
"I think she's quite impressive. She must be a great dancer, right?"
Paula hovered in the air, curious. "How can you tell?"
Betty nodded knowingly, smiling. "She wears a flamenco dress. That means her dancing must be extraordinary."
Kaya, pure-hearted and innocent, smiled sweetly. "I think Violet is really nice. She's so easy to talk to."
"Even though she's a princess, she doesn't act arrogant at all. She's gentle and kind—a really good person."
Makino giggled, her brows arching playfully. "If we ever get to meet her, we should definitely watch her dance. I bet it's mesmerizing."
