Arthur has long realized that having a family meant something for him.
He tried refusing these emotions...this whole family thing, assuming that they would drag him down and become his weakness.
But it was unavoidable.
How can one hate those who feel nothing but love and care for you? Selfless love, asking for nothing in return and just trying to give.
Arthur was overwhelmed by all that.
He didn't know how to live in a family so he thought he might be awkward and they might find out that he was an impostor...someone took the place of their child
However, as he lived days with them...expressed what he felt...demanded what he wanted, and started to laugh and cry in their pain and happiness, he understood that he was actually just fooling himself.
He didn't have a family in his last life, but it didn't mean he didn't crave one.
And now that he was blessed with one...he just couldn't stop himself from getting attached to them more and more as the days passed.
