Chapter 3 - 1.2

"How are you this early, Mokshita?"

They say when you are about to die, life flashes before your eyes. Well, it didn't for me.

But when I woke up and thought that I had reincarnated, I was overcome with a lot of regret...

Well, it accounted to being with my family and friends, and confess to the crush I have, but that's still important.

Now that I am neither dead, nor have I gotten reincarnated into a different world, I still have my family and friends.

But, I have to blurt out the truth.

If this was a normal rom-com anime, it would have taken atleast 12 episodes. If it was THAT manga whose name I refuse to speak even in mind, it would have taken 300-400+ or whatever chapters with negative progress.

But, it is real life.

But I know myself. If I don't give myself a goal and deadline, I will deflect it.

And I also know that if the deadline cam be pushed back further, I will absolutely do so.

So, once our 10th class comes to an end, and we have to move out for coaching to a city, we wouldn't be able to contact face to face everyday.

So, the last day of the exam is my deadline.

But before that, I must be truthful in front of her atleast, without trying to hide anything, like I always do.

"Well, I just got up early today. What about you? Are you alright!? I swear I will kick that jackass who spread the rumours that you got multiple fractures, especially in your arm!"

"Whoever that 'jackass' is, he or she was speaking the truth."

"Yeah. As if fractures heal that quickly!"

"I am going to show you something. Just don't tell anyone."

She narrowed her eyes at that.

"Sure. I wouldn't tell anyone."

I put my bag on the seat, scanned the area for anyone around, and saw the four corners of our classroom, just to check that they didn't install any cameras when I was absent. Just in case.

Then, I touched my bag, formed chakra of my palm to be uneven.

I tried to lift the bag, it did not happen.

"Did you learn some magic trick?"

"Something like that."

Alright! Another try!

This time, I put my chakra into the tiny holes of the bags chakra formed due to the tiny gaps between the threads.

Then I tried to interlock the two chakras.

It is... difficult.

Not only my chakra can't go out enough of my body, but even controlling the chakra already out is difficult.

But, it was just enough.

Should I actually reveal it?

...I actually want to.

I didn't hesitate further, and lifted off my bag without grabbing, with just my palm touching it.

I grinned as she was hovering over the bag and my hand, trying to find any trick.

"How did you do it!?"

"I was actually going to die and get reincarnated in another world. But the cat goddess who was going to reincarnate me thought that I was too much of a coward.

So, she cancelled my reincarnation plan, healed me, and I acquired this power. Not only do I naturally heal faster now, I can feel the basic energy unit of the world, which I am calling 'chakra', but I can also control my own 'chakra'."

Her deadpan face said it all. She didn't believe me one bit.

"Did you hit your head that bad? I would rather believe that you have a metal replacement for a bone in your hand, and there is a magnet inside the bag."

I dropped the bag back on the seat, and tried thinking of another way.

Ah!

I then put my hands on the wall as high as I could, even arching my feet, and then let my feet go to normal.

My hands were sticking on the wall, and my feet were in the air. Though I am neither Spider-Man nor a 'Ninja' who can easily do this. I feel all the weight of my body on my hands-

Wait... what if...?

I unstuck one of my hand, and used that to remove my shoes.

Then, I stuck both of my feet as well along with that hand.

The weight got distributed, and it got easier. Not effortless. But easier compared to before.

I looked back at her, and grinned.

"Do you believe me now!?"

She was too shocked to say anything, and just then, someone entered, and my focus fell. I was down on my feet on the classroom floor again, no longer sticking anywhere.

"Oh Harsh bhai! You ok now!?"

"Yeah Adi. Was just trying to show her that I am fine now. But she didn't believe me."

He might have heard 'Do you believe me now?', so that should be good for an excuse.

He smirked.

Did he see it!?

"Come to the sports room if you want to measure your height. But you are just a bit taller than her, don't worry."

Oh... shoes off. Standing very close to the wall... I guess that's understandable why he would think that's what we were doing.

Phew!

We started talking about random things. Like I am okay now.

Like really. I am okay.

"Really?"

"No. I am in so much pain that-... Like I ran 10 kms on a road made of legos without break!"

"Bhai, so you really are okay huh. I am glad."

Adi... He is such a great guy—

"I couldn't cheat from your test last Monday test. Now I don't have to worry."

I punched him in the stomach, and he started laughing.

"Hahahaha!"

I also smiled. I will not let him cheat next Monday for sure.

My eyes fell on Mokshita, and she was still looking too shocked.

Then she muttered, "I think I forgot to bring my homework."

She grabbed her back, and went out of the classroom.

Should I have not told her about this afterall?
